He seemed to intuitively understand what my wife and I wanted, and his team did a beautiful job. It's absolutely gorgeous, and Jay steered us into practical decisions that worked very well for us, and the look we were trying to achieve. This year, we had them do a roofing repair as well (a few missing/broken tiles, and tar paper replacement). His guy came to our house and was done so quickly I barely realized he was there. Not kidding, a bit of hammering and he was done. If I didn't actually see the photos of the work, I might not have believed it (haha). This month (Dec. 2019) Jay and his crew repainted the exterior of our entire house, including doors, shutters and patio, as well as replace two very old back windows of ours with thicker, vinyl windows. The work was quickly done (only a few days), and looked EXACTLY how we'd imagined it would. Better, in fact. My wife and I couldn't be more happy with how it came out. I still find myself going outside a lot more these days, just to look at it again. I keep Milato Construction's number on my phone because if we need something done, I trust that Jay will intuitively understand what we need and the most affordable way to get it. He works as best he can within a given budget, and if anything isn't to his personal satisfaction, he will find a way to make it so. I had a very tight timeline and high expectations, and Gus, along with Freddy and Ivan, quickly became my go-to for all the extra projects that came up: painting a 50+ year-old kitchen with vaulted ceilings and a brick fireplace, rewiring electrical for the island and TV, moving fixtures, making a pocket door and even plumbing. Whenever challenges came up, Gus was calm, resourceful, and always had a solution. He often reminded me he was just a phone call or text away, and he followed through every time. I have been completely satisfied with everything he has done for me and every day I go in my yard I am reminded of what a professional he is and how good he is at what he does. I just had additional concrete added to my pool deck/patio by Bob. His concrete work is A+ top notch. When I was first looking to get my pool deck/patio installed I was nervous about hiring a concrete contractor as I had heard horror stories and seen horrendous work. I met with several different concrete installers who promised high quality work. (Especially the extremely low-cost installers...UGH! run away from them as fast as you can!). After doing my homework on everyone I hired Bob because his customers spoke highly about him and the photos of his work were fantastic. He stood far above the others based on his reputation and previous work. I was not disappointed. I got a wonderful looking pool deck/patio that drained properly...not one low spot or "bird bath" as they are called. The finish was perfect and the edges were smooth and consistent. I did a curved pool deck and the curves were perfect...not wavy or inconsistent. He even took care of sleeves/futures under the patio for lighting wire and sprinkler lines to the remote planters though I forgot to ask about that. He just did it. He thinks about things you may want in the future and makes sure what he does leaves you access to add those things should you ever want them. There are a lot of people/companies out there who say they do professional quality concrete and general construction work but they don't deliver like Robert Berney Construction. Everything he has done for me is top notch. His prices are reasonable and he is easy to work with. Having work done at your house can be a tedious process but not with Bob. He helps you through it every step of the way and makes the project fun. I have recommended him to friends and family who have used him for patio covers, decks, room additions and even had garages and guest houses built! The coping and mortar war completed around December of 2015. They had to come back once last year to repair some bad coping and mortar pieces from the initial instalation. I have pictures and documentation of these areas of concern. The pool was filled February of 2016 and not really used until May of 2016. As of August 13th there are 24 abnormal cracks in the mortar joints between the coping, as well as the mortar around the drain line in the pool tile is now gone. This isn't taking into account the expected cracks at the mortar/coping joint. I won't allow them to repair it as their workmanship the first time around is subpar.

Chris addressed issues that were not part of his scope to go the extra mile to make sure I felt supported. He responded to communication within an hour and had a plan in place for the one week he was on vacation. This company is top-notch. Two minor issues that need to be resolved and of course he has already agreed to come up and look at re-aligning a drawer and cabinet front.
