It was also not ok to use the Sugar Dunes beach as they have revoked their policy to allow our condo of their beach. The policy for Beachside Villas still showed we could use their beach. We could also not leave our shoes and towels in the public beach area as it is a hazard. The condo was not clean enough or kept up enough for the amount you pay for it, especially not having the beach access as close as it is advertised. I would not stay here again. There are places along 30-a that are a little cheaper, appear much nicer, and own private beaches. the condo we stayed in had a horrible floor plan. we had 6 people in our party and we could not all be in the same room at the same time. We all felt banished to our rooms when we were all together. There are much better rentals out there and Transparency about the beaches would have been nice.

The bad reviews are people who booked through rental companies like Sandseeker, Real Joy and…read moreothers. Those companies are not always honest and rented through construction periods. Owners like myself NEVER booked guests when AV was under construction, which is now over. By going to VRBO or Airbnb direct, scroll down to the end and see who you are booking with and if it's a direct. owner, you'll have far better experiences as we care about our guests and are there for them. They have beautiful properties to choose from and I booked Tres Palms with them on Holiday Isle. I booked through VRBO back last Summer before the world fell apart with Covid 19. We were so looking forward to enjoying this wonderful property and spending quality time as a family. Unfortunately, because my one son is a police officer and my son in law is a physician, there are not allowed to take any vacation time. They are needed at work. With travel being what it is, getting there had become a challenge for me also. I needed to cancel after the allowed time for a full refund. I spoke to Willa about my situation. She couldn't have been nicer. She was empathetic to my needs and immediately helped me start the process of cancelling my trip for a full refund. She helped me with the process with VRBO also. There are still kind and generous people out there. I look forward to working with them once life goes back to something closer to normal.

Right on the beach, but also had a pool--good thing because I'm afraid to actually swim in the ocean haha! So had the best of all worlds! Condo was comfortable, had a balcony that looked out over the pool and gulf, well equipped kitchen, and I could walk to dinner (about 1.5 mile of flat, safe sidewalk) or catch a water taxi and cross to Harbor Walk where there are TONS of restaurants, shopping, water sport rentals (go Parasailing with Boogie!) Great getaway and look forward to going back!

The buildings have all been repainted, and the updated fitness center with newer equipment has made a noticeable difference. The property feels much more refreshed now. If you're looking for a quiet, adults-only getaway, this probably isn't the place for you. There are usually plenty of families and kids around, which is one of the reasons we love it--but it's something to keep in mind depending on the type of vacation you're looking for. The only other downside is that the heated pool can be hit or miss. There have been times when it wasn't working when we were hoping to use it, which can be disappointing, especially during cooler weather. Overall, Adagio is a beautiful property in an incredible location. We've been coming back for over 15 years, and that says a lot. It's a wonderful place for families, and we look forward to making many more memories here.

A…read moregroup of 10-15 unsupervised young adults took over the pool area, using racial slurs, making lewd comments toward minor girls, and aggressively confronting guests. We had to repeatedly pull our kids out of the amenities we paid to use. When management was involved, their "solutions" were useless, and it resulted in the group retaliating by targeting and staring down our family patio. We felt so unsafe we had to book a hotel elsewhere and leave early. Utter lack of security and a complete failure of customer service. Avoid.
