A few days after the purchase I noticed they didn't charge me for the vest. In good conscience I called and paid over the phone. Turned out we were way too busy mountain biking, hiking, and enjoying our travels. To add to the delay, my father died and we hade to get back to Colorado to manage his estate. I finally got to try out all this fishing gear in August. To my disappointment the waders leaked massively. Ugh! Wished I'd have water tested them back in April! Obviously the seller knew they were JUNK and was NOT forthright with Ragged. I tried to return them yesterday and the English accented clerk was delightful. She called the seller and he apparently declined the return, stating it had been too long. Apparently this seller peddles lots of gear there. The friendly clerk defaulted to this corrupt sellers decision. We left very dissatisfied and said they could just dispose of the waders. To which the accented clerk snidely said they would recycle them...hmm? At least I have a a clear conscience about paying for goods they forgot to charge me for. One can only hope others don't fall prey to this Unconscionable dynamic duo! Beware!!!

With help of Defiant Pack and their beautifully constructed bag and my old frame bag that I already own, I hope to ride with the benefit of not wearing any back pack. Never spoke with them on the phone but had several back and forth email exchanges over 36 hrs (and their well designed and simple to view website, https://defiantpack.com/collections) convinced me that their pack was ideal for my purposes. They (unlike a more well established co. in Salida) were readily amenable to customize a saddle bag, with an extra loop to accommodate a small blinky light (for those long stretches on pavement) and had it delivered in well under a week. Not sure how long they've been in business but their "can do" (anything BUT defiant) attitude, workmanship and timely responses to queries will surely translate into big success and customer satisfaction. I'll definitely contact them for more new gear in the future...like a custom ski harness system to hike Highlands bowl. Thanks D.P.

I am not an expert skier so I can't speak about the quality of the skis but the Salomon boots were the most comfortable I have ever worn. They fit me at first try and were warm and dry the whole time. My feet never ached (which they always do when I ski) and I felt they helped me control my skis very well. The return process was straightforward. The shuttle dropped us off at the shop and we didn't have to sign out. Prices were reasonable and cheaper than at other ski resorts. For the quality of the equipment, I think it was good value. Highly recommended!

You will not find a better place to buy your backcountry gear. The guys over at Cripple Creek have everything you need from skis (new and used), clothes, safety items, full service tuning and more. More you say? Yes, they have beer on tap and just got an expresso machine. You can even get a deal on beer and food as part of their partnership with Dos Gringos. They have all the best brand names on the market today and know which will be right for you. Their combined knowledge of the gear they sell and how it will perform in the backcountry is top notch. Between the eight of us, we had so many flights that were canceled/rebooked/ late getting in, and ski butlers had no problem accommodating all of the changes. Not only were they so accommodating, but their service and equipment was as good as it gets. We highly recommend them to anybody who's looking to ski or snowboard. We rented both skis and snowboards and helmets from them. We didn't have any problems with any bit of our equipment. Our 6 kids range from 17 to 26 and they were all happy. Anybody with multiple kids knows that they're not always all happy. So I would say, it was a huge success. Thank you Ski Butlers!!! We will see you again in March.

Riley and his team provided the most amazing customer service I have EVER experienced…read more -When I arrived in Aspen last Friday, Riley delivered two different-sized bikes to my hotel, the St. Regis. He fitted and adjusted the bike for me and provided a bike lock and a helmet. - On Saturday, when I reported having trouble finding the beginning of the Rio Grande Trail, he offered to have his team either drop me off or ride with me to the opening so that I could find it. They also will pick you up along the trail if you bike toward Basalt and don't want to do the uphill ride back. - Later Saturday night, I realized I'd need a basket to carry my phone and wallet on the trail ride. Riley came to the hotel and attached a basket to the bike, before 9 a.m. Sunday, which is when I said I'd need it. In the basket, he left a map, highlighted with my route. -He picked it up on Monday when I left to go home. Riley consistently surpassed my expectations with each interaction. I only actually saw him one time, when he delivered the bike. The rest of this work was done behind the scenes. I wish every business were as accommodating!

Under-rated and too easily dismissed by experienced skiers. Have travelled to Aspen four times in…read morethe past several years and only on this trip visited Buttermilk. Accessed by (complimentary) town bus about 10 minutes from downtown Aspen the vibe is easy. Home to the X-Games and the half-pipe etc. still visible President's Day weekend. Staff friendly, lifts efficient - their are a variety of routes for beginner, intermediate and expert skiers. I experienced the group lessons for three days (to rediscover my ski legs) and found the quality of tuition excellent (ask for Bob Morse or his opinion on whom to learn with). Ultimately I spent five days skiing the resort and enjoyed it immensely - the ease with which I could build familiarity enabled me to focus on technique and the relatively light number of skiers meant the runs were not crowded. Interestingly I spoke at length with instructors who made the point that Buttermilk seemed to be where they had their fondest memories. The Cliffhouse at the summit serves some great food - if you are not skiing I noticed snow-shoers making their way up by foot or buying a lift ticket to go dine and enjoy the views of neighboring Highlands.

Some fun spots to dip into the trees or small sections of bumps. 5 lifts and a terrain park. Lots of ski school lessons for kids and adults. Ski school sucks up a lot of lift capacity. CliffHouse lodge on the summit is nice for lunch. Lower base buildings are new and fresh and clean. Shops. Food. Booze. Gear. Aspen priced so look away! Lots of entitlement here. Lots!! I think this would be a great place for an easy powder day. Nothing special here.
