And I feel very blessed to have a primary care doctor who is smart, reasonable, well informed and caring. Thank you Dr Gamson! The staff at Skagit Regional Clinics is always very friendly and understanding. My favorite feature of the clinics is that urgent care has a wait time posted at all times. You can also check the urgent care wait time online. I think this is such a great idea, because I've been to other clinics and waited hours, but at least here you know when you're going to have to wait! The occupational medicine clinic is in the same office as the urgent care. I had to get a TB test for work and I called over a DOZEN clinics in the Whatcom and Skagit counties. The other clinics I called they said they didn't do TB testing OR they wanted me to become a new patient and go through a routine checkup first. I was shocked at how hard it was to find a local place to get a TB test done- until I called Skagit. They said to come in anytime before 4pm on Monday-Wednesday, which was so wonderful and flexible. My TB test was fast and easy! Again- even though the clinic was very busy, the staff were cheerful and considerate of my time! I love this clinic and I'll be going back here for any of my urgent care needs from now on!

Rare is it now that I can see my primary Doctor the same day, week or even the same month. I believe that most us being sick are grumpy and just want to feel better right away, I believe that leads to unfair reviews of this clinic. I drive from Anacortes many times over the years that Peace Health has run this clinic and have always had great care that handled any issue my wife or I have come to them with. As for people hating that someone may have gotten seen prior to them that arrived after them, we all need to understand priority is going too those with Heart or breathing issues. I think once we all understand this, we would want it so and should not just judge. Heads up, double check and make sure when you get a test preformed at the hospital in Sedro Woolley. That they are doing the one your doctor has ordered.
