The day started at our hotel, where she jumped between our separate rooms to capture my wife and me getting ready. Before she had even gotten to our rooms, she had already scouted the perfect location for our first look. The moment was absolutely incredible, and she handled everything; we didn't have to do a thing but follow her lead. That professional confidence continued at City Hall. She has a masterful familiarity with the building. She took full control of the shoot, guiding us as she told us exactly where to stand, how to pose, and where to move next so we could just relax and enjoy the moment. As a photographer myself, I really appreciated her confidence and professionalism. All we had to do was follow instructions and be present. She knows San Francisco City Hall inside and out -- the lighting, the angles, the timing, and the key locations that truly matter -- every shot felt deliberate and it showed. The technical skill here is top-notch-- the compositions were beautiful, the balance of each frame was spot-on, and her gorgeous color grading. We received around 300 images, and the quality is so consistent that I plan to print every last one of them in large format to ensure we have a permanent physical archive. When we received the final package, we were so touched -- she sent our photos on a beautiful USB drive along with printed images, some sweets, and other thoughtful details. We were fortunate that we found Kevin through our coordinator. Kevin is VERY easygoing and down to earth. He is also clearly experienced and keeps things pretty casual while shooting, which makes photos a little more bearable for people who really can't stand taking photos such as myself. I was also super annoyed/snapping at my now husband pretty much up until the ceremony (there was a lot going on, I promise I'm usually nice to him) but Kevin somehow made me look not as angry as I actually was in the photos, so that's a win! A major standout was when things immediately after the ceremony did not go as planned, and the order of events we had discussed with another vendor did not go as we expected. My husband and I were definitely not thrilled, and our coordinator was prepping for our reception so she was not there at that moment. Kevin took control of the situation to try to make things go the way we had originally hoped they would go, which involved herding people he obviously didn't know. He definitely went above and beyond there, and my guests definitely noticed. I agree with the review about Kevin being a mind reader- he has very good emotional intelligence and is somehow everywhere. My officiant was wearing a Snoopy pin which I was freaking out about because I love Snoopy, and somehow he was there at that moment and got a closeup of it. My coworkers and I all took a shot together, and out of nowhere he showed up and started taking pictures. There was also a moment my uncle "stole" a slice of pizza from my one year old nephew that my family couldn't stop talking about, and Kevin managed to capture the moments before and after the "theft".
