Let me be honest; most people love a cannoli, I don't. But, there is always something else, right? We went there twice. The place is horrible for ambience--it has none. It's 110 percent industrial which means it's not comfortable, it's not relaxing, it's just a food mill and a warm drink mill. Great little cafe. They offer standard lunch fare like sandwiches, wraps, and burgers, but that's not all. Their selection of baked goods and chocolates are the best in town. Service is always quick, and the staff aim to please. The interior is a bit basic, but based on how busy they get, this is probably intentional, to aid in cleanup. They do offer indoor and outdoor seating, but frequently this isn't enough. During the lunch rush, it's common for seating to be at capacity. You walk in and you are greeted by this amazing display of baked goodies. The glazed donuts are AMAZING! So fluffy on the inside and fresh. The breakfast sandwich was flavorful. The corned beef wasn't too salty. I also got a hot chocolate which was a bit too sweet for my liking, but I can see the appeal. Only thing I've had there that I didn't like was the croissant donuts, in my opinion they were kind of greasy and oily. Service was good. read more

Went a cute little bakery! Had so much in the cases that it was difficult to decide on what to get! Went with a Oreo and peanut butter brookie, cinnamon stick, 2 chocolate chip cookies, and a Cronut filled with canoli filling. Cost was $20 which I thought was reasonable. I was very excited to see that they had gluten free options for Thanksgiving desserts and we decided to try the food before we ordered. We went today, Friday, November 15th around noon time. It was busy, but they seemed to be handling things just fine. I advised the woman at the counter that I needed to have gluten free and what would she suggest? She said I could have any of the sandwiches on a gluten free roll. OK, great. I ordered a grilled portabella on the gluten free roll. DH ordered a roast beef panini. Just as the order was about to come out, they realized they had put my sandwich on a regular roll instead of gluten free, but they caught it, so they made a new one. The second one came out and it had macaroni salad on the plate, touching the sandwich. I told her mac salad is not gluten free and unfortunately, I couldn't eat that sandwich either since it had touched gluten and I would get sick. She took it back and had another made. In the meantime, DH bit into his sandwich to discover it was cold. It had been sitting too long, waiting for my second gluten free sandwich to be remade. He called the waitress over and told her it was cold, so she took it back. A few minutes later she brought back his sandwich, the same sandwich with a few bites out of it. He asked how she reheated it. She said it's a panini, so she put it back on the press. Let that sink in. They put an EATEN SANDWICH back on the panini press. So, anyone who had a panini today after we left has my husband's spit on their sandwich. How unsanitary! I took a look at my gluten free roll and had to ask if that too was cooked on the same panini press that gluten sandwiches were? Yep. OK, so I can't eat that sandwich either. So it not only has gluten on it, but my husband's spit and whoever else's spit that may have sent their sandwich back to be reheated. At this point, the server got snippy and asked if we wanted our money back. Yes, yes, we do. They happily refunded our money but still charged us for the one cup of coffee my husband drank while we waited, which was close to $4. I'm sorry, that's just very poor form. Had someone apologized and/or tried to make things right or if they gave us ALL our money back I wouldn't be leaving this review. Unfortunately, that's not how things went down. read more

Let's begin with the possibility of a name change. Anything but cannoli as their cannolis are a Step down from the supermarket cannolis. Sounds mean? Perhaps a tad harsh but I was surprised that their namesake dessert is not good at all. Soggy shell and a shell that was not filled all the way. A cannoli shell should be stuffed; even overstuffed. When you can see light through it, you've been duped. The occasion was my sons 30th birthday celebration. Ordinarily, I drive up to Florentines in Utica or down to schenectady to Villa Italia. But time wasn't on my side and a friend suggested Crisp cannoli. In fairness I bought several other pastries including sfogliatelles which were very good hence two stars. They helped get the overall score out of negative numbers. Next tome I will make the trip. Lesson learned. It saddens me when I pay good money for bad products and disappoint my family at the same time. Anywho......save your money read more

We order food delivery from Crisp quite often and have found that they are very inconsistent and not easy to work with. This salad was $15.50 before tax. It was a build your own salad that was to come with romaine, cucumbers and tomatoes and then we added onion, roasted red peppers, boiled egg, grilled chicken and mozzarella, each having an upcharge. The salad we received had no cucumber, no tomato. There were four small strips of peppers, a few bits of mozzarella and a few chopped red onions. The picture speaks for itself. When I called to have a new salad made properly, they offered to drive the cucumbers and tomato's back to us. We explained how ridiculous it was considering the salad was lacking in most other ingredients. It was only then that we were told we could drive the salad back and get a new one, which wasn't an option for us as we had the food delivered for a reason. We have given Crisp Cannoli a few tries but will no longer order from them. read more

I cannot recommend the Crisp Cannoli more. I have ordered both to-go and in-cafe food and it has all been amazing. They do specials (the lobster roll with fries was to die for). I was excited to see something open up in this corner of Schodack - we need more restaurants! And this is a great location right next to a Stewarts that gets a lot of traffic. Honestly, I debated going even lower with my stars but want to give this place a chance to get on their feet. I know it can take a while for a new business to get rolling, so I'm going to visit again and see if they have improved. Otherwise, my first order from here was really disappointing. We tried sausage egg and cheese sandwiches, which have real egg! But they were weirdly seasoned (some type of spice applied too heavily to the egg itself) and buttered very aggressively, so the whole sandwich got a bit mushy. The sausage was in link form with a very tough casing, so it was hard to bite through. We also tried a lobster claw pastry and some type of apple croissant doughnut. Both were overcooked quite a bit. The pastry shell had a slightly burnt taste to it and an off texture. The doughnut tasted too heavily of oil. They have a nice selection of baked goods and I'm really hoping that my next visit yields better results. Would love to see this place succeed! read more

Simply the best bake goods anywhere. The Crodo is legendary it inject it with home made raspberry filling from the exceptional jelly doughnuts and you'll think you're in heaven.
