I've bought and sold houses and refinanced them, several times in my life…read more We just completed getting our VA-loan-backed, manufactured "double-wide" home, here in Oregon, refinanced. Fortunately, we picked LeaderOne (their regional office in Eastern Washington state) to help us out. WHAT a professional group of people they turned out to be! We picked them initially because very few of the pitches previously mailed to us to refinance our home, actually DO work with manufactured homes (ours is on a private, deeded lot, not in a park). Leader One are clearly expert at working with both such homes and with VA loans. From their initial proposal letter to the very last steps of our refinance, every "i" was dotted, every "t" crossed, with EXCELLENT communications throughout and very high professionalism. They (and we) turned around every document in record time. Item: my husband had recently changed his long-despised first and middle names (via state court order). Some of his ID and financial material was still in his old name, some already changed over. The LeaderOne staff (again, Washington state), listened well and handled extra paperwork to do everything right. The whole process (in our case, in part because we know how to provide OUR paperwork correctly, too ) took just over five weeks. That is FAST. Our closing took place in our dining room with a terrific "mobile notary" picked by LeaderOne, on the day originally promised. The EFT of our additional cash back (due to two years of working on our home and thus earning a much higher appraisal than originally), came just a few days after the closing. And, shortly after THAT, we got a bundle of paperwork in the mail with all documents (including our revised home deed, and a long-missing copy of our home's HUD compliance certificate) 100-percent correctly filled out, INCLUDING my husband's new (changed) name on everything. Our situation provided many "opportunities" for screw-ups, but none whatsoever happened. Everyone we talked with there was cordial, helpful and often, even fun. Wow. So: a very smart company filled with industrious pros who know what they're doing. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you Jody, Randy et.al. for a job superbly (and very pleasantly) done.
