Did a little research and I can understand why as the dentists here at this location are fairly "new" - experience within the last 6 years. But that's not going to stop me. The establishment is clean, staff are friendly, and it looks like they have up to date equipment and technology compared to the last dentist I had here at Cincinnati. Come to find out they are NOT covered by my insurance. Their excuse was that they "take" my insurance, but they haven't been in-network for 4 years. WHY did you not say that when I called? You KNOW that's what people mean when they ask if you take their insurance. My insurance company lists their dentist as in network, but apparently it's at another location and Herald Family told me they've "been trying" to get it taken down. I'm sorry, you've been out of network for four years, and you can't get them to remove you from the website? What a lousy excuse. I also had to wait 30 minutes to see a dentist after my cleaning was done because the dentist I was supposed to see was at lunch. Don't schedule appointments at lunch time if you can't see your patients. Stay so far away!

I would highly recommend him and any of the staff working there. Recently, my husband went after years of knowing he needed to. I talked the place up because I was confident he'd have a great experience and, like many people, he isn't a fan of the dentist and due to various reasons, he needed a lot of dental work. Dr. Frew made sure she humiliated, belittled, and excoriated him, even noting that her dental schooling was expensive when he noted finances were one reason he hadn't come in sooner. I notified the office after we got home and the office manager called me. She said she'd talk about it with Dr. Herald. Husband went in for an appointment with Dr. Herald and he seemed to have no clue or, if he did, he didn't see to care. He left without getting anything done and will not go back. I'm beyond disappointed. I'd recommend Dr. Herald, but not Dr. Frew.

I went to Wright dental because of my insurance. I left a doctor that was out of network that I…read morereally liked and had fair prices. I had to have a bridge replaced. The office/ billing person took a long amount of time to run my insurance and she called them with questions. She came back with a price for my portion of the procedure. I had to pay this price in full before it could be started. I also asked that they get the X-ray from my other dentist since I had all ready paid for them, when I made the appointment. The dental assistant said they did not get my xrays , but that they would not charge me for them. The temporary crown was not comfortable and I had more pain with the temporary than I did with the loose bridge. I felt as if they rushed the temporary since it was a holiday weekend. Today I received a bill for 128 more dollars. No list of charges just a PAY NOW bill. I noticed when looking on my insurance that the out of network doctor s prices were covered in full. So looks like my visits and my family will gravitate to the dentist with reasonable prices and a honor when giving pricing for procedures. I have had other procedures at my other dentist and I have never been billed more. So your 128.00 bill cost you much more since my spouse needs a crown.

One when I took my wife to this office for a tooth…read moreache, he recommended a root canal and cap for this tooth and treatment of the 2 adjacent tooth (no x-rays or antibiotics), Then he sent me to the marketing lady in front (she is in charge of making ballooned up cost with unnecessary items for the benefit of the doctor and her job security), she gave us an estimate of $3500 cash or CC. I called another doctor for a second opinion; he said for 5 days wash with salt water, if the pain does not go away or comes back then come and see me. We did the pain never came back. On a second incident I went to Dr. Christopher Omeltschenko for a root canal on a tooth that had a cap on it, he said I need a new root canal and a new cap and sent me to the same marketing lady in front; again she added some nonsense items and gave me an estimate of $2700. I called another very nice Endodontics in Kentucky, he gave me an estimate of $900 and said the cap does not need to come off, and the bill will be sent to my medical insurance then I will pay the balance, which end up to be $350. Then surprise I received a surprise bill from Dr. Christopher Omeltschenko for $130 for the estimate he had given me, I paid it, what a rip-off.
