I've been coming here for years. Have never had an issue. Today I tried to sell a practically brand new pair of Nike's and a few half way decent purses to get some grocery cash for things I have laying around. I have seen them sell name brand shoes and purses for a while now. And I was not looking for much, just whatever I could get. They told me to try Plato's closest because they purchase shoes and purses. I went to them out of loyalty and comfort. Knowing I would be treated fairly. But as I was being denied a few dollars while standing next to shoes in much worse shape and worth less than mine that they had up for sale, my ego got admittedly a bit bruised. Like my stuff was not good enough to sell next to the crap they already have up for sale. I have pawned things, sold things and bought things from this location ample times over the last 5 years. But after that today I will not be a customer here any longer. Not necessarily because they wouldn't buy my stuff, but rather the manner in which I was disregarded was not right. Some of the staff here is genuinely kind and knowledgeable, but the current management is just toxic. End of my rant. read more

Do not shop or pawn anything at this store! When trying to make a payment several times by phone I was either hung up on or no one would answer the phone. They do this to keep the money or the item you have pawned. This store is unprofessional with unprofessional employees, the manager is rude and sloppy. The women workers are rude and do not want to help. This store is horrible!! read more

Value Pawn has a great selection of nice stuff at good prices so I've shopped there for years. I usually do layaway so I can get a bit more stuff and have a few months to pay it out, works for me. Another thing I like is they have a 6 month warranty so you can either get a credit to use for anything in the store, and it works at all their stores too. The crew there has always treated me great and I've been going there for over 11 years now. Definitely worth checking them out. read more

If you really mean you only have until the end of the day you bought that item to get your money back, say that. I was told I had 24 hours to return the item. The person who sold me it never mentioned you cannot get your money back, only get store credit. I was sold a broken item, tried to return it and was told I could only get more store. Awesome! Another opportunity to buy broken stuff! I don't care for this place much so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

Have been to this pawn shop many times. They are great when you need some cash in a hurry and have something good to pawn. I typically have firearms to pawn or sell and those they usually give you what you want for as they are good resellers. Pawning i have always gotten what i needed and came back to pick them up the next month. Selling. Well Its a pawn shop. Not gonna give you what its worth. They typically do half of what it is worth as they are a pawn shop and they have to resell it and make a profit. So i understand that. But i have gotten pretty close to what i have wanted when i go to sell. The manager (Really tall guy with the glasses) he is always great. I like to deal with him when it comes with the firearms as the females who work there have no idea of anything about them. read more
