stayed in unit N105 for the second time. absolutely love the clean spacious unit. It host a fully equipped kitchen, four bedrooms and three baths. perfect for a family, couples, or just two people. The-master bedroom has a king size bed private bath including a jacuzzi bathtub . The unit host spectacular views of the ocean with awesome sunrise views. Coffee on the balcony with the early morning sunrise is one of my favorite things. Guest also have a nice lazy river pool , and a pool side hot tub at their disposal. Plenty of parking in the large garage for guest. I love the fact after doing shopping for food I don't have to leave the vacation home away from home! However, there is a great Irish pub within walking distance. read more

We rented a beautiful condo on the beach at the Crescent Keyes room 1110 in North Myrtle beach in August 2023. We stayed there 5days/nights for $1800. The condo was absolutely beautiful! We loved the view, beach access, all the pools, it was perfect for our family! Or so we thought.. Our major issue was COCKROACHES. The first night was great no issues the second night we woke up to multiple German Cockroaches in the kitchen and utility closet. I called North Beach Reality and was told that someone from maintenance would come spray but the palmetto cockroaches were native to the area. My husband stayed in the condo most of the day to speak with the maintenance worker to see what we should do with our own belongings. No one ever showed up. We started looking up the differences between German cockroaches and the American (palmetto) cockroaches and 100% the ones in the condo were German. The office had closed for the day, so I emailed North Beach Reality and told them that no one had came to spray. That night we left every light on in the kitchen, utility closet and dining room since they are generally nocturnal. The next morning we got up only to find more cockroaches. I checked my email and they did email back stating that someone had been there to spray but they would send someone else back out to spray again. I emailed them back letting them know that no one had been out the day before (I know for a fact they hadn't because we had placed things to see if someone had entered into the condo while we were gone). I also asked the realty company what should we do with our belongings. Their suggestion seemed like they were blowing me off, they said- "just shake out your clothes really well and keep your luggage zipped up". Our clothes were hung up and luggage was zipped but they can still travel... I am from Ohio where cockroaches are not native and are generally associated with unclean atmospheres. Bed bugs and cockroaches freak me out and I do not want to infect my own house with these. We didn't see any bugs other than in the kitchen, beside the refrigerator was a lot of roach feces. I posted pictures for you to make you're own decision on if you think it is "just" a palmetto bug. We saw with our own eyes around 20+ bugs each morning we woke up. If they sprayed wouldn't we find dead roaches? I honestly don't know how long it takes but I can tell you we didn't see any dead unless we killed them. I don't know if what we did was right but we washed literally every piece of clothing and immediately once it was removed from the dryer it was placed in a garbage bag and and tied off then duct tape around the knot. Our luggage is hard shelled so we placed it in a large trash bag with diatomaceous earth and then tied up with the duct tape. (We weren't messing around!) You would think for the $1800 it would be amazingly, perfect! And who goes on vacation only to make a $70 trip to Lowe's for cockroach killer? I was so excited for this vacation and staying in such a beautiful condo that is now completely over shadowed by the infestation. read more

Crescent Shores condo 109S is the one we stayed in it is very clean I didn't have any of the problems in the photos that we saw of the other places and we rented this for a week from condo world. The owners have a very nice taste and you're keeping it very clean and very updated. Plenty of pots and pans silverware in the cabinets. There's even a storage closet with boogie boards and golf clubs and chairs and umbrellas and send toys that you can borrow and return and put back in the closet. Do units on the first floor right above the pool looking out at the ocean. What a fabulous choice. Plenty of parking across the street. The apartment is very spacious two bedrooms two bathrooms two lovely couches and chairs and tables and high tops at the counter. Plenty of patio furniture. And I believe the owners stay here also so that's why it's in such good condition and cared for. You cannot go wrong by renting this place. read more

We used a VRBO for unit 1006. The unit itself was tastefully decorated and seemed very clean and well kept. Really enjoyed the patio furniture. The owner was very attentive to our questions. If I come back, I would definitely rent 1006. Now for the other stuff outside of our unit. I agree with other users that the lazy river is a horrible waste of space. In order to get a spot at the pool, a couple of adults had to go down first thing and get our space ( and stay there as you cannot reserve chairs). A couple of grills for an 18 story tower is not really an amenity. There are no real dining options nearby (I don't recommend the Irish Pub. Mr. G's is fine for a quick snack). No bathrooms close to the pool ;) hope the chlorine level was high. Security chose to close the pool with blue skies all around because there was a severe thunderstorm warning somewhere in the county??? Parking and unloading can be a nightmare. Be prepared to supply your own TP, paper towels, etc... Nice beach access with life guard and parasailing available. If you come, place your grocery order online and in advance for delivery. read more

Our condo was very nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was newer. The deck furniture was really nice. There was a pub table and chairs which gave you a great view while eating or reading. There were a few spots the cleaning crew missed but I always wipe down surfaces with Clorox wipe so I didn't care. The sheets and towels were thin and rough. I wish I would have brought my own. If you are a fan of the pool get there early. Our teenagers were bummed they couldn't get in. They usually go to the pool once they get off the beach. It was so packed they never could get in. One pool for 2 towers is just ridiculous. I Don't get the lazy river concept at a condo it is just kids running around with no supervision. Which means everyone is squished into one pool. We lost internet for most of one day and a few hours of another. Probably won't stay here again due to the pool and inconsistent internet. read more

Unit 210 had bed bugs. When we discovered this on day two of our Trip, we were told we had to leave our things there for 3 days and couldn't retrieve them until that time had passed. This was because they couldn't get anyone to come clean until the following day. We had to fight for our FULL REFUND, which we did eventually get thankfully. The room was very very dirty. Don't waste money here. Find somewhere else!!! read more

We stayed at Crescent Shores unit 510 the condo is very nice . It's four bedroom and four bath the only thing is one bathroom is out in the hall you have to come out of the bedroom to access the bathroom. One bedroom you can't hardly open the closet door because the bed is so close they need to consider putting in a sliding door. Other than these things it was great. I would stay again. read more

This is where we stay every time we come to Myrtle Beach. We usually rent through Condo World which has the largest offering of 4 bedroom 4 bath condos. Rooms have king size bed or two queen size beds and most are nicely decorated. Units are good sized and there is plenty of room for 11 of us. All the units are ocean front and there is a pool and lazy river outside and also a smaller indoor pool which is nice during the colder months. There are also two hot tubs which get plenty of use. This trip not everyone came so we only took a two bedroom condo. This is the first time we have come during Thanksgiving. Weather was not terrible but a little cool. Of course next week is supposed to be much warmer. Go figure! We have already booked for our summer vacation. Condos are not cheap but after looking at a lot of others we feel it's worth it. read more

We stayed in S 912 and it was filthy. The floors were gross. The bathroom has black mold. Master bedroom bed was very hard. You can tell it hasn't been deep cleaned in a long time. Some owners monitor the parking lot and harass you about where you park - very unwelcoming. It was raining outside and my husband dropped us off in front of the condo and two owners yelled at us and asked if we were coming back to move our car. My husband was still in the car and going to the garage. The lady was really rude about it. read more

If I could leave less than one star I gladly would. By far the worst vacation rental experience I've ever had. The suite was roomy and seemed nice at first glance but it was FILTHY. More than half of the dishes had dried on food that was never washed. I wish I was exaggerating but sadly 9/12 plates had visible dried food stuck to it. The front office said all of their dishes are washed by hand and if that's the case there should be no reason for filthy dishes. The front office said there's nothing they can do for me. Very unhelpful management and even worse housekeeping. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Five days into my stay and it's time to write the review. We got our unit at Crescent Shores through CondoLux. They've been fantastic so far, but the review is about the building and unit itself. So far, I'm not horribly impressed. Last year we stayed a couple miles south in the Windy Hill area of the beach. This unit is very similar in layout, which is great. The living room has plenty of space and overlooks the beach and ocean. The master bedroom is right off the living room and also has a patio door out to the balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. The granite countertops in the kitchen are a nice touch. The owners have put some care into the unit by having a large LED TV in the living room, and smaller ones in each bedroom. On the other hand, we've had a laundry list of issues with the unit. The fridge gurgles every time you shut the door. I felt better when the plumber showed up and couldn't figure it out either. The master bath toilet flushes super slow. The plumber was unable to free it up, and they'll have to come back and try again. I understand things have issues, but these have clearly gone unnoticed or, more likely, ignored by housekeeping and maintenance. The building in general has its issues too. The two elevators for our tower are not enough. Upon arrival on Saturday, the line for the elevators was around the corner. We ended up hoofing a couple bags up six flights of stairs and returned later when the line had died down. Throughout our stay, one elevator has been in and out of service. Even when both are running, it can take a long time to get a car. The pool situation is interesting. Our tower has the lazy river. The south tower has the pool. We're finding that folks staying in the north tower are using the lazy river as a pool - much to the dismay of folks trying to use it as an actual lazy river. Now, we're a reasonable group, so if kids are going to not use floats, swim in the river, and be unsupervised (all against the posted rules), I'll be okay with that if they respect me and my family. This wasn't happening. And there has been no supervision in the pool areas at all, so it gets pretty lawless. Folks are smoking and drinking IN THE POOL AND RIVER. To me, that's simply unacceptable. When we kindly asked some kids to stop splashing and shoving us, they didn't stop and became disrespectful. Eventually they left and wrangled their parents (from their condo where they weren't supervising their kids) who then came down and started yelling at us and threatening us. Nice and classy. While that's not Crescent Shores' fault, it IS on them for not having any security or supervision in their shared areas. For the money, I'd find somewhere else to stay next time. I spent way too much money to be dealing with these types of issues. If Crescent Shores wants to turn their back on the tenants, we'll find someone who cares. read more

Meh condo. We stayed in 1108. The view was good, but for me that was pretty much it that wowed me. The furniture is very dated, with many of the tables having sharp, have a bruise on my head and back from bumping into them. There was condensation through the vents which randomly dropped water on us. Bathrooms were ok, but the master bathroom's toilet sounds like something straight out of a horror movie when you flush it. Kitchen was nice. Again, sofas was dated and uncomfy, especially with the living room. The chairs outside were ok, except one made me tumble to the ground when getting into it. Bad WiFi connection too. Elevators would constantly break down, and were smaller for 18 floors worth of people. Overall, ok condo but I honestly wouldn't recommend it. read more

Great view from every room and every room has a large balcony. Roomy and pretty well maintained rooms. Fitness center was pretty nice. Lazy river, indoor and outdoor pools and a hot tub available if you don't want to be on the beach all the time. Ample parking nearby. The only down side is a very small area to park temporarily to check in and unload your car. If someone can't park properly and is taking up multiple spots, this is even worse. read more

We used VRBO to book a 4 bedroom condo, 1301 in the North Tower and 2 of the 4 bedrooms had bedbugs. The owner responded by contacting her "service" who was an older gentleman that I suspect was her husband. He came after and hour-and-a-half and vacuumed them up! At 4:00 PM on a Saturday evening we had to find accommodations for 9 people which luckily we did. The owner was unwilling to help in any way stopped responding to emails and texts. She did text the next morning stating that her "service came in overnight and sprayed chemicals and everything was ok". This was suspect. What legitimate pest control service is going to come out on a Saturday night between 8PM and 6AM to treat for bed bugs. Also, 1 treatment doesn't completely eradicate bedbugs. Bottom line is this property isn't someplace you want to stay! There are too many other properties in Myrtle Beach that would be superior! read more

Really surprised this place is rated so high, but only 6 reviews soooo... But anyways. Only 2 elevators in the entire building for I think 17 floors?? The elevators kept breaking the entire trip so most days you had 1 elevator for an entire building of people. Usually the line for the elevator was stretched into the street. The 1 parking garage elevator was down for 2 days as well. As far as the parking garages you have to park across the street and they are very tight and hard to maneuver in. The pools are disgusting looking. Cloudy and dirty. 1 day some kid puked in the pool and all they did was scrub the wall a little bit. Not to mention the pool and lazy river are super tiny and always packed. The room itself was pretty nice except for the fridge didn't work well so we had warm drinks the whole trip. If you like this place, I'm guessing you haven't stayed in many other condos in Myrtle... take my advice, this is one of the worst. Wouldn't stay here again if they paid me. read more

Where do I begin... The first day we were here, after initial room inspection we found a broken bed, and a bag of trash left in the condo. We called about the broken bed, and they said they would Put in a work order. Around 8pm that night, no one had still showed up, so we called again. They informed us that they have to contact the condo owner before they can fix it... The next day we assumed they would jump on fixing it, and at 12pm the following day we called to remind them about the broken bed. They again said they would put in a work order. It wasn't until about 11am the THIRD day that they showed up to fix it. Parking here is horrible, you have to park Across the street from the condo, in a small parking garage about 7 levels high. Then you have to cross a busy street to get in. The indoor pool looks like dirty bath water, wouldn't chance that... We were on the 17th floor, so expect to wait a good 5 minuets for one of the two elevators to get there... The room overall looked nice (room 1701) and the view was nice. If this place didn't have so many negatives on the outside then the inside would be perfect read more

First of all, let me say the condo itself is awesome. It's very clean, updated, and roomy. However, if you want to spend 1/3 of your vacation time waiting on an elevator, this is the place for you. Our family will not be coming back because of the elevator situation. The beach in front of the hotel was also very crowded and they allow people to set up personal umbrellas right in front of those that pay for umbrella rental. This is not allowed at other condos we have rented. So sad, as the condo has been our favorite so far and we've been coming for 30+ years. read more

This is probably the WORST vacation rental spot I've ever been to. Rented a 4 bedroom condo for my extended family. The office repeatedly refused to give us enough parking passes for our vehicles. The electricity in one of the bathrooms didn't work. The wifi completely stopped working the day after we arrived and was never fixed. The management turned the water off to the whole building for several hours one of the days we were there. Noisey construction going on the entire time. The whole place seemed to not be kept up very well. The condo's access to the beach was locked and/or blocked by the construction mess. Quite frankly, we were very disappointed and irritated the entire time with our experience. Definitely would not reccomend this place to ANYONE. read more

I think the best part about this place is how close it is to the ocean. When you're cooking in the kitchen and look out, all you see is the ocean. It's like you're on a cruise. Crescent Shores is all about the beach. The spacious rooms don't hurt either read more

We stayed in NORTH 403, July 9-16 The condo was SPACIOUS and well stocked with everything we needed: tons of glasses, bowls, silverware, Rubbermaid storage (for leftovers), Calphalon pots/pans, large mixing bowls, measuring cups, serving utensils, coffee maker, toaster, irons, etc.-this owner has provided it all. All 4 bedrooms had there own bathrooms, much needed when you have 12 people trying to get dressed at he same time. All the bathrooms had hand-held shower fixtures, which was a big plus for our toddler and younger kids. The condo had an oceanfront view with a huge balcony that overlooked the lazy river. The balcony was the size of two balconies, and it had a large table with 6 chairs and also had additional chairs. The owner tastefully decorated the entire condo with Tommy Bahama, it makes you feel like you're really on vacation. They really took time and spared no expense with the details. There were flat screen TVs and DVD players in every room and the living room had a huge TV. In the North building, first floor -same building as the unit there is a fitness room with 2 treadmills, 2 bikes and 2 ellipticals. read more

I really think condo world needs in invest in a new cleaning company at Crescent Shores. 2 years in a row our condo has been filthy. Counter tops were disgustingly dirty -- the rag was BLACK after we wiped them, 10 min after we checked in. The carpet was also filthy. Our clean feet were black 5 minutes after checking out the condo. We had to sweep also right after check in. The bag in the sweeper was sooooooo full it was ready to burst .... We had to change the bag ... Not the best start to a relaxing vacation. The bathrooms had black dirt in all the corners and behind the toliet looked as if it hadn't been cleaned all season. We have been coming to Myrtle for 30 years. The last 10 have stayed with condo world, last year we stayed in a different condo world condo that was filthy too. Thought it was a fluke, but this year was no better Very disappointing. We will be trying elsewhere for now on. read more
