No trip to Creemore is complete without a visit to the Creemore Strings. They offer tours as well as generous samples. If you're there in October, be sure to see what they have on the go for Octoberfest!

Great example of a small town brewery done the way it should be - warm, friendly and inviting. The tours themselves are on the hour every hour and free, the fact of it being free is a great touch but what makes it even better is that you also get free beer samples! I don't know if i need to say anymore then free beer, that alone is enough to make a trip there worthwhile but on top of that the staff here are extremely nice and really make for that small town experience. Just don't try to steal any of the beer kegs, they keep the full ones at the back! typical.

Its a really clean place from the shop to the actual brewery itself. The tour is free, you get 3 free samples and you can also buy their beer glass which Max is 20oz for $7. You also can purchase beer soap, hats, sweaters (for both men and women), and t-shirts for (both men and women). I actually LOVED the entire experience. I'm a non-drinker myself, but to actually witness first hand how they create the beer and the entire history behind it was really cool. Our tour guide was also exceptionally knowledgeable about the entire brand, and the beer making process. You can also buy the Creemore beers in the store, however the Mad & Noisy Orange Pale Ale .... I believe only a selected few of LCBO stores actually carry it. I go to Georgetown and Brampton pretty often, and when I do go to LCBO - I've never seen it there...so I'd recommend buying that in the Creemore Brewery if you decide to visit.

The space is really nice but I'm just not a fan of their beers - they don't have a ton of variety and there wasn't anything that made me go "gotta buy that". I will say staff was SO accommodating and your flight is free (for 3 samples). It wAs also a Sunday where they are supposed to close at 4...we were there until 5! And they never said anything - very kind

We stopped in here on our way home and it was a well-needed break. They offer 3 complementary samplers of their beers. They were just enough to get a good idea of their selections. We didn't stay very long, nor did we go on the tour, but the staff was friendly and it was a perfect stop in an adorable, little town. We'll have to come back in the summer.

Trying free samples at the bar.

After visiting a number of local breweries I have to say the Creemore Brewery comes out on top for me thus far. I had the pleasure visiting this weekend for the first time and can say that me and my partner were happy with our overall visit. The fact that they offer 3 decent sized samples per person and a free tour every hour should also be highly sought after as reasons to visit. I'll definitely be back again!

Must visit if you're in the area. We were a bit too late for the tour so the staff gave us come background on the brewery and 3 samples each. Their bottle shop is fully stocked with single cans or multi-packs if you want to take your favourite brew home.

Over the last few years I have enjoyed "staycationing" and discovering all of the unique and…read moresometimes overlooked experiences close to home. I recently had an opportunity to participate on a guided walking tour with Midland Food Tours, where I experienced three flavour-filled hours of sampling, sipping, shopping and strolling at 8 stops in the downtown Midland area. This walking tour, available on Fridays and Saturdays, is an enjoyable way to experience Georgian Bay life through the eyes of a local, while enjoying delicious food, drink and storytelling. On this tour, participants sample food at unique local small businesses (half of which opened during COVID), and learn the stories of the owners and their establishments. While on the tour, owner Kelly also shares stories of the area's rich history and culture, providing food tour guests with a unique and insightful local experience, including the history behind some of downtown Midland's 40+ murals. Although one could certainly visit these stops independently, this food tour is unique in that it really highlights the people and stories behind the town and businesses featured on the tour, providing a behind the scenes, up close and personal experience. Whether a local staple or a new business, each of the establishments on the tour offer their own unique recipes, signature dishes, flavours and stories. Kelly also offers a Georgian Bay driving food tour where participants spend three to five self-guided hours visiting and samping food and drink at 7 the best local purveyors while driving picturesque winding roads and taking in postcard-worthy views of Georgian Bay from the comfort of their own vehicle.

Our tour ended up just being our own group and felt like we were on a private experience which elevated the whole affair. Even though we did have two locals with us, they had not visited any of the sites that we went to so it was a new and wonderful experience for all. The restaurants we visited were excellent with plenty of seating and no waits. The tour felt like it was a well-oiled production and Jessica seemed to be familiar with the staff at each location. Another bonus was that she set the pacing exactly to our needs when accounting for the inclusion of a 2-year old. This was an awesome way to learn about the culinary scene and its integration with the history of Toronto, which also made the tour more interesting and educational. We had not known that Toronto was such an eclectic food scene, but after the tour could definitely see why it is such a competitive place to open a restaurant. Jessica was an awesome guide and a generally fun person to hang out with. We bonded over our love not only of food but of travel and swapped stories about various places we had been. Interestingly, she was able to make a recommendation for an upcoming trip that we were taking to Austin, Texas about another (unrelated) food tour which we actually did end up booking and was also awesome. She also provided some additional recommendations for more places in Toronto for our group to visit during the trip which was very appreciated! Overall, I would highly recommend this food tour and specifically our guide Jessica to anyone looking to explore the Toronto food scene in more depth and detail!

I also appreciated the chance to grab a few souvenirs at the market and get photos taken by Sam. This was a really good value and the best deal I found for a Toronto food tour. I would definitely do an urban tour again!
