There is one wheel, but wheel throwing classes are not available. Additionally, people tend to leave the tools in the sink all the time.... or leave things out...... The community is fine. Wouldn't say there's as much expertise sharing as in other communities; this is a great mostly beginner/intermediate level community. For hand building being the main thing this place has to offer I believe it needs more items that compliment hand building such as, more foam in different shapes, Weight scales, sand paper to level the bottom of an item, drimmels, etc. a lot of items that compliment hand building are missing here...

6 of us decided to do resin boards as a fun Sunday activity! We made a reservation, picked out…read moreboards in advance, and we arrived and everything was set up and ready to go. The staff was so helpful with the process as we didn't know what we were doing. They walked us through each step and gave us a lot of choices for colors and also images for inspiration. We took over 3 hours to create our boards and we were all super happy with the final product. They close at 5pm on Sundays but we ended up there much later completing our projects and we never felt rushed. Thank you, Craftworx! The studio is bright and clean and welcoming. They service wine and drinks and snacks! There are so many different projects to choose from! We can't wait to pick up our dry resin boards (they have to sit and dry for a few days) and we are already planning our next projects!

I've been a Costco customer for over 10 years, and this is one of the most convenient Costco…read morelocations inside the Loop. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, including when handling returns, and the store layout is pretty much what you'd expect from any Costco in the U.S. In addition to the outdoor lot, there's also a multi-level covered parking garage, which is great during Houston heat or rain. The only downside is the parking lot design near the entrance, where cars and pedestrians constantly cross paths, making traffic flow pretty slow during busy times. I do recommend avoiding the gas station here. Gas prices are noticeably higher than the Costco locations on Bunker Hill and Sugar Land. For example, currently premium is $4.69/gal here where at Sugar Land it's $4.24/gal. YIKES!!!! The gas area is also very cramped with long lines that spill into the parking lot. Thankfully, the self-checkout lanes inside make regular shopping trips quick and convenient if you're only buying a few items. I'd also recommend avoiding this location on weekends or around 5-6 p.m. on weekdays when people are getting off work, because the crowds and parking lot traffic can become pretty chaotic. Overall, this is still a great Costco location because of the convenient Inner Loop location, friendly staff, and covered parking.

This center has plenty of rooms/spaces for rent for different events. You can also vote here. But what I love is the variety of free daily activities that provide for people of all abilities. It's a great place for leisure and recreation and you get to meet others in the community. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially with the setups. There's also a walking trail outside and plenty of parking. They also have a resource wall full of information like events and assistance.

It seems like they are always holding some sort of event for the community - mainly for seniors. My recent experience here was to early vote in the 2020 Presidential election. The line was all the way out the door and down the sidewalk and across the parking lot as this was the first day of early voting. Parking was a bit tough to find and so I parked in the adjacent Metro Park and Ride lot. The inside of the building was immaculate. I could tell that the staff there takes great pride in keeping it clean and tidy. I was pleased with my experience at this community center and can't wait for all of the various programs to come back so that I may partake in them. Covid has really put a damper on things this year. Kudos to the individuals involved with the Kingwood Community Center and keep up the great work!
