We decided to hire a face painter for a party at our house since we have a newborn and wouldn't be able to go anywhere this year. This company had good reviews, so two months in advance I booked a day and paid a deposit. On the day of the party, the face painter didn't show up. I called the company 30 minutes after the artist should have been there, and after not knowing what event I was calling about, she said she would call me back. I got a call back 30 minutes later that the artist was sick and they were unable to find a replacement, but I would get my deposit back. She was, however, apologetic for disappointing us. I was mostly frustrated that the company didn't call before the actual event to cancel, but I had to call them after failing to show up. On top of that, I had to be the one to disappoint my daughter that she would not get her only birthday request to get her face painted. Not to mention the 20 kids that had also been promised a face painter... I would never hire this company again, and neither will the parents that came to the party.

Our Elsa (Mikayla) checked in the evening before, and from the moment she got to the party she was on.
