First time having crepes here. For starters did not like the attitude the lady had when she told me the coupon on yelp was expired. Really? If you had any idea how to run a business you'd just honor it. Started with a French onion soup, before she was done handing me my card she already had the soup. No bread or croutons just French onion broth with a little bit of mozzarella inside not even melted on top. The crepes were good but she didn't make them a young man did. The Mexi crepe...where have you been??? You know...I am not really big with crepes but my sister insisted we try this place out and well let's just say she converted me! The menu offers multiple options, some healthy, and different sizes. You order and get to see them make your food which for some odd reason appeals to me very much. The ingredients look as fresh as they taste, everything is super clean, and the staff is very friendly. The place itself is small but I think it is the perfect size for what they make. One day i showed up 40 minutes before closing time and as I approached the store they slammed the door in my face and told me they were closed. As I entered, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. I got a menu and I asked the chef for a recommended crepe and was impressed by the selection of sweet and savory crepes available. Even though I could tell he was busy, he took his time to explain the menu and the most popular choices. I chose the Triple Treat and was not disappointed! I don't know if they prepare them in advance or if they order pre-made crepes. I wish the crepe was fresh and not just rewarmed on the skillet. That would have made the crepe much more scrumptious. I decided to try a sweet crepe and enjoy the whole flavour experience. This was a mistake. The French do not skimp of seasoning food whether with spices or sugars. We went today and had the combo offered on Tuesdays and Thursday's where you can get a small crepe, a small dessert crepe and a medium drink for $9.95 but the medium drink is actually a really small foam cup and you are not allow refills. I've been back a few times and although on the pricey side (reason it lost a star) it's in a convenient location for me to fill a crepe craving. The inside is adorable with a French themed decor that borders on "cheesy", but that's why I love it! It's perfect for date nights and removes you from the typical Miami vibe.
