I have time today. Perspective - A past tenant who lived there for four years and rented the third floor of one of the buildings. I had a two bedroom two bath apartment that was initially $1000 per month by the time I had exited the premises four years later my rent was closer to $1200 per month. Cons: -Location is hood adjacent, which you can probably tell by trying to visit the facility. -there are many cockroaches that are more than likely navigating the plumbing system. On a one week basis I would basically have to eliminate at least one. -Parking for a covered spot is an additional cost and is frequently unavailable. -Tires had four nails over span of four years. -Gym is outdated. -There were warnings about car break ins (refer to point 1) Pros: -Cost initially -Easy to order maintenance -Close to HCA hospital -The staff I worked with was very nice (but they have moved on) Things to look out for - Your deposit is likely not recoverable, despite steam washing it upon your exit. Trying to obtain a rental reference takes many hurdles, and in my experience delayed a rental application. read more

I'm not sure why staff have a "mean girls" attitude towards residents. Literally have been harassed for just walking through the office to get to the gym. It's one thing to ask politely if I'm a resident and inform that the office is closed it's another to snap at me and then after send another office worker to ask the same questions. read more

This is NOT where you want to live. Since I had moved the people in the front office changed multiple times and things did not always get handed down from one person to the next. Then along comes a new property manager (at least the 3rd in 2 years). She had very recently become a "certified" property manager and had "to prove" herself without regard to anyone or anything - and very much a extremely unpleasant woman to deal with. My niece had found mold in her home - well I am single had a 2 bedroom, so I had room for her and her son on a temporary basis. I also have 2 service dogs and occasionally watch one of my Mom's dogs (which was my former emotional support dog - service dog and support dogs are completely different). The day of their inspection I waited until almost 3:30 in the afternoon. When no one had come yet I had to leave to go to class, leaving my Mom's dog and my second service dog at home. Also was my nieces laundry - her son had wet the bed and his sheets were in a basket. Well at 10PM I got an email from the property manager "yelling at me in email - the ALL CAPS thing" that in the email I had sent earlier I was admitting to "illegal occupants" and "illegal animals" in my unit. Additionally that my unit smelled strongly of dog urine. My dogs didn't go in the house and only occasionally when they were sick may have had an accident inside, plus I got the carpet professionally cleaned about every 6 months to keep it nicer. I politely emailed back "explaining" the situation thinking that she didn't understand my first email - that it was temporary my niece living with me and that my place did not smell of dog urine. I was not knowingly admitting to anything. Upon her receipt of my second email she emailed me back (at almost midnight) and demanded that I voluntarily move by the end of the month - 2 weeks away during finals week - or she was going to have me evicted. Things went downhill from there. I was told that since i had mentioned in an email about contacting the ADA and my attorney....mind you I was past upset at this point and really didn't know what else to say...that they could only communicate via email. To get around the service dog laws - they decided to not renew my lease. They never gave me a chance to address or discuss the rules I was unknowingly breaking. I didn't know that I couldn't have someone stay more than 72 hours at a time, even though I was paying for a 2 bedroom and know of many residents in Cricket Club II who had relatives living with them for years.....hello?! Also, apparently you can't have more than a certain number of "animals" in a unit at a time and I was over that limit. Service dogs are not legally considered a pet nor an animal - they are considered a medical device just like a cane or wheelchair. Caught now between a rock and a hard place - I am single student, US military veteran with PTSD on a fixed income and financial aid....I hadn't been saving moving expenses because I had planned to be there one more year til I graduated. The property manager at this point though that texting me was now the proper and PROFESSIONAL (and MIDNIGHT the Professional time to email eviction threats) way to communicate and since i had gotten text messages before that it MUST mean that I was getting their text messages. Previously I had been told that email was the only way I was allowed to communicate with them - except for the property manager - she could communicate anyway she wanted and at any time of the day. The property manager was THE most UNPROFESSIONAL property manager I have ever met (and i used to be a property manager and HOA president). And because she was newly certified - she had to prove herself and I was just the one to do that on. They will tell you one thing then do another, they want to make money - period! That's their driving force at Cricket club II. There's no discussing anything - there's no "Life Happens"...everything has to be to the letter of the lease....verbatim. No explaining what lease bylaw you're breaking - they know the lease line by line and expect you to know it just as well. They had to put up a barb-wired fence to keep some of the kids in an adjacent complex out. Cars are broken into 3-4 nights a week. I never felt safe there, even though I really liked my apartment layout. I didn't feel safe even with a 120 lb German Sheppard with me and nights are the worst. Car thieves came into Cricket Club II "running" from police. On multiple occasions I woke to flashing blue lights out my window. If you're looking for a place to live, be comfortable and safe - LOOK ELSEWHERE. If you're looking for property manager and office staff that are pleasant and professional - LOOK ELSEWHERE. RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! This place is NOT your next home. When we moved in the apartment was dirty and we had to get the carpet steam cleaned. We were told it was professionally cleaned and the HUGE dog stain would not come out. Well it did after I had to rent a steam cleaner and do it myself. there was mold in the windows the fans and light fixtures were cover in about a half inch of dust. We also had to clean that. When we went to leave they really had to work hard to find dirt in the apartment. With a little pet hair on the base boards and a spot of dirt in the corner of the window sills they said that they could not rent it out. They had to hire a professional to come clean it. The management will screw you out of every dime you put down. We were told on multiple occasions by multiple employees that we kept our apartment very clean but some how they want to keep our money. Minus the money they steal from you, the kids in the neighborhood run wild. I had my truck broke into 3 times and my wife's friend caught them trying to break in to her car. I will never recommend this place to any one due to the dishonest employees and criminal children. read more

We have lived in Cricket Club for 2 years in September. The staff has changed quite a bit since they were bought out by Bosshardt, but they have all remained consistent. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and I love the fact that there is gate at the front. The only qualms we have had were with noise levels over one weekend, and once we brought it to the attention of the front office, it stopped immediately. The usual things happen, like your washer and dryer needs a tune up, or you need a new AC filter every three months. There is one particular person you can always count on, and that's Rick, the Maintenance Supervisor. He is so friendly even though the complex has been experiencing some big changes over the past few months, and the demand on him has him commuting from Haile, to Cricket Club, to God knows where else. After he came out the first time almost two years ago he told us to just program his number in our cell phones in case we needed him on an emergency basis. Our AC went out once in the heat of summer (we have a big dog who was really suffering too) and when the front office wouldnt take their phones of service, we were able to call his cell and he made a special promise to fix it within 1 hour even though he was in the middle of a job wayyyyy across town. Who does that??? Ill tell you who, NO ONE. If he ever left, it would definitely weigh in on whether or not we would renew with this complex, and we have NO intention of moving anytime soon. This place has been a nightmare. Do not move in here. The apartments are beautiful and reasonably priced. However, I moved in and within two months there was mold/mildew covering almost every inch of the apartment. It ruined a lot of my personal belongings. The management tried to take care of it by treating the ozone and cleaning, sent someone out to check the a/c, brought in a de-humidifyer and I was happy. But the story does not stop here. They could not find the source of the mold/mildew and it came back. It started to make both my room mate and I ill. Then the apartment compex tried to blame the mold on my room mate's cats. Even though the de-humidifyer read at 80-90% humidity in the unit. Normal humidity is supposed to be around 45% indoors. Our humidity level was higher than outside! Finally, they called us at 4:56p.m. on a Friday night and told us that we could no longer live there because the inspection found that the mildew/ mold was harmful. They told us that they were going to move us into another unit but would not cover any of the moving expenses and claimed they could not end out lease. Well, that's a lie, and illegal. And why would be want to spend $100s of dollars in moving expenses to move into another unit that might have mold in it? After a weekend of arguing with them they decided that they would be "kind enough" to let us out of our lease- even though that is what they legally have to do. The move cost a ridiculous amount of money! We lived there two months and had to spend $180 to cancel internet, rent a truck, cancel utilities, find a new place even though we both work a full time job. We both also had to miss work since we were sick from the mold. And then this place told us we had to pay for the 8 days rent we were there in October trying to look for a new place even though this one was destroying our health and our things. It took numerous emails to the property manager to get them to waive October's rent. If you want to stay away from a headache then stay away from this place. And if you decide to live here- make sure you can afford a lawyer if you need one. I actually have pictures of the ridiculous mold overgrowth. If anyone needs to see how bad it was. read more

My career has forced me to move away. That is why I am leaving after 3 great years. Hands down, these are the best built apts in Gainesville. Excellent location. Due to the quality construction, my Energy Bills are low. My apartment has always been quiet. The Staff in the Leasing / Management Office are professional, helpful, and always very pleasant. The Maintenance here in the facility is absolutely outstanding. The Maintenance Director is extremely responsive and friendly. I actually think my Dog like the Maintenance Director more than me : ) I highly recommend Cricket Club II to anyone looking for a High Quality, Well Run, and Well Priced place to live. read more

Bosshardt property runs the place. Before you decide to live here, consider the fact that your security deposit may not be given back to you once they know that you are moving out of town. I used to live here, and mine was never given back. I was told by Daisy that it was mailed but USPS returned it back to them twice, and then she started to quote the law that once 30 days has past, you are no longer entitled to your deposit again. I called their office after I left and they said the deposit will be mailed but Daisy was telling me that she sent it to my P.O. Box just 10 days after I left which is ridiculous. TERRIBLE!!! I live in Cricket Club I but I was going to Cricket Club II to visit a friend and go to the pool there. (I was accompanied by two of my other friends.) As we were walking a man who works there stops us and says "Leave,you do not live here so leave." We had explained to him that we were visiting a friend and that we were all going to the pool. He did not care. He kept telling us that because we did not live here we had to leave. We followed his orders and turned around and went to our pool... Without our friend... Not to mention I know who his children are. They all live in Cricket Club II, he has two girls I think both are between 12-14 years old. As we were at our pool his own children showed up. I have lived in Gainesville for 5 years and every year I move to a new apartment in hopes of finding one that isn't old, dirty, and a waste of money. Well, I won't be moving this year! I moved into Cricket Club II less than a year ago and every thing, and I mean every thing, has been perfect. The apartments are tucked way in the back, away from noisy car traffic on Tower Rd., which makes the apartment complex seem like it's own private community. The gated entrance also adds to that sense of security. The buildings are absolutely beautiful on the outside and on the inside. I live in a 3 bedroom/3 bath apartment with a washer/dryer and I can't believe how much space we have. The layout is one that isn't used often in other apartment complexes and it really does make a difference. This place literally looks like a luxury apartment since it has crown molding, high ceilings, and decorative light fixtures and ceiling fans. I never thought that I could afford such a classy place in Gainesville, but I was wrong, the prices are amazingly low. Our kitchen is like that of a gourmet chef. We have all new black appliances, dark wood cabinets, tile floors, and granite counter tops!! It is gorgeous, to say the least and I have to admit, the kitchen is what hooked me in the first place. The complex also has a beautiful gated pool and club house area with a gym for all residents Bosshardt Property Management really has impressed me. Not only are their properties of a high quality, but there staff is amongst the best I've encountered in Gainesville. I've only had one minor problem (my ice machine stopped working) and maintenance took care of it before I could even finish my drink! I really couldn't be more impressed by them. So, I could keep listing all the great things about this apartment complex and Bosshardt Properties OR you could just check them out for yourself. You are guaranteed not to be disappointed by their beautiful layouts and GREAT prices. Seriously, I pay $330 a month for what I consider the best apartment in town (and I've seen a lot!). read more

I have lived here for over a year. Definitely not my favorite place I have lived in Gainesville. First off, it is right next to the ghetto. People are constantly jumping, or breaking, the privacy fence that is separating it. I constantly see cop cars or the police helicopter circling. There's a junk car that has been parked in the end of the parking lot for over a year, and the gal from the office always in getting something from it. Also the gal from the office at least one a day rides the gold cart to this spot hides behind this junk car to smoke. When residents have tried to get it removed, this same person refuses. When I moved in there were spiders and roaches EVERYWHERE!!! I spent a lot of money on bug spray to kill all the infestations. Also, I lost a lot of electronics due to the poor building power structure. It was installed wrong, I heard the electrician say it, and we had a ton of surges that caused me to lose things that renters insurance won't cover. I have sent numerous calls and emails to Bosshardt and cricket club but no one ever returns them. I am waiting to see if I get my deposit back. I have never, not received my deposit back, so if I don't then I will take them to court. They have already cost me way too much money. It is too expensive for what you get. read more
