Instead, they take the time to explain how things work, walk you through repairs, and teach you in a way that's easy to understand and encouraging. On my latest visit, I purchased another RC car (which I'm sure my brother-in-law will eventually destroy), along with a new battery. Andy went above and beyond--he found a Traxxas sale and made sure I got the discounted price, helped me figure out a better repair approach, coached me through the process, and even lent me tools and some thread locker to get the job done right. Customer service like that is rare these days. Andy is a stand-up guy, and the entire team has earned my trust and business. But as I was being denied a few dollars while standing next to shoes in much worse shape and worth less than mine that they had up for sale, my ego got admittedly a bit bruised. Like my stuff was not good enough to sell next to the crap they already have up for sale. I have pawned things, sold things and bought things from this location ample times over the last 5 years. But after that today I will not be a customer here any longer. Not necessarily because they wouldn't buy my stuff, but rather the manner in which I was disregarded was not right.
