I found myself in a situation where I rented one of their bear cans and finished Four Pass Loop after hours. Theres no after-hours drop off or contact information. Not cool when you're renting gear and unknown things are bound to happen. Luckily, the bartender in the bar underneath the store was cool enough to return for me the next day, with a $30 dollar tip. What really takes off the star though is the pretentious and "too cool" vibe from the employees. Ain't nobody got time for that. Being kind and understanding is free.

I was treated as if I didn't understand what I was talking about as the man helping me told me they "didn't recommend doing that on a new pair of skis" I have skied since I could walk and have had my skis detuned the last 5 years of my life immediately after coming out of the packaging. I paid $77 for the mount and wasn't given half of what I came to do. Will be going anywhere else to get my skis done. I highly recommend Incline, just across the way down the hall from Gorsuch at the base of Aspen.

Additionally, the store has a collection of adorable stuffed marmot mascots near the entrance(!).

If you forgot something, like your goggles, they have very reasonable ski accessories. Maybe not the best place to rent a snowboard, but for ski's these guys are number ONE in Aspen. Located right across the street from the W Hotel and down the block from the Gondola entrance, you cannot miss this place. Save money, be impressed and have good gear while you are visiting the magic of Aspen.

They even double checked the pricing and offered me an additional amount off of the end of season sale price. Ray offered some good boot liner advice as well. Won't buy skis anywhere else from now on.

Jack then decided there was nothing more to do, not even heating the shell which was supposed to be molded, and sold the boots which DID NOT FIT. He made ZERO effort to fit the boots. The boots ended up cutting off my fiancé's circulation. I was a racer, I know boots should be tight, but they should not make your feet go numb and certainly not for leisure. Fortunately, Aspen sports did the right thing and took the boots back. However, Jack's ego is far too big. He might be a great boot fitter but I guess he decides to whom he wants to be a good fitter. Will never go there again. We should have listened to the ski instructors and ski patrol who do not think highly of Jack. He only cares about his pros. Go elsewhere!

Ski butlers delivers A+++ service every time. From submitting my request to the delivery/boot fitting experience to the equipment itself, everything is flawless. Went in there to get new ski boots for my son and me. They tried to fit my son into a size 25 boot…read morewhen he measured to be a size 27. We requested to try on a size 27 and they said they did not have 27 in stock but did have size 25. My son's toes were curled up in size 25. Salesperson said "boot will pack out". Wrong, wrong wrong. They will not pack out two sizes. They tried to sell us a boot they had in stock knowingly it was wrong size. It was more important for them to move inventory than selling us the correct boot. We said we will not be buying the boots and then they said "oh we can have a pair of 27's shipped down from another store but you would have to pay shipping of $50". We said only if you waive the shipping. They refused so we said "no". They tried the same thing with me. Tried selling me a pair of boots that did not fit just because they did not have my size in stock. I went to a local competitor and they had correct size in stock and offered free heat molding. My son and I skied them last winter and they fit perfectly. Cripple Creek does not have your best interests in mind. Only thing they care about is moving inventory. This is so unfortunate. Not a fan of this store/company. Their motto should be "we just want to make money and don't care about fitting you correctly." Be cautious with these people. Do your homework as they do not appear to care about your interests. Go elsewhere.

First off, I'm not financially nor socially affiliated with Defiant Pack…read more I am a one time and recent purchaser of a custom constructed Toklat seatbag (small) for my fatbike that will be used on a 7 week supported N-S tour on the GDMBR this summer. With help of Defiant Pack and their beautifully constructed bag and my old frame bag that I already own, I hope to ride with the benefit of not wearing any back pack. Never spoke with them on the phone but had several back and forth email exchanges over 36 hrs (and their well designed and simple to view website, https://defiantpack.com/collections) convinced me that their pack was ideal for my purposes. They (unlike a more well established co. in Salida) were readily amenable to customize a saddle bag, with an extra loop to accommodate a small blinky light (for those long stretches on pavement) and had it delivered in well under a week. Not sure how long they've been in business but their "can do" (anything BUT defiant) attitude, workmanship and timely responses to queries will surely translate into big success and customer satisfaction. I'll definitely contact them for more new gear in the future...like a custom ski harness system to hike Highlands bowl. Thanks D.P.
