Classic Crepe with white chocolate and kinder

Amazing place. We love going there. Great variety of options, able to personalize your crepe whatever way you want, and the people that work there are incredibly generous. They want to make sure they serve you something delicious and go above and beyond.

Spotted this crepe shop on my way to get my bubble tea fix and decided to give it a try. They have DIY crepes and specialty crepes and ice cream available to choose from. We got kinder all the way which comes with ice cream. You get to choose any ice cream flavor you would like. And sampling is available too. Indoor seating is also available, providing both dine in and take out options. The crepe was thin and so chocolaty! A combination of Nutella, milk chocolate, white chocolate, and 2 kinder Bueno on it. I would totally recommend this if you're a big chocolate lover! P.S. You might feel your arteries clogging afterward. But it's worth it!

This is the Buckeye Ice Cream with the classic waffle balls.

We found this place on Yelp and are so glad we decided to go there! The food and service was outstanding. There are so many different things to choose from that it's hard to pick just one treat! The ice cream was very good. The waffle balls were absolutely excellent! We added Nutella, peanut butter, pistachio and bananas. The workers there were very friendly, helpful and patient while we were trying to decide what to get. They even added strawberries and a bottle of water on the house. It is a little pricey, but it is well worth it! There are booths to sit inside and the atmosphere was pleasant. We are definitely planning on going there again soon and plan on making this one of our favorite places to frequent when we come to the area again!

You will then fill out your own order/waiter ticket and bring it to the counter. While you wait for your order, there are a variety of table games that you can play. There are also some local arts and crafts for sale that you can check out. I went with two crepes: the pepperoni pizza crepe and the smores crepe. Both were outstanding choices! Really, everything on the menu and at the tables around us looked great. The smores was definitely the highlight for me. Bitter Sweet is in a pink building in a really cool small town. Side note - If you're looking to get married, there are bridal shops everywhere! But even if you aren't headed to the altar, I would highly recommend Bitter Sweet and the entire area in general. It was a very cool pit stop in between soccer games.

Initially, I required some clarification on their process - have a seat, look at the menu, fill out your own ticket, bring the ticket to the counter and grab a drink if you put it on your ticket. Then, your food comes out and is brought to you when it's ready and you go back to the counter to pay before you leave.... Basically it's just fast casual style. The initial entry is a bit confusing and cluttered, but the dining area is nice and open.

Taste of Belgium is a great choice for almost any meal!…read more The restaurant is fun with a playful atmosphere, colorful decor, and a generous seating plan broken up by a wrap around bar in the center. It is relaxed and informal, for sure. Famous for their waffles, I had to have one! I opted for the fried chicken and waffle and was not disappointed! It may look a little small, but it was filling and flavorful. The drink menu wasn't overly long or complicated, but there were several great options. Our server was top notch! She handled our table of 8 (no waiting at dinner, BTW) with ease!

Not going to lie. Everything on the menu looked extremely delicious and extremely creative so it was hard to make a choice here. Garden Salad - Added some Grilled Chicken to the salad and it was actually quite a good one. Ingredients were all fresh and went really well together. Didn't even need to add much dressing to it. Eckerlin goetta - We ordered this on the side because its one of the must try items in Cincinnati. Quite a unique flavor and texture, but actually something I would recommend trying. The Fried Chicken went believeably well with that Waffle. No wonder it's one of the popular dishes! The biggest highlight for me was that waffle. I don't know what it was with that waffle but it was a different type of Belgian waffle which was dense and cakey with a little bit of sugary crust outside and it was so so so beautiful. I noticed that they sell some waffles to go as well and little gift bags and that ready would be a nice thing to take for home or even to give someone. Could not recommend this food more! Only reason I'm taking off a point here is the service was extremely slow. We had to call them a couple times to add something on and had to actually follow up and ask where it was. Same thing with asking for an extra waffle where they just took so long even though it was quite a simple thing to bring out.

I came here because research for our Cincy food tour brought me re: the waffles and crepes…read more We were just in Belgium for about a week in the spring and you can feel confident that we became very qualified in the field of Belgian waffles during this time. We ordered their strawberries and crème waffle which is served on a Liege waffle. Actually, it would seem from our visit that liege waffles are the only thing they serve here. It's fortunate because they are quite good. Anyway, the liege waffle was cooked very well. It has some crisp/caramelized edges with a nice, soft, and warm interior. The waffle tasted so good I would happily eat that shit plain. The strawberries and cream were a nice touch but the cream was on the light side and collapsed pretty quickly. I unintentionally ended up with a cream sleeve by just being in the vicinity. We saw a vegetarian savory crepe and felt that would pair well with the sweet waffle. We ordered this and had high expectations. I will admit I am much less of a crepe connoisseur than a Belgian waffle connoisseur so take this with a grain of salt but the crepe was WAY overdone. It was literally hard to the point that the plastic cutlery provided didn't stand a chance to cut into this thing. It made it very hard to eat, we pretty much ended up eating stray roasted peppers and spinach rather than properly between the crepe layers. This was quite disappointing and most certainly not something to write home about nor write regarding a highlight of the city's food scene, not to be a dick. GF speculated that the person making the crepe seemed to be distracted with many other tasks due to what seemed like understaffing. Something for the owners to think about if it affects the quality of their product but what do I know? The waffle was excellent, would skip the crepes.
