I can't even imagine what he could do for people with higher incomes/kids/home businesses, etc. It watching a magician pull a rabbit out of a hat. This past year was a rough one for me...wife doesn't work and I lost my job and pulled in like half of what I usually get in regular income. After going over all the specifics of my layoff, and the fact that I had to plunder my 401k just to put food on the table I was expecting to actually owe money to the IRS. But nope, E D calls me back and says the IRS actually owes me 30% more than last year! I don't even have the words to express how grateful I am. I reviewed the response and signed it, they then efiled my response. I heard nothing after except that the court accepted the response a few months later I received a default judgement notification in the mail. It turns out this company sent in another one of their clients response in instead of mine and the court accepted it. The person I worked with at CAPS legal team told me it was the court's fault for accepting the response and that the clerk could be fired for it but never addressed the fact that they sent wrong person's response. I felt like they failed me and I didnt want to work with them anymore however when I asked to talk to a manger about a refund I was met with most rude response from someone named Michelle who decided to communicate with me solely through text when I had asked for a phone call. They refuse to believe that they sent in the wrong response (I got it confirmed with the court that they sent the wrong response in) and asked me to stop wasting their time. Overall everything felt unprofessional and Im left feeling robbed, think really hard before enlisting this company's service as they seem to pray on people who are in a tough situation and think they can get away with treating you like crap because they don't think you can afford a real lawyer if you use their service.
