Lacking crucial wedding industry knowledge, and working full-time quickly made us realize we needed help! We met with several wedding planners, who were all great, but once we met Lisa we knew she was the one! Lisa immediately felt like family, someone you could trust, someone who listened and asked all the right questions. She always has your best interest in mind and is always there to remind you that everything will be okay. We selected the "wedding planning assistance" package because we truly needed all the help we could get! I would HIGHLY recommend this package to anyone because wedding planning is truly a marathon and Lisa is your coach during the whole process. She helps you sort out all the details that you don't even realize you need to think about. Right away, she came up with a game plan that prioritized our budget. She recommended vendors who, on our wedding day, delivered top-tier service. She is well-connected within the San Diego wedding industry and is beloved by these vendors, and I understand why. She attended vendor meetings with us and made sure the vendors understood our vision all while remaining cost-conscious. Did I mention she helped us stay within our budget?! Bailey and I frequently communicated with Lisa, asking her all kinds of questions. She responded quickly and offered incredible advice when we were torn between certain decisions. Lisa is so positive, always smiling, and constantly reassures you that your special day will turn out beautiful. AND IT WILL, in large part, due to her execution on the day of. Wedding planning isn't just Lisa's business, it goes deeper than that - it's her passion. During the whole planning process, we felt just how much she cared about making our wedding day special for us. Bailey and I agree that our wedding day was the best day of our lives! Everything flowed so smoothly, she made sure we stuck to the timeline all while ensuring we did not miss special moments with our guests. She is a people person who knows how to execute a timeline and tie all the small details together. We cannot recommend Lisa enough!!

Lisa was the second coordinator I interviewed and after meeting with her I knew I wanted to go with her based on her experience and ease she carried. My husband and I got married at The Darlington House in La Jolla and she was one of a few that were highly recommended, and it was the best decision ever! I am an extremely organized and scheduled person, so when I met Lisa I was instantly at ease. She was so friendly and so organized that I knew our wedding was in good hands. Lisa was also there for me with answers to any of my questions and a couple weeks before the big day when we met, she had everything laid our perfectly. She really helped bring my visions to life with her attention to detail. She knew exactly the aesthetic and vibe I was going for and really helped tie up any loose ends. The day of our wedding could not have gone more perfect! There wasn't a single thing I would have changed and just so grateful for Lisa and her team to make the whole day run so smoothly. Lisa it was truly a blessing to have worked with you, thank you!!!

Elena and her team were absolutely phenomenal and made our wedding day so much more enjoyable and stress-free. Day-of Coordination: Elena stood out not only on the wedding day but also in the months leading up to it. She was incredibly helpful during the planning process--offering thoughtful insight into creating a seamless timeline and even helping with ideas for decor and place settings tailored to our outdoor, beachy (and occasionally windy!) wedding. She thought of every detail, from preparing us in advance to get those dreamy photos (like the first kiss and cake cutting) to ensuring everything ran on schedule without a hitch. On the day, Elena was a true lifesaver. From the rehearsal to the ceremony and reception, I never once had to worry about where I needed to be or what was next. She kept everything moving smoothly, pointing me in the right direction while allowing me to fully enjoy the company of our guests and the magic of the day. And she always made sure we were taken care of (never without a drink in hand!). Her leadership and attention to detail made it all so effortless for us. Florals: Melissa tackled all of our floral arrangements, and I couldn't have been happier with how they turned out! Working within my limited budget, she brought my vision to life with stunning florals that perfectly matched our style and the seaside setting. Melissa truly understood the look I was going for, and her creativity and expertise made every arrangement stand out beautifully. She even gave me a calming pep talk before I walked down the aisle, which was such a thoughtful touch during a nerve-wracking moment. If you are considering a wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum (or anywhere else), I cannot recommend I-Do highly enough. Elena is an incredible coordinator who will make your wedding day run flawlessly, and Melissa will make your vision a reality. Thank you, Elena and Melissa, for helping make our wedding day unforgettable!

I booked her early and we initially just did a couple meetings to discuss our vision and needs regarding coordination, vendor contracts and florals since we did not need a full-planning service, only partial. She was always upfront and gave me honest opinions especially when it came to where to splurge and save, and what could look good and what wouldn't. The last 2 months is where she really shined, helping us follow up with vendors on details, setting deadlines for me to book rentals, reviewing contracts and constantly doing sanity checks when I needed it. The day of, she came extremely prepared, everything flowed smoothly (except some technical issues on part of the venue) and she was great at going with the flow and just letting the vibe and natural mood of the day go, and fixing whatever problems I threw at her. We also had her as our florist and she truly out did herself- her prices were incredibly reasonable and she handled everything like a champ when her assistant got sick the day of the reception. She also took my back and forth floral design suggestions and changes very well, as I am quite particular on details in some areas and deferred to her expertise in others. Honestly could not have done it without her and she was without a doubt my #1 worth it vendor! Would absolutely hire her for all your wedding planning and floral needs.

I met with her a few times before the wedding, and each time I felt more stressed after talking with her than I did before. On the day of our rehearsal, she double-booked herself. We had previously arranged with her that the rehearsal would start at 6, but she insisted that it was supposed to start at 5:30. She then complained about my pastor and other wedding party members who were late because of a fire. To top it all off, she left around 6:15, which meant that my pastor was forced to run the rehearsal without her (which worked out for the better). In all of the waiting around before we started, she made fun of my family members and was generally rude to everyone. On the day of the wedding, we woke up to pouring rain. I was distraught, as could be imagined with an outdoor wedding. After my bridesmaids and family finally calmed me down, Meghan calls freaking out, asking me what my plans were to deal with the rain. Obviously, this upset me again as she had said that I was not to worry about the rain plans or anything else, especially on the day of the wedding. Everything was worked out by my mom's best friend, who ended up taking on all of the roles that Meghan should have on the day of the wedding. Finally, Meghan just would not leave me alone! She kept talking to me when I was just trying to look around at my wedding, chatting casually with guests instead of working, and did not keep the events of the night moving. I am very disappointed with Meghan's service and hope that others will take my experience into consideration when choosing a wedding planner or coordinator.

We followed up to see what wedding planning packages she had and safe to say this was the best decision made. Eliza, Tammy + Team provided the full service for our wedding. We hired them for planning, design, coordination, rentals, and florals and it made life so much easier. I had the best experience with Eliza and team with our weekly meetings for a few months to align on all the details. She understand and appreciated our mixed cultural background and how we wanted to incorporate elements of this for a Persian and Vietnamese wedding. I have always heard wedding planning to be stressful but safe to say my experience was the best and the day of the wedding went beautifully. Nothing ever goes to plan and I'm really happy Eliza and her team are experienced enough to adjust to last minutes changes such as guest no shows, etc. She captured our vision perfectly and I'm already thinking of future events I would plan with Bel Events again!

Horrible experience, stay away!…read more This is a review for Eliza at BEL Events for her wedding planning services. We met Eliza at our venue 8 month before our wedding date. During the first session she presented herself well, and she talked and bragged a lot about her 18 yrs of experience in event planning and stories about how she handles wedding situations. So, we thought she is the right event planner for us and signed a contract. After signing the contract and making the payment, she was very hard to find and we did not see the expected action from her side, and every time we followed up, her response was: "don't worry I will manage everything before the wedding day". We were asking for the basics of planning such as timeline, vendor recommendations (a few to choose from) and communications (which was part of the contract) but not no action except a quote of her own rental service. We were getting closer to the wedding date and her lack of action made us so worried and very frustrated. Eventually we had to get involved and did almost 90% of the work ourselves. She was very hard to find but even when we could talk to her, she would create more unnecessary problems to an extant that my wife had panic attacks after a few meetings we had with her. 2 month before our wedding she caused so much anxiety and frustration that we decided to end our contract with her and find another planner. Thankfully, our new planner was amazing and our Wedding planning went very smooth after that, and the event was as wonderful as we could imagine! With way lower cost than what Eliza had proposed! After I requested to cancel the contract she disappeared and never responded to our emails, which is very unprofessional. Here is a list of a few issues from our experience of working with here: 1- Accessibility: every time we had a question or needed to talk to her, it was taking several days until she gets back to us. With irrelevant excuses, like she would show me her busy google calendar! 2- Push to use her own services as vendors: Per her contract she had to suggest different vendors so we can choose. But since she has rental and flower services, she was arguing so much to stop us from even looking at other options! She charges unnecessarily expensive! By doing a little research, we found our vendors and saved at least 50% with same or better quality! 3- Nonsense arguments and rude attitude: In many occasions she was just insisting on holding the event the way SHE wants, without paying attention to our request or desire. Every time we requested something, her answer was: "I don't want MY event to be that way or I don't want MY guests to be that way"!!! With a condescending attitude emphasizing that "I have 18 yrs of experience and I know what to do"!!! Any simple request would become a long story and unnecessary argument. In one occasion my wife requested that guests throw flower petals while walking out of aisle, and she immediately said: "No!, you can't do that, I don't want my cleaning crew spend time on cleaning the petals"!!!! In another occasion Eliza was insisting on only using her recommended valet service (which was quoting more than double the price of the service we eventually used) and on top of it she was forcing us to rent extra parking lot out of venue and pay extra for shuttle service!!!! While the venue had enough capacity! And when I respectfully said: I am confident that the venue has enough capacity for parking, she got very angry and said: "in that case tell all your guests to use UBER and they can't drive their own car"!!! It was a nightmare working with BEL Events and I don't recommend her service due to lack of professionalism and decency in her business.

Hiring Natalie and A Good Affair was THE BEST DECISION WE MADE!…read more If you're on the fence about hiring a wedding planner at all, hire Natalie and A Good Affair. DO IT. It is more than worth it! I got married in December 2025 in my parent's backyard in North Tustin, and people are still talking about how AMAZING our wedding day was! Yes, we have fabulous family and friends who love us, and they made our day extra special, but I'm telling you right now, the day was perfect because of Natalie and her team. The time and effort AGA went into getting to know us and our must-haves put us at ease immediately. Planning a wedding is such a collaborative process, and we walked away from every meeting feeling heard and supported. The outcome? The best day of our lives! Natalie is one of the most professional talents in her field. I'm amazed at how she comes up with her amazing visions, and then brings them to life. Her organization, clear communication, and attention to detail are unmatched. On top of that, she is very well respected in the wedding community. Everyone I came into contact with assured me I was working with the best. SPOILER ALERT: We were! Team AGA took our ideas and transformed them into a well-curated dream. Every detail was beyond what I could have ever imagined! Additionally, Team AGA's experience blew us away. The vendors they recommended were top-tier and brought the wedding day together seamlessly. From the DJ to the caterer to the florist to the HMU team, each vendor was thoughtfully chosen to meet the needs of our wedding. Team AGA truly listened to what we liked and brought together an even better vision than we could have ever hoped for! They anticipated everything, and handled day-of setbacks like pros. They created a calm and easy-going presence that set a peaceful tone for the day. Our wedding party and guests said it was the best wedding they had been to or been a part of. My husband and I felt doted on up until our wedding exit, and we still talk about how much we miss Natalie, Kayla, and Jesica. Team AGA continue to be so thoughtful and sent my sister and I flowers and sweet treats on our birthday in February. They truly became part of our family throughout the wedding planning process. If you're looking to host an event everyone will rave about for years to come, hire A Good Affair. You won't regret it.

While there, we stumbled into the ball room where we stood in awe at what was at the time, one of the most beautiful wedding designs I had ever seen. My mother and I promptly asked the first person we saw who was designing this wedding and got a card for a "Natalie Good". I pocketed the card and thought- one day! Fast forward 5 years I had met Matt(my now husband) and we were moving into together. I was cleaning my room at my parents house and came across Natalie's card and put it in my purse. 3 months later, Matt proposed on a Saturday and the following Monday I called Natalie and booked her. First and foremost, Natalie is an angel on this planet. Wedding planning is so stressful and I never had to worry about a single thing, she went above and beyond to make sure I was not stressed and happy. She is more than just our wedding planner and over the 3 years we planned my wedding (thanks covid...), she became my friend and someone who I adore Second, when going down this road, I think trusting your planner/wedding team is extremely important to make sure the process is seamless and smooth. I can tell you that without a doubt, I trust Natalie and her team implicitly! I trusted them so much that I let them run free on the design for my wedding and I could not have been happier! Everything was perfect and so gorgeous- from the table design to the flowers, everything was flawless and it was so amazing to watch her vision come to life. It's been 3 months and I am still getting calls and compliments from all of our guests and even friends of guests who weren't there but saw pictures. She is insanely talented and has an unbelievable list of vendors that are just as talented. We even had a silent disco at our wedding and it was a hit! Third, her team is awesome. The women who helped me specifically- Ellie, Kennedy, and Maddy- where next level professional and so helpful. There were nights where I would be up at midnight and text Ellie and she would always answer and talk me down. Kennedy and Maddy were running around on wedding day making sure I was hydrated and fed and happy. Everything about A Good Affair is top notch and I could not be more grateful or fortunate to have had them design, plan and make our dream wedding a reality. I cannot recommend them enough if you are looking for a team to take your wedding to the next level and who will be there every step of the way to make your dreams come true!

Summer was exceptionally rude and confrontational and told me that I don't have to work with them if I don't want to, but they would not be refunding the deposit. They first claimed that the deposit was to secure the date only, but after they received the deposit, they claimed it was to be used towards their own in-house exorbitantly priced rentals. Their ever changing terms and lackadaisical spirit, coupled with Summer's corrosive behavior and vacuous promises made them very unpleasant to work with. This is not how one should run a business. Morgan kindly met us at our venue and we collectively came up with a design and plan. They put together a quote, and collected a deposit to the tune of a few thousand dollars. We then found out that the rental prices were exorbitantly high and they were constantly changing things. The first time they came to our venue, they charged a $65 one-time fee, but then somehow, they added four of these $65 visits even though we didn't ask for that. We found nicer tables for 40% cheaper, better linens for over 100% cheaper, etc. Furthermore, the initial itemized quote that they sent to us had a huge math/addition error to the tune of almost $1,000. This isn't acceptable. We brought all of this up, and this is where summer got involved and things began to go south. They informed us that they do not collaborate with other rental companies and that we MUST use their ridiculously priced rentals. We initially hired these people as planners, we never agreed to exclusively use them for rentals. We had a discussion with summer regarding this, and she was extremely disrespectful and flat out rude. She informed us that they will not be offering a refund, and we could walk away from our deposit and find someone else. The issue is that they did NOT disclose that this was their refund policy and they did not get a contract signed. Communicating back and forth with summer has been excruciatingly painful and exhausting and a total waste of time. We brought on planners for convenience and to streamline our workflow. They are trying to steal from us and engage in unethical business practices and continue to insist that they are entitled to our deposit. I don't recommend anyone do business with them if you want to minimize headache. We went from wanting to make our lives easy and convenient to now having the added burden of dealing with a lawsuit.
