We had our daughters Quinceañera here this past Saturday. It was an unforgettable night. First I wan't to say that the place is beautiful. Every one of our guests was amazed how pretty and everything looked. Everyone at Factory of Dreams Hall starting with Jon and Christian are top notch people, very profesional and really care to make your event their priority. We booked the place 1 year ago and Jon was right up front about every single detail. As the date got closer and we got more involved both him and Christian were great at communicating and answering any questions or concerns with might have. When the day finally came it was spectacular. Every single person working there made an effort to make us and our guests feel like royalty. The security guys did their job like they were meant to and were very polite. AMAZING HALL!!!!!!!!!!!! From the beginning to end, it was an amazing experience and truly like a fairy tale. EXCELLENT customer service, DELICIOUS food, the DJ knows how to keep the dance floor "lit" and the experience is overall amazing. The waiters were very nice and friendly. In particular, Jose was super attentive and quick. I attended my cousin's quinceañera on 1/20/2019 (Sunday) and I would LOVE to have my wedding here in the future!! I have to start off by saying that this venue is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! We celebrated my daughter's "Winter Wonderland" quinceañera on February 2nd. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the DJ had our guests dancing all night long. We were EXTREMELY happy with how everything turned out. A special thank you to Christian and his team, from the planning to the decor and to getting all of my questions answered. The staff was exceptionally attentive and polite to our guests, they ensured that all of our guests were taken care of. My husband and I were able to enjoy ourselves and did not have to worry about absolutely anything. Christian took the time to sit with us and walk us through what the event would entail from beginning to end. Relief and relaxation emerged as my daughters big day neared, we did not have to worry about utterly anything. If any of you remember we had one of the biggest storms of winter that day and Christian allowed my guests to enter the venue early so they wouldn't have to stand out in the cold rain. Myself and our guests were extremely grateful for that. I've read some complaints on here about security. I understand that it's a little frustrating that guests aren't able to continuously exit and re-enter the venue but I feel that with the way things are nowadays you can never be too careful. Security looked in purses, searched our guests, told our guests they couldn't come in n out of the venue and I felt that was acceptable. We had a building full of family, friends and lots of teenagers and safety was extremely important to us. I HIGHLY recommend Factory of Dreams for your next big event. This venue is amazing. The staff/waiters did an excellent job. Bar tenders were very friendly. Decorations were amazing. However, the reason i am giving this place 3 stars it's because "head security " was extremely rude. Not allowing people to go in/out of the building. I have a elderly father whom needed his medication from the car and we told him the reason why were going out and he still said "you can't be coming in/out". Not being professional at all. He told my mother that she couldn't take her water bottle inside the venue. When she asked where she could toss it, he ignored her. Also, we got there about six minutes early and when i stated if we could go in, he said no. That it wasn't 6pm yet. When I continued to talk to him he shut the doors and left me talking. That is rude. Hire people with professionalism, that know how to talk to people. read more

My daughter's Quinceañera turned into an amazing event thanks to all the staff at factory of dreams. I had the reception for my wedding here 2 months ago. We enjoyed and are happy with everything Factory of Dreams had to offer. However, there are a few things I would say to think over before signing the contract. The wedding cake presented is only a fantasy cake. The real cake is brought out already cut for the guests. So if you are doing your wedding here and you are trying to cut the cake with your husband like in traditional weddings, I would suggest getting your cake somewhere else. It was just a misunderstanding that I wish I would have understood better sooner. Nonetheless factory of Dreams was able to accommodate and put a small real cake on top of the fantasy cake so my husband and I can cut it for the pictures. So if you don't want a fantasy cake and actually want to be seen cutting a real cake, make sure that is noted and subtracted from the contract. Also, if you aren't too sure how many guests are coming, start the contract with the least amount of people you would think would come, if you find yourself inviting more you can always adjust the contract and add more people but there isn't a way of lowering the amount of guests when it's already signed. Which is understandable since it is a binding contract. It's not a complaint, it's more of a heads up if you aren't aware. We loved the food, the way the guests were treated by the servers was exceptional! We enjoyed all the decorations that were set and honestly well worth the price. read more

Responding to this "I agree that Your videographer did step in to invite friends and family to the center of the dance floor for a picture over the mic, but he did not step in to take over music in any way; the dance floor was full the entire night, which is a good thing. The measurement of the dance floor is approximately 20 feet by 30 feet... And, the macarena was requested by guests. " I never stated or implied that my videographer took over music, as previously stated he grabbed the mic and created a great ambiance by talking into the mic. As you stated the dance floor was full the entire night, with less than 200 people on the dance floor. That is 100 less than the max that are supposed to comfortably move around on the dance floor. Yes, the Macarena was requested by guests, the issue is that your DJ played it three times in a row. People don't like to dance to the same song 3 times back to back, a good DJ knows how to keep the momentum going with a different song. He would also play music by the same artist several times in a row. That is not mixing, that's is just hitting next on a playlist, anyone can do that! Regardless, as a company you should do more to acknowledge complaints and resolve them adequately in person especially when you don't deliver as promised. read more

I went for a sweet sixteen. I had heard many great things about the place. One word: Over hyped. The place looks a little smaller than I thought it would have been. Food was not that great, servers were young and were not professional. The cake provided by the venue was not great or good. The Security man at the door takes his job tooooo seriously. I respect his job but having the door half way closed to let one person one at a time,especially kids, was to much. The place is well decorated and I loved the dance floor. We celebrated my daughter's quinceañera at Factory of Dreams earlier this month and could not be more pleased. We had heard about the venue but had never attended an event there. We had heard good things, and upon entering the hall, you can see the touch of elegance in the decor. They appear to continue adding more and more elegant features, as they establish themselves. They added two light features and updated the restrooms from the time we booked the event in March to the date of the event in early November. Just to give you an idea of how popular this place has become, in the less than two years they have been in busines in Oceanside, they are already almost completely booked for next year. One of the best features of Factory of Dreams is the fact that they relieve as much of the headaches as you are willing to pay for. The price tag covers the venue, all decorations, food, drinks, music, cake, security, and clean up. The add-ons include coffee, photo booth, and robot stilt dancer, among others. They can also give you references for other things like photography, party favor maker, candy table decorator, minister, etc. When you see the price tag, you get a little bit of sticker shock, but when you consider all of the expenses that are included and the headache of coordinating it all, you realize it's more than worth it. We booked our event with John, hashed out the program details with Christian, and selected decorations with Yesenia and Vilma. They were all very accommodating and friendly. They put their heart into making your event special and exactly what you want it to be. My wife was in contact with John and Christian every step of the way. She was making changes and adding details up to the day of the event. Christian never showed any frustration or hesitation to accommodate our often crazy requests. FoD can make your event whatever you want it to be. They are used to events with crazy lighting, loud music, and booze. And they do a great job if that's what you're looking for. We are a conservative Christian family and do not dance or drink, and they succeeded in making our event classy, instead of trashy. We 100% recommend this venue for your next event. I am in awe with how my sister's quinceañera turned out! From beginning to end their team of experience & professional staff helped me and my family every step of the way! I really appreciate the trust in their experience field! Made our event stress free and hassle free! From picking out our decorations, centerpiece, picking out our dinner for our event! We had a food tasting and let me tell you the options are ALL delicious and tasty! Everything was a one stop shop! Also they include the cake and have so many options as well. When it came to coordination I didn't even need to contact a event planner from an outside vendor because Christian helped with all details. My daughter's sweet 16 couldn't of been more perfect! The staff is very professional, caring, courteous, attentive and go above and beyond to make sure that your party is exactly what you were looking for. I went in with ideas and still wasn't sure if I was going to book this venue for my daughters event. They explained prices, package options, and gave me a tour in detail of their venue, they work with you and take their time with you. This is a family run business and I think that they understood the importance of making sure we gave our family the best celebration there was. Nothing was missing, they have referrals for everything you need to go with your event. Photographer, choreographer, even a mobile priest or clergy to perform ceremonies or blessings at your event. Without a doubt this was the best decision I made for my family. Our guests were beyond pleased with everything, from the food, the treat tables, the music, the photo booth, the party hype robot man keeping everyone on the (LED) dance floor, attentiveness of the staff, plenty of parking, to the cleanliness of restrooms. This hall is the absolute worst nightmare. DO NOT fall into their soft and sweet talking. They promise you a memorable night but you will experience the opposite at the day of the event. We had our event on Dec 21, 2018. John (Owner) will sweet talk you into a contract. Once contract is signed he'll change everything and will make his own rules and policies to your surprise and disadvantage. Very poor coordinated and organized. Hall and set up is nice but service will overkill everything, including your money. Waiters do a good job. SECURITY IS PATHETIC!!!!!! TRUST ME!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! Problems will begin as soon as you and your guest arrive. They wouldn't let my wife and my guests in, not even minutes until 5PM. Security wanted to strip check the damas and chambelanes court. I am talking about girls from the age of 13 to 18 years old. Every guest had to wait until being searched and I MEAN SEARCHED!!!! I am all for security and providing a wonderful atmosphere and environment for my family and guests but SECURITY was very harassing and unprofessional. IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR FAMILY OR GUESTS HARASSED DO NOT BOOK HERE... THERE ARE A LOT OF NICE VENUES OUT THERE!!!! DONT GET FOOLED BY THE LOOKS!!! SECURITY threatened in multiple occasions to shut down our party for non sense reasons. They kicked out our Quinceanera court because they (damas and chambelanes) were rented and not part of the party or guests. Again, we are talking about kids from the age of 13 -18 years old waiting outside in the freezing cold at 9 PM wearing short sleeve dresses. After repeated requests and after 10 minutes, whomever was in charged had to authorized to let them in. Not a single fight happened or took place. Not one of my guests attempted to bring liquor or anything else not allowed as most of our guests were family and very close friends. The only altercations that ensued were initiated by their security personnel. Food was nasty and not what we order. Bartenders were refusing to serve drinks to our guest until they were given approval not by me but by the person in charge. IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!!! SO IF YOU REALL WANT TO ENJOY YOUR DAY AND GUEST STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! Very poorly managed by family and bad reputation for all other Factory of Dreams in North Park, Chula Vista and Las Vegas!!!!
