The location is another plus--just minutes from Zona Rosa shopping and dining. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. The room itself was spotless, which I really appreciated. That said, there were a few maintenance issues worth noting. Our first room had an AC unit that wouldn't respond to the thermostat. Since no maintenance staff was available, the front desk moved us across the hall. Unfortunately, the new room had a few quirks of its own: the front door didn't lock properly, the shower made a high-pitched squeal when in use, and it continued dripping after being shut off. We shared these concerns with the front desk upon checkout, and I hope they're addressed. One small suggestion: it would be great if the AC unit had a deflector--right now, the cold air blows directly onto the bed, which isn't ideal. All in all, a good stay with strong service and amenities, but this property would benefit from a bit more attention to maintenance.

Same floorplan, services, (especially complimentary breakfast & parking), and a good government rate. This hotel really reminds me why Springhill Suites is my favorite Marriott brand! The only hiccup with the stay (and it wasn't the hotels fault) was that I needed a hotel shuttle because of my early morning flight. I ended up returning my rental car the evening prior and paying for a ride share to and from the airport. If I were to use this Springhill in the future with an early morning flight again, I would end the stay a day early, and for the last night check into another hotel with an airport shuttle. Reasonable, enjoyable- recommend and will repeat when my travels take me back to Kansas City!

No knock against the hotel itself, but feel that housekeeping should be daily instead of every two days, but realize things have changed since the pandemic, and the front desk indicated they would accommodate us with anything that was needed between housekeeping days. The only negative aspect was the breakfast. While appreciative that Continental breakfast is offered, the selections were not great, again, I feel that Hilton in general should offer better variety of breakfast meats and eggs. However, our stay was enjoyable and all the sites we visited was a short drive of our hotel location. Home2Suites is a fine family-oriented brand and is great for that family on the road.

After settling in for a few days I brought this up to the front desk, they told me that my room's TV had a maintenance order placed on August 8. Therefore, even though they were aware that this TV was broken when I checked in, they nevertheless gave me this room. Two days later, they promised to contact their technician and have him come fix it. He didn't arrive for two days. After tinkering with the TV for about thirty minutes, he stated he would return in about an hour because he needed to get a new remote. I told him that I had to go to work, so it was okay for him to come in and finish mending it. When I got off work the following morning, I was shocked to see that the TV was still inoperable. I made yet another call to the front desk. They said they will send him back to make the necessary repairs. Another day passed. I called the front desk once more. They stated he arrives at nine o'clock. It is now 4:30 PM on that current day. I am currently on the eleventh day of my twenty-night stay, halfway across the country in a foreign place, and the only entertainment available in my room is my cell phone; I am unable to watch the local news. I am unable to watch sports or any of my favorite TV shows. Since I don't have all of my accommodations and there isn't a sense of urgency to receive them--at the absolute least, I should be transferred to a different room--I feel like the staff is ignoring me. Additionally, I should have been informed when I checked in that there was no working TV in this room. I feel like the staff is ignoring me. Since I don't have all of my amenities and there isn't a sense of urgency to receive them. At the absolute least, I should be given a different room. Additionally, I should have been informed when I checked in that there was no working TV in this room. I shouldn't have to call them every day to remind them that this TV still needs to be fixed. I am really dissatisfied with this business and my stay here. They don't seem to take their guests' needs seriously. I definitely will be bringing up my experience and concerns with my company who has done a lot of business with this hotel in the past.

This is about 20min drive from the downtown but just a could exits away from the airport and rental car. They offer free shuttle to/from the airport between 4.30am to midnight and free breakfast everyday. Breakfast was pretty decent with some hot foods and cereal, fruit, pastry etc. On my last day, I checked out at 4.30 am and even though breakfast was not open then, the lady at the counter offered me to grab fruit or pastry from the kitchen area which was very nice of them. There's also Waffle house and Ruby Tuesdays next door which is convenient if you want to grab a late night meal although the hotel also has 24/7 restaurant available. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. I didn't get to try the pool or gym but overall had a good stay here.

The staff were friendly and always smiling; they made me feel welcome and well taken care of while I was here.
