    Breakfast baguette
    Lauren N.

Absolutely loved this place! Was instantly transported back to Paris, it is small but mighty. My favorite thing about Paris is their breakfast culture especially the baguettes with butter and jam--and they did it right! I did the breakfast baguette which includes 2 scrambled eggs with 2 toppings (I got mushroom and spinach) , a baby baguette which was so cute and good, and fresh fruit. I also got an iced coffee with was really strong! To go , I got a bag of their almond croissants which were the best I ever had. So much creamy almond paste inside. Service was quick and friendly. I just wish they had a little more seating.

A Little Taste of Paris in South Miami! Café Bonjour is truly a hidden gem tucked away in South Miami. From the moment you step in, you're transported to a quaint Parisian café--charming, cozy, and filled with the soft melodies of French music. The ambiance and decoration are absolutely delightful, with a warm and inviting feel that makes you want to linger a little longer. The food? Magnifique! The French omelet was perfectly cooked--light, fluffy, and full of flavor. The fresh baguette was just as you'd find in a Paris boulangerie--crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. The almond croissant was out of this world, buttery and delicate, with the perfect amount of sweetness. And don't even get me started on the hot chocolate--rich, velvety, and deeply satisfying. Thank you, Café Bonjour, for such a fabulous breakfast experience. We felt truly spoiled and can't wait to come back very soon. Vive le petit-déjeuner à la française!

This south Miami gem is a great place for breakfast or lunch. Their lunch special was a cup of delicious vegetables accompanied by a ham sandwich with cheese. Service was great and very amicable. Our server came often to refill our water cups and provided plenty of options for desserts. We stuck to a simple, but delicious chocolate chip cookie. The place was clean and welcoming, albeit small. But, that's the beauty of a French styled bistro. Reasonably priced, will certainly return.

The Pecan cookie was delicious and one of my favorite things here. The croissant was good like any croissant . The Chocolate cake is more like a flourless cake with the consistency of mouse. I personally wasn't a fan of it. Everything here is freshly made and delicious, although expensive.

Overall: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Stopped by for a late breakfast and was not disappointed. I had received several recommendations to visit and glad I finally made the time. It was very busy but we were seated immediately. I ordered the scrambled egg baguette sandwich with tomato and spinach -- delicious! I also ordered a small American coffee. Overall, would definitely visit again with friends. One thing I appreciated about this French bakery is the fact that there is ample seating indoors AND outdoors, so it's not just standing room only. I finished my baguette too soon to take a photo but did snap a photo of the cakes on display. Great spot and would come again soon!

El lugar es bueno en general. Pero el cake de chocolate es algo de locos. Es uno de los mejores cakes que me he comido en la vida...

Another excellent brunch at Café Bonjour. I come mainly to pick up the cream puffs and always end up eating while I am there. The interior is very small, and are also a couple of tables outside. The staff are quick to assist. My favorite thing is the French onion soup. They also have wonderful quiche and sandwiches.

This is my favorite little breakfast spot in the area. It feels so home-y inside with just a few tables but very attentive staff. The food is delicious - I always go with the breakfast sandwich & a cappuccino. If you're lucky enough to get one before they sell out, snag an almond croissant to go!

When we walked in, about four employees stared at us while we were visibly confused about whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Nobody greeted us or explained the process, so I eventually walked toward the back near the kitchen and asked, "Hi, do we seat ourselves or wait to be seated?" The response I got was simply, "Yes." ...Yes what? I had to ask again before being told we could seat ourselves, but that the kitchen would be closing in 30 minutes. Totally understandable, and we reassured them we only needed a couple minutes to look at the menu. Once seated, our server again reminded us the kitchen was closing soon, which felt a little rushed considering we were ready to order almost immediately. Then when asking whether the breakfast sandwich or the truffle egg bun was better, the response was, "I fu*k with the breakfast sandwich." Honestly, it caught me off guard a bit. The overall service throughout felt awkward, rushed, and not very polished or welcoming. We decided to go with the breakfast sandwich, and then he asked if we wanted a side salad or potatoes. We said potatoes, and also asked if the sandwich could be cut in half. He responded, "The potatoes in half?" We clarified, "No, the sandwich." Then he replied, "Ok... what side would you like?" ...The potatoes Thankfully, the food completely turned things around. We split the breakfast sandwich and it was genuinely delicious. The lattes had a much richer coffee flavor than most cafés, and the pancakes tasted homemade and fresh. For about $50 total, I left satisfied with both the quality and portion sizes. Overall: great food and drinks, but the staff interactions and overall hospitality felt oddly uncomfortable from start to finish. If the service matched the quality of the food, this place would easily be a standout.

There's no seating and no public restrooms--just a straightforward counter for takeout or picking up pre-orders. On weekends, the line definitely snakes around the building if you don't arrive early, but they keep spirits high with a flavored water dispenser and the occasional sample to tease your tastebuds. From baked goods to breads to even some savory treats, you want to check this gem out! The baked goods are a total evolution of the craft. Their filled croissants are legendary, with the Dulce de Leche and Pistachio being absolute fan favorites that live up to the hype. If you're looking for their mini croissants, just keep in mind those are made to order. However, the true star of the show is the Pavlova. It is a next-level masterpiece, but it requires a few days' notice, so make sure to plan your visit accordingly. It's a hidden Miami treasure that proves you don't need a fancy dining room when the food is this good.

When I asked if it could be fixed, the employee said she would call the manager and get back to me. About an hour later, I received a call saying the manager had decided they could not fix the cake. I was told I could either take it as is or leave it and receive only a 50% refund. There was no apology--just a very matter-of-fact "take it or leave it" response. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was not available. I then called the Wynwood location multiple times before someone finally answered. I asked to speak to a manager and was told she was busy but would call me back. She never did. When I called again, I was told the Wynwood and Sunset locations were separate, but that the manager would reach out to the Sunset manager and have her call me. Again, no one followed up. On Sunday, I called again and was told the kitchen was closed and that my only options were still to pick up the cake or leave it and receive 50% back--even though the cake was never corrected. The manager refused to speak with me directly. I ultimately picked up the cake, and not only was the color still wrong, but the cake itself was terrible in flavor. It was honestly one of the worst cakes I've ever had. The biggest disappointment, however, was the consistently poor customer service--from both the managers and the staff. As a small business, they need to do better. All that was needed was a sincere apology and a reasonable solution, such as a small discount for the inconvenience since their kitchen was closed. Instead, the entire experience was mishandled from start to finish. I don't mind paying premium prices when the product and service are worth it, but this experience failed on every level.
