Wings were good, Tea was great. They are now my second favorite wings place. The price is very reasonable 12 Wings+Tea for $8.95. Service was very good too. There are more sauce choices at Beauregard's and because you can combine 2 sauces on one order, the taste is better, especially since they have a honey-hot-gold. I won't be fooled a 3rd time. Food is decent but the management's attitude towards customers is terrible. To them there is no such thing as a wrong order. Thus is the 3rd time I've been burned at this place. Never again.... I ordered a bacon cheeseburger where the bacon was fried wayyy too hard. I remember going to this place two years ago because of all the great review for wings. I thought it was ok... I went back last night with my fiancé and got wings to go. This time I had the sauce on the side and the wings were awesome. They are fried to a perfect crisp. You get a nice crunch when you bite into the wings. The sauce however was kind of weird and watery. I ordered mild buffalo. I also got an order of cheese fries but the fries came out really soft and soggy. I prefer them a bit crunchier. The cheese they use is pretty good though. Like a Colby jack? The waitress was very friendly however the owner who took my money just seemed annoyed at my presence. I always try to be nicer with my rating of local businesses so take that into account when you look at the stars. read more

The food was good but not great which I could live with if I didn't have to wait 35 minutes for my takeout order when I was told it would be 15-20. If I have to wait that long over what I was told then the food should be outstanding or I should get a discount but I didn't even get an apology. read more

Awful food, truly awful. Ordered their 'special', a dozen wings & fries. Order was delivered in a basket with a paper liner. The 'food' was swimming in grease. Fries were saturated in chicken fat. (BTW, tiniest wings I've ever seen.) I salvaged a few of the driest fries from the top of the pile and used several paper towels to absorb what grease I could off the winglets. Wife ate 3-4 wings and I choked down a couple more. Should have sent the order back and refused payment. Oh, and the wife was up half the night with stomach pains. Be forewarned.... Service fair; great wings, but they are ruined with the ranch - It doesn't taste homemade and it is very vinegary; cheap prices.

Promises wings that are "fresh and never frozen" but the giant chest freezer right inside tells the truth. Poppers were frozen in the middle. Wings were spicy, but had this nasty, dried out, raggedy texture. Clearly nowhere near "fresh". I would not recommend this place to anyone, much less someone who appreciates good wings. read more

I've been here several times and I will keep coming here because I love their hot wings! Service here is pretty good and their prices are great. It does get really busy at lunch time. We aren't wing people but figured they would do tenders well. They do not. They seemed frozen. They were very flat and looked like fish. They were overlooked and very dry. Salad was below average. Fries were fine. The BIG complaint we have is they wanted to charge us 75 cents each for a to-go cup. Our party of four had spent $50. We won't go back. read more

I have eaten here twice. If i had to judge this place solely on the wings, i am not impressed. Wings are crispy, so the wings turn out to be a little dry. the wings are cooked with some sauce poured on top, not drenched as you would expect them to be. my wife really liked the burgers at this place. read more

I consider myself a chicken wing connoisseur. The wings are extremely good at crickets. I purchase wings at least 3 to 4 times. The only problem I have with Cricket is that the wait is long. We had dinner here one night while visiting our daughter. The food was amazing and the service was great. The place was packed so I thought we would have to wait a while for our food, but it came out rather quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meal and had a pleasant experience. Cheap cheese sauce on nachos and skimpy on the chili. Also, double charged for the cheese wedge plate. They said they served the big plate - 8 wedges instead of four. But, a big plate is not on the menu and they charged for two small plates. With the way they take orders and payments, you never get to see what they actually charge unless you track it in your head. read more

Most of my coworkers are obsessed with the wings here. Not being a wing fan myself, I got the grilled chicken sandwich and holy moly...it was amazing! The fries were good as well, but that chicken was perfectly cooked. Wonderful wings, the best in town for sure! I love the Jamaican jerk and habenero flavors. Also wonderful big burgers. If you like hot stuff try the habenero jack burger. I love Mrs. G's dumplings. She makes them herself and they are great fried or steamed. As far as appetizers go, the fried mushrooms and cheddar peppers are my favorite! Also really love the mucho nachos which really are very big. If you order salad they are very good and a good size. Best blue cheese dressing I have eaten. We live in Huntsville and I have heard that this a great place to go for Wings. My husband and I finally visted for lunch. We tried the Hot and Mild Wings - both were good. If you like a little heat the Mild is for you; if can go a little Hotter then I recommend Hot. I personally liked the Hot better. We also tried the Beer Batter Dipped Onion Rings! Now the onion rings were 5-stars! You could smell and taste the true beer batter. Service was excellent! Our waitress was very friendly and patient as we decided what to order on our 1st visit. We will be back again. Hint though - lunch ends promptly at 2pm. You come after 2pm, no service again until dinner at 5pm. They also have daily specials which, if we had paid attention would have saved us a few dollars. read more

BEST wings around Madison/Huntsville, bar none. I love wings. There are not that many good wing places around here. About all we have are chains - like Buffalo Wild Wings, Wings To Go, etc. - those wings do not hold a candle to Crickets. They are always PACKED at lunch time, since people come from all over Huntsville area for the wings. They have other stuff - burgers, chickens sandwiches, etc. - and I have had friends eat them and say they were good. I go there for one thing - wings. If you want good wings, you will not be disappointed here. I just wish the would rent out one more section in that strip mall, so they could serve more folks! read more
