The staff is friendly, but their pricing is substantially higher than other offices. Even our dental insurance carrier was surprised by how much more they charge than other dentists. Insurance will only pay a portion, so YOU are left with the over-inflated balance. And be forewarned; if you don't agree to everything Dr. Linstrom suggests, they won't keep you as a patient. read more

Well ... this was an interesting experience. Several months ago I made an appointment with Dr. Linstrom's office because I wanted to get my teeth cleaned. I did not want x-rays. I did not want a dentist to examine my teeth. I simply wanted my teeth cleaned by a really good dental hygienist. The runaround started immediately. I was told I had to have dental x-rays even though mine were not old and that I had to have an examination by Dr. Linstrom. Because my end goal was to find a great dental hygienist in order to get a thorough teeth cleaning every couple of months - and because there was no other way around it - I acquiesced. It was kind of like going to a used car dealership - with technology. On a big screen over my head, Dr. Linstrom showed me what were ostensibly images of my teeth with red and green highlights on the images. Supposedly the red highlights meant you had a problem with those areas of your teeth and you needed to get it dealt with. In my case the projected bill was a little over $1500. Dr. Linstrom said that ALL my fairly recent fillings were not done up to his exacting specifications and needed to be replaced. He stuck a camera in my mouth and showed me the things he felt my former dentsist did wrong. WTH??? The dentist in Los Altos, California who put in my original feelings has hundreds of five star reviews on Yelp. No ratings below five stars! Dr. Lindstrom is scraping by with between one and two stars. First clue. Second clue: Dr Linstrom's reviews are pretty damaging with the exception of one. The Good News: The dental hygenist, Sammi Snyder, that worked with me several times over the last 6+ months is exceptional. Her work is extremely thorough and EXACTLY what I was looking for. I was prepared to keep going to see Sammi for a long time. Third clue: Dr Linstrom said I could not keep coming to his office to get my teeth cleaned because I chose not follow his recommendations to get my fillings popped out so he could replace them for $1500. This is utterly amazing to me. As an adult, I am not allowed to choose not to have dental work done that I do not believe is necessary and still be able to go to the dental hygienist of my choice. Caveat emptor. Let the buyer beware. I immediately made an appointment with Dr. White's office in Ashland, Oregon - a holistic dentist with a sterling reputation. I hope he has a dental hygienist as good as Sammi. SHE deserves 10 stars!!! read more

Beaware. I got a flyer in the mail. I needed a cleaning. Ive never had a cavity in my life. He took all these pictures of my teeth. An told me I had 12 cavities. An Gave me an estimate of $2500. I waited a month an went to another dentist. Didn't say a word. Guess what, not 1 cavity. Recently a friend of mine. Was telling me about a dentist who gave her 7 year old a root canal. That fell out a week later. Guess who the dentist was. Yep Dr. Linstrom. She paid again when it fell out. read more

Run to this office if you have dental needs! I love my dentist, all the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff and especially the fact that this office has the latest in equipment including microscopes in every room. Dr. Linstrom worked on my tooth yesterday with such a positive attitude, I am now sitting here pain free due to his skills and extensive experience!! I have been to many dentists during my lifetime as my mom gave all the enamel to my big sister but having been to various dentists, I can say that Dr. Linstrom is by far the best and we are so lucky to have him here in Medford! I am a patient of dr Linstrom and I feel that he is 100% dedicated to healthy teeth. All these other people saying they didn't have cavities and went to other dentist may not have cavities but they may have the start of tooth decay. I would like to see what their teeth look like in 20 years if they still have them. Dr. Linstrom uses a microscope to examine teeth. I had 4 areas of decay that could not be seen with simple dentist tools or the naked eye. I would rather take care of the problem now rather than wait. Those who don't want to take care of their tooth decay and wish to wait until it can be seen by the naked eye that's fine. Shouldn't wine about it and complain and leave poor review which says nothing about the office staff or dr.Linstrom who are wonderful and do very good work!!! I recommend him to everyone. And I have had a lot of dentists in the past. He is by far the best I've had so far. So don't listen to all these people who just want basic care and not what's best for their teeth. read more

I recently seen Dr Linstrom, I came into rhe office because my crown came off. I needed a crown and I was exsteamly nervous, but Dr Linstrom and staff put me at ease. I've been a patient of Dr. Linstrom's for a couple years now. The first time I went to him I was in severe pain and calling all over town trying to get someone to see me, as I didn't have an established dentist at the time. Everywhere I called was offering to get me in months down the road. Even an "emergency appointment" was well over a month out everywhere I called. In desperation, I called Dr. Linstrom's office because his advertising is very prominent (I usually avoid these kind of advertisements) and they said "can you come in tomorrow"? HECK YES I CAN. Admittedly, I am terrible at taking care of my teeth and don't like going to the dentist. This has resulted in quite a few problems, They don't judge, they genuinely care, and they take the time to make sure you understand what's happening. They use ultra modern technology to show you in real time what's going on, and take detailed pictures to sum everything up in a debrief after procedures. One other great thing about Dr. Linstrom's practice, you can watch a big screen TV mounted on the ceiling while they work on your teeth. This is just one way they make sure you are comfortable. I can't disagree more with a certain reviewer who just seems bent on attacking good people (and in a very immature manner I might add). Especially when it comes to the staff. I was shocked at what he called these wonderful, compassionate, and helpful people. I am welcomed and taken care of every time and I feel they truly want what's best for me. I have never been strong armed into anything and I always get detailed treatment plans and multiple options when available. I've also been generously taken care of without asking in certain things, just suffice it to say if you are a loyal client and something easy needs done, don't be surprised if afterward you hear "I saw that while I was in there and I just did it, that one's on me". This has happened more than once. I don't often review anything, but I have been so impressed with this place I feel people need to hear from a real client who has had nothing but great experiences here. And trust me, with my teeth, I have had a lot of experiences here. :-) read more

My experience was not good. I had several porcelain crowns done a few years ago. So far, I have had to have root canals on three of them. After much research, pain, money and another dentist, I have learned that trauma to the teeth and is what is causing all of the inflammation and infection. So much for "high tech dentistry" that he advertises. read more

Folks, sometime ago I responded to a promotional ad. for an exam by this dentist....x rays were taken and during the consultation I was advised that I needed to have one extraction 2 root canals and every molar replaced with a crown .since I had an exam not long before i became a little suspicious ,,i knew i needed to have a filling and possibly one crown,but that was it. When he noticed that i was becoming skeptical or unwilling to commit he became abusive ,,,When I asked him to at least treat one cavity he became indignant and told me to find another dentist,,he didn't have time to waste on me! ...I was shocked by his lack of ethics,,,he sent me a letter advising me that i was not 'a good match for the office'...Even refusing to provide me with a report of exam ...or cost estimate...I guess he was afraid to put anything in writing....All my dental work was done a few weeks later by a very trustworthy honest dentist and it was as i expected...for a very reasonable fee...I hope you pass this joker by... dont let him make a fool of you!....If you answer any of his promo ads. ,,At least get yourselves a SECOND OPINION..before you commit !! read more
