One of the things I enjoy most is being able to walk around aimlessly and explore the wide variety of trees and plants they offer. Every visit feels a little different depending on the season, and I love seeing what new plants and flowers are available. I've always had positive experiences with the employees--they're friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. This is my go-to spot when I'm looking for milkweed to support butterflies or when I want to find a new, beautiful plant to attract bees. My one small complaint is that some items can be priced a bit higher compared to other places, so I occasionally shop around depending on what I'm looking for. That said, the quality and variety often make it worth the extra cost. Overall, Kerby's is a great nursery with an impressive selection, knowledgeable staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. Hours are 11 AM to 5 PM-- FRIDAY THRU SUNDAY. Not only is there a small house filled w/ merchandise, but step outside under the carports to browse the large quantity of additional merchandise. What might you discover? Glassware, bakeware, & serving sets; toys & games; miscellaneous wall decor; furniture; lamps & lighting features; tools; clothing & shoes; costume jewelry; small appliances; vases; golf clubs; misc sporting goods; wood pens & cutting boards (both new); candles, homemade soaps, & rag dolls (all new), etc-- SEE ALL THE PICS Seriously LOW PRICES on everything, yet there were still many items discounted up to 50%. I'm so glad the denizens of Yelp had already reviewed this particular locale, because I knew I was in for a treat. I only spent a few bucks but I walked out with a fun assortment of treasures! I got some vintage domino pieces I plan to turn into jewelry as well as some old toy pieces, etc. There is such a random assortment of odds and ends, from pure vintage items to glorified junk--you have to be willing to commit to the search, which is half the fun.
