I think considering its in like downtown right by the banks, the prices weren't too bad. They have an upstairs seating area and a nice selection of sweet treats. I stopped by here while waiting for the bus back, i think the next time i pop by, ill be getting the rainbow crepe or the acai bowl/waffle sticks. I thought the build your own would be cheaper comapred to the menu crepes but it was in fact, not lol. Not unless you only get Nutella, maybe. Anyways the crepe itself was p good, would recommend.

Canr came here after having a really good recommendations from a friend and the place really lived…read moreup to the hype. Husband and I got a salad and the chicken and waffle plate. Not going to lie. Everything on the menu looked extremely delicious and extremely creative so it was hard to make a choice here. Garden Salad - Added some Grilled Chicken to the salad and it was actually quite a good one. Ingredients were all fresh and went really well together. Didn't even need to add much dressing to it. Eckerlin goetta - We ordered this on the side because its one of the must try items in Cincinnati. Quite a unique flavor and texture, but actually something I would recommend trying. The Fried Chicken went believeably well with that Waffle. No wonder it's one of the popular dishes! The biggest highlight for me was that waffle. I don't know what it was with that waffle but it was a different type of Belgian waffle which was dense and cakey with a little bit of sugary crust outside and it was so so so beautiful. I noticed that they sell some waffles to go as well and little gift bags and that ready would be a nice thing to take for home or even to give someone. Could not recommend this food more! Only reason I'm taking off a point here is the service was extremely slow. We had to call them a couple times to add something on and had to actually follow up and ask where it was. Same thing with asking for an extra waffle where they just took so long even though it was quite a simple thing to bring out.

My group of three had a reservation at 10 am before heading over to Findlay Market. We ordered the…read morelox and waffle, smoked salmon benedict, and strawberry crepe. I enjoyed my lox and waffle which included an egg, pieces of smoked salmon on top of a belgian waffle and a salad on the side. However, both my friend and I thought the waffle was hard and dense. She was not a fan of her benedict as it had salmon spread instead of actual salmon and she found it to be overall salty. My other friend also did not enjoy her crepe which had a mountain of whipped cream, very little strawberries, and a doughy crepe. We saw a number of tables nearby order the latte that had a waffle on top which looked cute. Overall, although I was satisfied with my meal, my friends were not.

I attended the Belgian Communal Feast at Taste of Belgium, and it was probably one of the best…read moredinner experiences I have had (again). Even though this was delayed due to weather (the original date was earlier in February), the staff at ToB was super communicative and let me know that my reservation would carry over to the next date. The food was amazing - Belgian meatballs, mussels provencale and bolo - I mean....wow. I don't even like mussels and I couldn't get enough of these. Each of the foods were so perfectly crafted for the feast and had such an amazing story behind why it was a featured dish. Then came the chicken and waffles...flight. I mean - how much more perfect can you get? Iconic ToB waffles and chicken? Chef's kiss! To make the night even more incredible, we got to meet with Jean-François who told us stories and gave us pairing recommendations that were top notch. The communal feast was an amazing way to spend the evening at a restaurant that truly is one of the best places in Cincinnati.

A Cincy classic so you know on my trip I had to stop by…read more... TOB is a delicious breakfast restaurant... but also somehow also has great dinner too! They do it all! For starters I ordered the waffle latte!!! Very maple tasting with a cute little Belgium waffle as garnish- so cute!! For breakfast/brunch I ordered (& shared) the Breakfast Plate- perfect for two if you aren't too hungry - eggs w/ cheese - sourdough toast - crispy potatoes - bacon - and of course a side of goetta (we are in Cincy after all) Everything was delicious and sometimes a classic breakfast is what you need!!!!!! My friends got the McWaffle & Southwest waffle - both had no complaints except a McWaffle might get ya a little dirty since the sandwich is so stuffed.... But no worries you do get a fork to eat up the fallen food I will always recommend this cincy favorite for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!!!!!! Can't wait to be back!!!

Nothing like a restaurant that makes good food and drinks. Cedar was no exception as they executed…read moreboth. Ivy was the server who provided some great recommendations. The Goetta is a regional dish popular to the area comprised of sausage and potato fried like a smash burger. It was packed full of flavor and was nice and crispy. A must get was the biscuit and gravy. Unlike the southern style which is usually thick and creamy, this has amazing seasoning, plenty of the sausage crumble, and rich texture. The biscuit underneath was soft and savory and paired very well in this dish. The filet and eggs were perfectly cooked and had good flavor. There were a lot of diced potatoes on the plate to enjoy which was also well seasoned and crispy. Lastly the big easy omelette was very good. I do like the fact it was plated on top of a piece of toast. The biscuit and gravy along with the omelette gave a very strong New Orleans feeling. The cocktails also hit their mark. Local distillery Riff was the maker of the bourbon for the mule. I'm not sure of their lineup but it compared to Bulleit Bourbon. Very stable in the cocktail without being overpowering. The hard truth was a coffee with a punch and a great way to start a vacation morning. The restaurant was deceptively large from its outward appearance. There is lots of seating available and the tables moved swiftly. The large garage style doors allowed for full fresh air circulation and opens the brightness from the natural lighting. Being a corner location they were able to maximize on the opened interior dining experience. Overall 4.7 out of 5
