One thing about Restaurant Depot is that they're the champion of low prices. They absolutely knock…read moreit out of the park when it comes to dry goods & paper products. I cut my costs by around 10% when I started coming here. However, shopping here can be tough. It's stimulus overload. It's loud, bright, & stressful. Oftentimes they are out of vital products & there's no reliable way to check beforehand if they have something or not. One time last summer they were out of 12oz plastic cups for weeks. The employees work hard. The forklift guys always make me laugh. I don't have anything negative to say about them at all. However, they seem to be chronically understaffed. They never have enough registers open to manage the flow of customers, & I've had to wait up to 30 minutes in line to check out. Maybe the checkout system needs to be updated? Like prior reviews have mentioned, going to Restaurant Depot is never a FUN experience. It's a necessity for restaurant owners. I'm thankful that this place exists, but I think it needs some updating & TLC. Misc: - Average trip to Restaurant Depot takes me ~90 minutes. - I wear headphones to cut out some of the noise. - Get a cart WITHOUT the top shelf. I've basically concussed myself multiple times on that shelf. It's not worth it. - Take your time in there. Crunch the numbers to see which products save you the most money. - Don't forget your membership card!

It's soooo poorly run and it's literally a free for all trying to check out! Watching people cut in front of you from all angles with no one having any idea which lane they are in makes my blood boil each and every time I am forced to go to this poop hole .

During my recent visit, I witnessed three employees -- Aaron (AGM), Michelle (Manager), and Karen (Cashier) -- behaving in an extremely rude and unprofessional manner. Their behavior was not only directed toward paying members, including myself, but also towards fellow staff. It was disappointing to see such hostility from individuals in leadership positions who should be setting a positive example. I believe this kind of conduct reflects poorly on the environment at this location and contradicts the high standards Costco is known for. I hope this issue will be taken seriously and looked into promptly. And not only that, but I was in line with many other members and they were also concerned and saying the same thing I was it's like the management there does not even care about the way they treat paying members and also their own staff!!!! If this is how they act in front of other people who knows how they act or what they say in the break rooms. And I hate to say it I love Costco but this location in Avon, Ma needs to be investigated because the stuff that goes on here and the stuff I be hearing out loud it's just crazy.

The store is well kept, organized and clean, and is stocked. Costco dates are fun haha, staff is nice and people seem to have good attitude working at this location. Much closer for us and honestly just a really well run Costco overall. The store is always clean, organized, and easy to navigate even when it's busy. The staff deserves a lot of credit too. Every employee we've dealt with has been genuinely friendly. Not fake corporate friendly either. Actual "how's your day going?" kind of people who seem like they don't hate being there, which these days feels rare. We went yesterday with a very simple plan. Grab some meat, toilet paper, paper towels, and a case of Coke Zero. Standard Costco run. Somehow we left with all of that plus a Ninja slushy machine, a prep sink for my garage, six pounds of whole bean coffee, and a couple whole trout that we're grilling tonight. That place is dangerous in the best possible way. You walk in needing batteries and leave questioning whether you should buy a kayak and a gazebo. Checkout is another thing they do well here. They always seem to have plenty of registers open and the lines move fast. I'm an Executive Member and usually go during the early access hour, which is fantastic if you want to avoid the real chaos and shop in relative peace before the carts start colliding like a demolition derby. The gas station is also a huge plus. Prices are consistently better and even when the line looks intimidating, it moves quickly. My only minor complaint, and it's not enough to affect the rating at all, is the location of the food court. If you're just going in for a hot dog or pizza, you're kind of fighting upstream against everyone exiting the store. Not the end of the world, just an odd setup. Other than that, love this Costco. Rhode Island seriously needs to get the hint and build one already because half the parking lot in Sharon seems to have Rhode Island plates anyway.
