I can definitely say it was this meeting that saved his life. Dr. Uomoto is now his primary care physician and has been seeing him on a regular basis along with Dr. David Kattan. Together they have kept a close eye on him to make he remains in good health. Fast forward to today, Six years later once again we are here at the 8700 Beverly Blvd Location. Once again we are under wonderful and expert care. Our Journey started at the ER and eventually worked it's way through a few rooms. Eventually after full admission we ended up on the 3rd floor. Along the way there were so many individuals along the way that made me feel heard, acknowledged and like we really matter. I gave my word that I would fill out a survey and I intend on keeping that promise. A special shout out goes to Stormi. We picked up right where we Left off six years ago and she remains a safe space to express my self and ask questions. Deandre, CP - your kindness and sense of humor is well known amongst your colleagues. I wanted to feed pops but the but the swallow test you initiated caused us to confirm that he no longer had the ability to swallow. This saved so much drama and further complications . Klavdiya, RN - Your smile and knowledgeability made our life easier in the midst of a difficult time. You took your time and showed thatt you really care. We miss you already. Renevie, RN - It was a pleasure to meet and we thank you for your service. Shelley, RN Shelley Carrasco 3SW-RN We have the pleasure of honoring two wonderful "Shelley's" on today. May you both we recognized and honored for all that you do. Graciela Macias, Registration - Thank you for greeting us with a smile and asking how we were doing. Isabella D, IA & Luis Diaz, IA - You were both kind and gentle. Taking great care along the way to move the patient smoothly and safely. Special Shout out to Anthony Mc, RN - You were the first face that we meet after arriving at ER. You took immediate action to determine the severity of the situation and moved with a professionalism, courtesy and compassion that immediately assured me that we were in good hands. Heather, RN, Pink Area Lead - You were rightfully placed as the lead for this area and it was a pleasure to see your smiling face and problem solving tenacity. Jesse, Pink Area - You Sir are the man. A soon as that help light went on you were on it like white on rice. Always with a smile and a kind gentle nature. Wendy Ramirez, RN, Pink Area - From the moment you introduced yourself to each time you came by to do your rounds, your infectious smile and happy demeanor was both welcome and contagious. Special shout out to Aimee Buhat, CP - You will definitely be missed. You answered questions, brought needed items. Brett Tramont 3SW - you Sir did a wonderful job. A pleasure to talk to and always ready to help.

From day one, my oncologist and clinical team provided clear, honest guidance, taking the time to map out a precise treatment plan and answer every single question I had. The medical expertise here is world-class, but what truly sets this center apart is the physicians and nurses at the center. They turn a stressful experience into a comfortable one with their constant attentiveness, warmth, and genuine compassion. You never feel like just another chart number; they treat you like a human being.

Who likes having blood drawn for what seems like an endless barrage of tests? NOT ME!!! But...if…read moreyou find yourself on the receiving end of a phlebotomist's needle, one of the best places to be is the "Pavilion Lab Blood Draw Station." Located inside the stunning "Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion" on the campus of world-renowned Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the "Pavilion Lab Blood Draw Station" is arguably the gold standard of labs. Seriously...after having horrible experiences at other medical facilities, there is no comparison to the "Pavilion Lab Blood Draw Station." For those who experience more than average pain & discomfort during venipuncture due to various issues such as scar tissue, &/or fragile teeny-tiny "spider web veins" that love to play "hide-&-seek," then roll & completely collapse, do yourself a favour & give the "Pavilion Lab Blood Draw Station" a try. You may be pleasantly surprised. Although some of the front office staff can be a bit surly, & the wait times are sometimes nothing short of atrocious, once you're inside for the actual lab work, the level of service is excellent. When your name is called, your assigned phlebotomist will escort you to your own private room (...yes! You get a private room just for a blood draw!), where they are fully equipped to handle a multitude of scenarios with not only squeeze balls, but also heating pads, a couch, & even oxygen, if needed. The phlebotomists kindly wear masks/face-coverings to protect themselves & the patients, so that everyone (including those who are immune compromised) can feel safe & protected. They are world-class professionals who specialize in complex cases, & are very skilled, patient, compassionate, & attentive to patients' individual needs & preferences. If you're seeking a clean, safe, & sanitary lab with a high level of skill, professionalism, & compassion, visit the "Pavilion Lab Blood Draw Station." Know-Before-You-Go: * Valet parking is available in the Pavilion Parking Garage * Masks/Face-coverings required by all

As a potential…read moreorgan donor for a child, I was referred here to do bloodwork (bloodwork and testing is free for an organ donor) and had all paperwork and kits ready. They refused my paperwork and wanted me to pay out of pocket for the testing, the transplant coordinator from the referring hospital agreed to pay but greedy Cedars Sinai wanted payment BEFORE blood was drawn. This was unheard of especially since there was no guarantee they would be successful for a blood draw. What kind of hospital refuses to do organ donor bloodwork and demands payment upfront?! What if a patient didn't have means to pay thousands up front they would just turn them away? Regardless, I will go to sleep in peace knowing that STANFORD AND LUCILLE PACKARD CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL (the most reputable in the nation) will never use Cedars Sinai for their out of town organ donor patients! P.s the front desk workers and Sofia the manager were unprofessional and lacked basic human manners.

Shocking that they do not try to improve this place. It would be a simple fix. Before hiring they should definitely do a course on reviewing empathy, cultural competency. From that point on it hasn't been a very friendly or welcoming environment AT ALL. Coming from my father, a patient here for three years, who comes 3 days out of the week..EVERY SINGLE WEEK, in belief that this lady, TABITHA has his best interest in saving his life, THAT IS NOT OK. The good nurses are talked down on by TABITHA and patients sit there on edge to see stuff like this. I don't think it's rocket science in this place of business that PEOPLE ARE LITERALLY FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES, on a daily basis, and as the person who is supposed to be helping them TABITHA it shouldn't be hard to be a DECENT HUMAN BEING to your nurses and your patients especially KNOWING THAT THEIR LIVES ARE ON THE LINE. Lets not forget to mention that if it wasn't for TABITHAS patients, she wouldn't even be seeing a check. It shouldn't be hard to respectfully care for each and every patient TABITHA comes across, being that THAT IS HER JOB. My father has been in 2 incidents with this TABITHA woman, and after this last incident enough is enough. TABITHA was talking down on ELLA (who is a nurse/technician) right in front of my father AS HE WAS BEING SERVICED (VERY UNPROFESSIONAL) and he didn't feel right witnessing the technician ELLA being broken down right in front of him by someone who's clearly abusing their authority TABITHA (being that ELLA has genuinely been there for my dad since the start) and decided to speak up for her. He simply stated to TABITHA that it wasn't right for her to be coming at her employees like that as it shows no human decency and can cause a stress to the patients being serviced. TABITHA proceeds to tell my father that he shouldn't even be speaking to her or approaching her in any type of way THEN gives ELLA a write up and finally tells ELLA that it's her fault my father said anything to TABITHA at all. WHAT KIND OF "LIFE SAVING" BUSINESS IS THIS? that 1 star is because i had to choose a star to be able to write this review. 0 stars
