I don't see myself as a gullible senior citizen, but apparently Crestview Cadillac does. I went into Crestview Cadillac for an oil change and new windshield wipers. Left with a $2000 lie. I initially brought my vehicle in for routine maintenance, during which the service department replaced my windshield wipers and performed an oil change and treated me well. Approximately 30 minutes after service began, I was informed that the work was complete. At that time, I was also advised that a leaking radiator had been discovered and that it required immediate attention, with a quoted repair cost of approximately $2,000. Given the vehicle's low mileage (28,000 miles) and age (five years), this diagnosis raised concern. Before authorizing the repair, I sought a second opinion from an independent, reputable automotive repair facility. At the second facility, I specifically disclosed the dealership's diagnosis and asked what they would charge for the repair. (it was nearly 25% less than Chrestview). They conducted a comprehensive inspection, including a PSI pressure test, a full visual inspection of the engine compartment, and a review of all related connections and components, a process that took around an hour. Their findings were clear: -there was no radiator leak -no system failure -no need for any radiator repair or replacement I was further informed that the vehicle was in "pristine" condition and in exceptional shape for a five-year-old car. This professional assessment directly contradicted the diagnosis provided by the Crestview service department. This situation is concerning, as it suggests either a serious diagnostic failure or the recommendation of an unnecessary repair. Either possibility undermines customer trust and raises legitimate concerns regarding service standards and quality control. I went in for a simple oil change and had one of the worst experiences at this dealership service department. This was my first time visiting Crestview Cadillac dealership. I normally go to another Cadillac dealership, but decided to try this one since it was close to my house. Ron, the service advisor, was initially welcoming and friendly, but things went downhill quickly. He mentioned that my air and cabin filters might need replacing and was going to come to the waiting room to let me know. Instead, no one ever came to the waiting room to ask me for approval, and I was automatically charged for both filters along with the oil change. After just 45 minutes, my car was ready and I was handed a bill for $344. That's outrageous for an oil change plus two filters, especially since I never authorized the additional work. At the time, I was in a rush and didn't have the chance to argue the charges, so I paid and left. Since then, I've been trying for over a week to speak with the manager, Brian. Despite calling numerous times, I've received no response. This lack of professionalism and accountability is unacceptable. Please be warned: this service department will take advantage of customers, especially women, by performing unauthorized work and charging for it. Purchased a new Cadillac XT6 from out of state (Virginia) based on options and color combination that were not available locally. Did not buy based on low price. Flew to Detroit to pick up vehicle. Unfortunately, did not complete a thorough inspection before leaving the dealership and on the return trip and over the next few days, determined that: Super Cruise was not working Tire Pressure Monitoring System was not working; tires were under-inflated; dealer installed option of black emblems was neither provided nor installed; windshield washer reservoir was not filled. Basically dealer prep had consisted of washing the vehicle. Lodged complaints both by telephone and email but dealership refused to accept accountability for failure to prep the vehicle and offered no assistance to resolve the technical issues. Eventually resolved everything but only after investing several hours which should not have been necessary. Would not recommend purchasing from this dealership. read more

The finance person, Brandon Zemach, was patient in explaining all the paperwork and he was very personable. Terrible Service. My $59,000 Cadillac with 1200 miles needed the high voltage system serviced due to several failed Fast charge events. Once they found out that I did not purchase the car at their dealership , they refused to provide a loaner car. They never communicated the GM Cadillac warranty policy which offered rental reimbursement. They reminded me several times they are independent of GM , Maybe GM should stop allocating cars to them and see how long their independence stands. read more

I had my car towed back here as my battery died on the side of the road on December sixth. The tow truck driver blew a coolant line and it needed to be replaced. They put on a new hose, found another leak, ordered the wrong hose, then proceeded to never update me. So I had to call SIX times after being hung up on twice for someone to finally answer. There has been one employee who is the only one who gave me an honest answer regarding my car. They did not return any of my calls after telling me they would call me back. Today, 3/12 they did not have an expected repair time OR a rental vehicle. I will be removing my car from their service. I would not wish this place on my worst enemy. I had a service done in Crestview Cadillac yesterday for an oil change & a recall to take care. I had called last week (one week in advance), they didn't have recall item, so they had to keep my car overnight. They wasted my time & overcharged for everything in Oil change (more than $115, more than double I get them done in other places). & some charges, way more than it should be. Long story short, I don't suggest this Cadillac dealership for anyone, & I give 1 star out of 5 stars. read more

I took my car in for service for my radio because every-time I hit a bump my radio would just completely turn off. I sat for 3.5 hours only to be rushed by the service advisor to tell me I needed a screw and rather then make me wait any longer they would contact me when the screw came in... The service advisor (Ron) never mentioned my radio. I had to ask him what about my radio. He then replied I forgot we 're ordering you a new radio. 2 days later I receive a call from the Service manager Brian reminding me that I would receive a survey and if I could please give them another chance and he would take care of me himself and make me a happy customer... I did receive the survey and as promised I didn't give the shop a bad review. 3 weeks had passed and I hadn't taken my car into service due to a family emergency... I finally got back to the city and I scheduled an appointment @ 8:30 am appointment on 08/09/2023... it did not go well... For months I researched what would be the right fit for me. There were a couple I came close to, but I just couldn't get the Cadillac XT4 out of my head. The beauty, the luxury, she was my dream car. Cadillac GMC you built a beautiful car. You built my I'm a bad ass, nothing can stop me. yay me car. After looking at hundreds of cars, I found my dream car. Cadillac XT4 Premium Luxury all the bells and whistles dream car Crestview Cadillac 4 hours away but for my dream car well worth the trip. The whole week before I had butterflies. SO EXCITED. The Friday before we went to get it. I got a message from the person covering for the salesperson I had been working with. He was trying to get us to be there even earlier. I explained the 4 hours and traffic and let him know we would leave at 8 am. I got a weird feeling, but I chalked it up to nerves this was a big purchase. We got there; the car was beautiful!!! Although a number of things went wrong. (They knew 4 days prior that I was coming to get the car because I had done the majority of the paperwork.) The correct people were not at the dealership, so paperwork had to be sent home with me. They didn't have a temporary plate for the car ready, so we sat while the guy that did them was called in. I got home. Go to get the paperwork done and they didn't send me with all the documents. I let them know this on a Thursday. They tell me they are going to overnight the documents. They don't show up Friday, the paperwork doesn't show up Saturday. I asked to speak to someone in charge on Monday. Monday the paperwork in finally overnighted. Tuesday April 12th, I get the paper done and sent back. That Wednesday I receive the temporary plate that expire 5/5/2022. On April 12th I verify that everything is taken care of over the phone. One April 20th I verify everything is taken care of via text message. I was told year both times. May 5th come's and I have not heard anything. I send the sales guy a message inquiring about the status. I hear nothing back but yesterday on May 6th at 4:30 pm I get paperwork that was overnighted. With only a note that says the titling company needs 2 new notarized POA's. I've enclosed a return Fedex prepaid. I tried to call the dealership. I asked for the Manager that I had spoken with before. Told that he is there helping another customer. I asked that I please get a call back. Explained the situation and heard nothing. I now have an expensive Cadillac XT4 just sitting there, that I can't drive. I can't get an explanation on why more paperwork needs filled out. This could be the worst dealership I have ever entered. I am flat-out AMAZED. I've bought cars from many places in my 36 years of driving. Crestview simply doesn't care about their work, their customers or the experience of Cadillac ownership. Any problem is the customer's problem, not theirs. When my 2018 vehicle with 46,000 miles died with a severe problem on the road and had to be towed to them, they were not the least bit accommodating. They literally argued with each other about whether I had to pay a $135 check-out charge to get the vehicle looked at. I didn't care, but I don't because the car is UNDER WARRANTY. My car likely has $10,000+ of repairs needed because it overheated and shut down (on a 36-degree day). I just want a running car. I received no loaner, no kind words, no "I'm sorry", Just treatment as though it was somehow my fault that a $90,000 car purchased new, died on the highway after 46,000 miles and 2 years of use. This place is clearly mismanaged. I hear even worse things about the body shop at this location. Even calling this place is a chore. You will wait, get transferred around and sent to voicemail when you specifically ask to hold, etc.. Do yourself a favor- if you're going to buy a Cadillac, buy it somewhere else. You do not want to begin a relationship with these people. There aren't enough, but there are other places nearby that will compete for your business and respect that there should be a modicum of service after purchasing their brand. ***My vehicle is with them now and I will update this review as my experience develops/changes from this point on. Stay tuned*** I think their GM Craig Hubble has a lot of work to do with this place. As a life-long resident of Rochester, I expect better for the customers of our businesses. I, unfortunately, did not read the reviews before choosing Crestview as the dealer to purchase my EV/Lyriq. Had I read others, I would have selected another dealership. It is a running theme that they do not deal with issues/concerns. I have tried to call several times without a return call. I put a deposit for the EV last year, May 2022, and I was told it would be ready in Q1 of 2023. I was just told that it would be in Nov/Dec 2023. My lease for my previous car ended in Jan 2023. I told the salesperson it was unacceptable since I would not have a vehicle for nine months and was told to call GM. Dealership kept my vehicle for over 10+ days, never called with the status and/or progress. When escalated to general manager to find out the status on my vehicle, I was told, transmission "Valve Body", needs replacement with a price tag of over $3000+. Like anyone, I took my car to two different highly rated auto repair service and found out that there was no problem with the transmission. This is a service SCAM by this dealership. Sears Corporation auto service went bankrupt due to very similar SCAM. I would ask my friends & family to stay away with this dealership. I made another appointment at another Cadillac dealership for Lube, brake and trans fluid exchange. No problem! Service was completed in couple hours and valet service was provided. On September 29, 2023 my wife & I were traveling to Hilton Head, SC for a family wedding. Just south of Asheville I received a warning message on my Cadillac Xt5 indicating that my "steering assist was reduced drive carefully". I had received this message before. Not knowing exactly what it meant I googled it and found out that in most cases it meant a thermostat problem that is common with that engine and that it should be covered under my powertrain warranty. I took my vehicle into Crestview Cadillac to have it repaired. Initially they told me it was probably a thermostat problem and it would be covered under my powertrain warranty. But later that day the service supervisor called and said that it wasn't a thermostat problem but rather a coolant issue that cost $1,600 to repair. Needless to say I wasn't very happy but authorized the repair. I also asked them to check the thermostat again to make it wasn't the issue. When I picked up my vehicle I asked if they had checked the thermal again and was told they had and that wasn't the issue. Upon receiving the message a second time I was sure the problem was the thermostat. I asked my wife to call Crestview to see if they could help direct us to a local dealer close to where we were. My wife was told that all the service representatives were busy and they would call us back. My wife then went on line ang found the nearest GM dealer which happened to be Boyd GMC in Hendersonville, NC. We called their service department and explained the issue to their service rep, Randy, as well as the fact that we had to be in Hilton Head that evening. He said to bring it and they would see what they could do. He was there to meet us when we pulled into the service bay. He then confirmed that it was a code #P128 thermostat problem. He checked with his parts department to confirmed that they had the parts to make the repair and also confirmed that the cost of the repair was covered by my powertrain warranty. Of course I authorized the repair. The repair was made and we were on the road 2.5 hrs later. Boyd was great. We arrived in Hilton Head at 4:30 that afternoon. Just as we were pulling onto the island Crestview service returned our call from 8:30 that morning. This is by far the "WORST" customer service I have ever received. I dropped my truck off Wednesday (without) a loaner because they say they don't have any cars to loan out. TODAY is Saturday..... We went to this dealership with the intentions of purchasing a 2022 CT4 V Blackwing. As we approached the dealership a saleswoman came out. I really wish I paid attention to her name so that I could post it here. I have never seen such a horrible, rude, condescending, and overall worthless salesperson. She showed pointed out a blue CT4 V Blackwing in the showroom, but it wouldn't work for us becuase it was a manual transmission. Since we looked online, we knew that there were other CT4 V Blackwings at the dealer. We asked her if we could see them, she told us that they were at a storage/facility warehouse. We said "ok, how can we go see them." She said I could show you pictures. Show us pictures?! WTF. We immediately walked out. We traveled 8 hours with the intentions of seeing these cars IN PERSON and purchasing one. You all should get rid of this saleswoman becuase she is a poor representation of the Cadillac brand, again I wish I had her name to post it here. Oh well, you all lost a sale to LaFontaine Cadillac. We couldn't be more pleased with the experience there. I took my car Cadillac SRX for service on Friday 8/5/22. Went to pick up my car later that afternoon and found a few scratches just behind the driver door and rear quarter panel. I showed Tim Delaney (Service Manager) and he acknowledged the scratches were fresh and told me he'll review the notes with the person that checked in the car. I took some photos and sent it to him. Called Tim on Monday and he said he's still working on it and will give me a call back by Tuesday. Didn't hear from Tim on Tuesday. I called back multiple times and left messages without a return. I called again on Thursday and waited to speak with Tim as my messages were not working. He said he's working to fix the scratch behind the front door but will not fix the scratches on the quarter panel because he reviewed the photos, I sent him with somebody from the body shop and they said the scratches look old! Seriously!! Tim still was not able to find the details on the car when it was logged in so basically, he's just going off from someone's opinion. Tim is difficult to work with and not friendly at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was looking to upgrade both the SRX and the XT5 that we have, this place will not be getting my business. Definitely NOT coming back to this place, I'll drive further to Suburban Cadillac where I bought the XT5. Much better service and friendly people. Don't waste your time and save yourself a headache, stay away from Crestview. As a GM employee, I expected a lot more from a Cadillac Dealership. This place doesn't even deserve a 1-star. read more

Terrible customer service. I dealt with Jon and Jeff, they were both rude and could care less about making the sale. They ignored me avoided phone calls and were out right rude and unprofessional. Never the less I was interested in a car they were selling so I put up with it. I expressed my concerns and they couldn't care less. I eventually backed out because the insurance was too high for my budget at which point I made it very clear I wasn't interested any more. This was on a Monday. On Friday he messaged me again about the car again. I told him I had bought another car. The service department at this dealership is awful. My vehicle was there for 2 months with mechanical issues. I continually got the run around about what was wrong with the vehicle and when it would get fixed. When I finally was able to pick it up, there was no apology whatsoever about it taking so long. I understand that businesses are short staffed, but at least act like you care. I was also continually told that they were completely depleted of loaner cars, but when I went to pick my car up, they were giving a loaner to someone else. Buyer beware at Crestview Cadillac... I purchased a used Escalade a few months back, and have not stopped putting money into since. The used car department did not seem to perform even a basic inspection on the vehicle. 2 or 3 weeks after taking delivery, I experienced a complete loss of power steering, and almost collided with 2 other vehicles. Thankfully, I worked at a dealership, and my service department was able to trace the problem, along with tracking codes in my vehicle that the most basic of inspections would have revealed. Now I am experiencing an intermittent malfunction of my power brakes. I called to speak to the used car manager, who apparently is no longer there. The new manager asked me who my salesman was, and he is also no longer there either. The new manager informed me there was nothing he could do, and gave me the number to an independent mechanic and wished me good luck. Don't make the same mistake I did and assume because you're buying a premium product, from a premium brand dealer, that they are going to be any different than a typical used car lot. read more

HUGE NEGATIVE review for Crestview Cadillac's Body shop (Rochester, MI) - last Monday took my SUV there for the pre-arranged appointment for body work from when my husband was in an accident; I called last Thursday & spoke to the Body Shop Manager Tony to check on the completion date. He said Wednesday or Thursday of this week. We called today & found out they have NOT even started on it and no has called us. OH? We leave Sunday for FL for 2 weeks - now we have to drive an hour each way to their location, retrieve our car; we get to drive to FL with a wrecked SUV, and then we have to go back mid-April for their 2nd attempt??????
