I have not been to the brewery so this review is strictly on their beer. I had a few of their Premium Lager on tap from a restaurant in Ottawa Baton Rouge, great beer with my steak, really good lager on tap! After dinner it was too late to hit the beer store so I took some tall cans back to the hotel from the restaurant and I really enjoyed them also. Great refreshing taste. No bad after taste like some craft lagers just all around great beer! Definitely one of my go to Lagers in Ontario now for sure. Hopefully I'll be able to check out the brewery on one of our trips back east. read more

Great example of a small town brewery done the way it should be - warm, friendly and inviting. The tours themselves are on the hour every hour and free, the fact of it being free is a great touch but what makes it even better is that you also get free beer samples! I don't know if i need to say anymore then free beer, that alone is enough to make a trip there worthwhile but on top of that the staff here are extremely nice and really make for that small town experience. Its a really clean place from the shop to the actual brewery itself. The tour is free, you get 3 free samples and you can also buy their beer glass which Max is 20oz for $7. You also can purchase beer soap, hats, sweaters (for both men and women), and t-shirts for (both men and women). I actually LOVED the entire experience. I'm a non-drinker myself, but to actually witness first hand how they create the beer and the entire history behind it was really cool. Our tour guide was also exceptionally knowledgeable about the entire brand, and the beer making process. You can also buy the Creemore beers in the store, however the Mad & Noisy Orange Pale Ale .... I believe only a selected few of LCBO stores actually carry it. I go to Georgetown and Brampton pretty often, and when I do go to LCBO - I've never seen it there...so I'd recommend buying that in the Creemore Brewery if you decide to visit. read more

The space is really nice but I'm just not a fan of their beers - they don't have a ton of variety and there wasn't anything that made me go "gotta buy that". I will say staff was SO accommodating and your flight is free (for 3 samples). It wAs also a Sunday where they are supposed to close at 4...we were there until 5! We stopped in here on our way home and it was a well-needed break. They offer 3 complementary samplers of their beers. They were just enough to get a good idea of their selections. We didn't stay very long, nor did we go on the tour, but the staff was friendly and it was a perfect stop in an adorable, little town. We'll have to come back in the summer. read more

I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, but when travelling to Collingwood from Toronto it is literally a 10 minute detour and we're glad we stopped. I might even say this might be a 3 star tasting room, but the fact is that the 3 samples provided in a flight were free, so thats probably worth a 4th star. And they have a patio so in the sense of a place to stop in and try a few beer samples outdoors before continuing on the adventure was worth it. You'll get to choose from the standard Creemore brands of the lager, Lot 9 pilsner, and likely whatever seasonal (Kellerbier or Altbier) and then the Mad & Noisy side project brands as well. These can then be bought from their bottleshop. They also mention Batch (which is their downtown Toronto brewpub) at the tasting bar but didn't actually have any of their beers on tap which was a bit disappointing. read more

Creemore is a beautiful town filled with lovely people, solid restaurants and delicious beer. It is definitely worth the drive to go to the brewery, and they do offer free samples...my only complaint is that the tour times do not always coincide with when they are doing the tour. I went with 5 people once and we were told to wait for 20 minutes until the posted time for the tour in case other people wanted to do it also. Then we waited another 25 minutes at which point I gave up and left. Luckily, a different visit gave me the opportunity to tour the facilities. I have been on a few brewery tours and always find them interesting. This one didn't disappoint, though it is a very small brewery so it isn't a long tour. I recommend trying to do a tour but if you have to wait to do one, just buy a case of beer or perhaps some Creemore merchandise and head somewhere to enjoy them. read more

I had the pleasure visiting this weekend for the first time and can say that me and my partner were happy with our overall visit. Tasty times at the Creemore brewery. It's not a particularly large storefront and I would have expected more selection in their fridge but I like that you can buy stuff in an 8 pack for relatively cheap. There are taps for taste testing and if we'd had more time I believe we could have taken a tour of the place. From the shop you can see the brewery floor but it would have been nice to get down and see everything for myself. read more

This little town in the middle of the Niagara escarpment is so cute and a real treasure. Good food from all kinds of places from pubs to French cuisine. Love this place. It's a small but very well put together brewery in the quaint town of Creemore. We called ahead and put ourselves on the list for a brewery tour. I also told them I was travelling with my dog, but they said she couldn't come inside, but I could tie her to the patio quickly, and one of the girls up front would keep an eye on her, which I'm very glad for. They even gave my dog some water, in case she got thirsty. The brewery tour was quick (15-20 mins) but informative and they have a bar where you can get samples of beers after. They were very generous with the pours as well, and I got to try their entire lineup of available beers. There's a small gift shop and a few fridges where you can buy beer as well. I really enjoyed my time here. read more

You cant get any better when you are provided generous tastes of each of the bevies in a spacious relaxing atmosphere in character with the village. They offer the freshest recently brewed take away plus logo wear souvenirs. They are not providing food at this time so it's not fair to rate them against "Restaurants" as they are an "Experience Tourism Destination" and we are grateful to have them in the Village. They DO allow you to bring in food from Mill Street Pub across the street to enjoy the patio just a window away from the samples. They definately know how to throw a good party! Let me first start out by saying we by no means expect anyone to roll out the red carpet everywhere we go. But being pleasant and being respected is a must. Terrible customer service. We walked in 30mins prior to the tour and all employees didn't acknowledge our existence with a hello or at least a smile. We wrote our names on the guest registry. Since our tour didn't start for a while we directed to the bar next door. That was the extent their courtesy. Walking a couple mins prior to the tour we went to taste the beer. My friend innocently asked what the difference was between their 5 selections. The bartender sarcastically snickered "A lot" and never elaborated. Just blankly starred back at her. My brother-in-law innocently went to ask the seemingly busy cashier about the tour. But again her refusal to acknowledge him left him waiting until he initiated the interaction. These people could simply not be bothered by the people they served. We refused the tour after our 30min drive from Collingwood. Too bad we actually thought this would be a cool thing to do. So people going to Blue Mountain, stay in the village. It will save you the small town attitude when you venture elsewhere. This happened multiple times throughout our visit. People in the village are far more friendly and have a sense of customer service. read more

Great experience. We were on our way to a hiking trail when we decided to drop into the town of Creemore. We didn't know the brewery was serving free samples this day so we were glad we dropped in! We tried every brew they had on sample and it was great! We just finished our meal at Creemore kitchen and this was a great finisher before we head to our trail. Great friendly service and great people to talk to. The beer was delicious and will drop again when we are near by. read more

In the past, whenever we would take a holiday in the Georgian Bay area, a stop at the brewery in Creemore was always part of the tour. Nice people, good beer, and we would always buy a six-pack to take home. This year, it was obvious that there had been a change in staff. Worst. Service. Ever. We walked in as a few people were leaving, but otherwise the place was empty except for two employees. They were talking to each other, didn't acknowledge us as we walked in. One of the women picked up some six-packs of empty bottles and promptly disappeared, so I'll be charitable and assume that she was actually a plant worker visiting the (only) person running the shop. The other woman had a Fedex delivery guy arrive at that time to drop off one package and pick up one package. She then proceeded to chat with him the entire rest of the time we were there. We checked the fridge to see if there was something we were interested in buying/tasting (there was). We looked at some of the merchandise to see if there was something we were interested in (there was). We waited for 10-15 minutes at the sampling bar and was completely ignored. No "just a minute, I'll be right with you", or "the person who serves should be back soon", not even a hello. After wasting 15-20 minutes, we left. I doubt she even noticed. As both a person who grew up in a small town not that far away , and as a person who works in customer service, I was appalled at the poor manners displayed - especially when you consider that a person in her position is a representative for both the company and the town.
