I had the French Onion Soup combo with three cheese and ham sandwich with French fries. The French onion soup was so delicious and the right amount seasoning. It was like I was back in Paris at a little cafe. The sandwich was served on half banquet with Brie, goat cheese and Swiss Cheese toasted the perfection with French fries. My wife also sandwich combo with carrot soup, the soup was amazing. She had the Mediterranean Tune premium yellow fin canned tuna mixed with chopped olives, onions, pesto and tomatoes and toasted on half banquet with very delicious salad. Absolutely loved this place! Was instantly transported back to Paris, it is small but mighty. My favorite thing about Paris is their breakfast culture especially the baguettes with butter and jam--and they did it right! I did the breakfast baguette which includes 2 scrambled eggs with 2 toppings (I got mushroom and spinach) , a baby baguette which was so cute and good, and fresh fruit. I also got an iced coffee with was really strong! To go , I got a bag of their almond croissants which were the best I ever had. So much creamy almond paste inside. Service was quick and friendly. What a great find!!! I had taken my dad for some tests at Baptist early on a Saturday and wanted to get breakfast. Found this gem on google and so glad I did. It's a beautiful little cafe with excellent service, although they had a note advising they were short staffed, the young couple was keeping up and doing a great job! We picked up a couple of croissants and tea. I have to say that the almond croissant was the best I've ever had!!!! I woke up craving an authentic French breakfast, a baguette with jam and butter. I got up and searched until I found this spot. Upon walking in, the smell of freshly made croissants and pastries hits you. It smells so delicious and fresh. I started wondering if I should order more than I came in to get. I sat down and saw that breakfast is only served until noon. I was a little sad, but it gave me a reason to explore the menu and order many other items. I went with a cappuccino, the lunch half sandwich and soup, and frites. For the sandwich I opted with the Cajun chicken on a baguette, and for the soup I ordered a French onion soup. The meal was completely spectacular! I not only will be back, I will be bringing my family and friends. I absolutely love the authenticity, the food, how small and cozy it is, and the feel. I love smelling the pastries and food as it's being prepared and hearing the staff converse in French. It's definitely my kind of place. Although I didn't get to try their pastries I will be back. I've read great things about them, and their co cord cake. It seems like a great gift for an occasion like Mother's Day, etc but keep in mind that they sell out because they take pre orders days in advanced. P.s. Always upbeat, but real, they don't put on fake smiles. There was one time I was waiting outside the restaurant for a table. I had entered and requested a table and waited accordingly, when a table was freed up two rude men cut in front and sat at my table. The server told them that I was in front of them and they started to yell out that they had been waiting for "an hour". I remember how profesional the server acted. He stood firmly while never losing his temper even in the face of such abuse. The two men were yelling in his face as if he had run over their dog. The server composed himself very well, better than I would have when I was server back in the day. We came to this exact spot a few years ago and needless to say it was unremarkable and therefore we never returned. We recently heard there had been a change in management and that it had improved. It really has! There was a lovely French gentleman who I assume is the new owner/ manager and he was very polite and efficient. Curiously and very UN-Americanly they had just one red and one white wine which I always find works well for small cafes like this. The white was a Sancerre which I was very pleased with because it isn't a readily found varietal in American restaurants. We had the steak frites and warm goat cheese salad - both awesome! We indulged in some desserts as well and the Choux de Creme was pretty fantastic. We will go back a number of times I expect. We had a lovely lunch for a reasonable price. read more

What a wonderful experience we had at Cafe Bonjour. I loved this place so much for the following reasons: Amazing variety of pastries. Wonderful prices. Seating area outside with a couple of tables. Warm and Phenomenal customer service. We ordered their famous chocolate cake, their almond croissant, their puffy cake with sugar on top, and coffee latte. If I tell you that everything was on point you won't believe me, but it WAS!!! I have been looking for delicious coffee shops and this is one of them. The service was exceptional as they were always taking care of us and making sure we order and we got everything we needed since we didn't wanna stay there. I'd like to order and leave as I eat to eat it outside at a park. The croissant was crispy and so moist on the inside. The coffee was made to perfection just the way I like it without me even telling them how to. And the cake... yes you might think $10 for a piece of cake is too much but it's not. My mom and sister had a couple of cappuccinos each so I'd say they were good and the orange juice was fresh squeezed. This little cafe is super cute. We stumbled upon this cafe on our way to the beach. Upon arrival, the woman (may have been the owner) greeted us and was very friendly. We decided to eat inside and ordered scrambled eggs, fresh brewed ice tea, and two orders of French toast for the kids. There was a bit of a wait due to a big order that had come in and we were made aware before hand. The waiter came by and brought my boys a crossaint for the wait. I thought that was really nice. TURNED ME AWAY AT THE DOOR! I came in with the intention of grabbing a menu to placing a to go order, I have a small 3 month old puppy that can't be left in the car alone so I was carrying him in my arms. The waiter gave me the green-light to come inside and my place the order. The owner immediately charged towards me, and ordered me to leave. I tried explaining that I was just there to place a to go order and my puppy and I could go wait outside but he REFUSED to communicate with me . I asked if you could sit outside and place my order but he REFUSED to sit me at the outdoor seating. He spoke to be in an awful tone, which even caused his workers to try to intervene to calm him down. Showing hospitality to guest with pets might be a good business strategy if you're business is next to a petco. read more
