Probably by far the best wrap I've had. This quaint restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee, lunch, dessert or a combination of all three. We ordered the turkey and cheese wrap and it came out great. The wrap was tight, easily to handle, and delicious. We also ordered fries without the seasoning and they were hot, crispy, golden, and delicious. The service was excellent. My daughter and I shared the meal and it was more than enough food. The array of desserts were tempting and I can say from previous, experience they are all delicious. I highly recommend you give this place a try. read more

We have been on a bit of a Dubai Chocolate kick this summer and a friend recommended that we visit Crisp Cannoli in East Greenbush. It's easy to find, and bigger inside than it appears from the outside. Everything in the display cases look like food art. The service was fast and friendly. The menu looks really good but we were there for one thing, The Dubai Persian which was utterly delicious, a light doughnut with pistachio cream filling and delicious creamy pistachio and crispy shredded kataifi on top. Today lunch date with my 15 year We stopped by The Crisp Cannoli - Bakery & Cafe Of course he got himself a bacon egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagle (That's his go to sandwich) I got chicken salad on a toasted croissant. Which comes with a side macaroni salad and a bag of chips Got 2 hot chocolates to wash everything down And of course had to get some goodies to bring home for later. This is a very popular place especially for young families. It has an upbeat, decor, friendly staff. I believe this is my third visit here for breakfast. There's lots of choices on the menu and à la cart opportunities. I like the variety and the fresh hot meals. The tree is a bit small so if you'd like to have the equal distribution, you might ask for two pieces of chorizo so you have enough for each half. I enjoyed the pastrami however I think it was missing a little something maybe either a mayonnaise or mustard on the side silly thing, but there's no salt or pepper to be found. You have to ask for water to be delivered to your table so why not just have a pitcher of ice water for people to help themselves while waiting for their meal? There always seems to be a delay with the coffees so I would suggest getting a second barista. We ordered a very simple half caff large coffee with cream, which came after our sandwiches. If you like cream in your coffee as I do, always ask for extra. The portions are large so if you're inclined either split a meal or ask for half to go home. The pastries and cookies and cakes look amazing although I was never brain enough to indulge. The food is definitely fresh at the Crisp Cannoli. Love the display counters filled with mouthwatering pastries including cupcakes, turnovers and of course, cannolis. The reason the cannolis stay crisp is that they're filled only after you've ordered them. My husband and I stood on line to place our breakfast order. It moved quickly. Fortunately, the restaurant wasn't overly crowded and both the staff and customers were very nice. The cappuccinos are great and the breakfast sandwiches are delish. I liked the old location, but a few years ago the business relocated to a newer and larger space. It's clean, modern and very inviting. The orders are taken fairly quickly in a rather unusual format but one that seems to work, so this isn't really a compliant, but rather simply an observation. All told, very pleasant experience. Rugelach taste like the ones I had growing up in NYC. Took home a bag of coffee beans to grind at home. Excellent coffee. So good I drink it black. Brownies are so decadent had to eat it in one sitting. Service is fast and courteous vitually no waiting even though very busy time. Ambiance very nice cozy decor to sit and relax while enjoying various breakfast sandwiches, pastries and coffee. Worth the trip from wherever. read more

Drove over from Scotia to give it a try since I heard they offer Beef on a Weck on Thursdays. The sandwich was on point! The bread they use is authentic and the roast beef had excellent flavor. My wife ordered a Cubano panini and she said it was very good as well. It's not a place that is near me but I definitely will go out of my way to patronize them again. As a lifelong Philadelphian which has a number of iconic cannoli shops, I'm going to channel my wife here (and I'd agree with her assessment, but she is the true connoisseur of sweets) and say that this is easily the best cannoli we've ever tried. The MAIN difference is the cannoli the day after. Lots of cannolis are as good on day 1. But the differentiator here is that there is some wizardry at play here, because the shells stayed crisp and crunchy after a day in the fridge. I can never order just one, but sometimes get overly ambitious, but to be greeted with that crunch on day two makes this worth the trip. Also. Their jelly donut is no less superb. I won't go into the same depth of detail, but the delicious donut is filled with a solid amount of jelly. Not too little. Not too much. Just right! Service is EXCELLENT. Can't speak to other foods because I can't get myself to try anything new. But I'm sure it's all spectacular. read more

Crisp Cannoli is one of the best pastry bakeries in the Albany area, full stop. If you're looking for a box of Italian pasties to bring home or to a party, you cannot do better than Crisp Cannoli. Naturally cannolis are stuffed to order, so the shell is always crisp and delicious. But as good as the cannolis are here, the almond horns, sfogliatelle and linzer cookies and fig danishes are every bit as luscious. I'm a frequent customer as I live fairly close by, and I have never had a bad cup of coffee there. If you're in the mood for something savory, The Crisp Cannoli has some of the best breakfast sandwiches in the area. They also have a great selection of panini's, but I confess that I've never been there for lunch, so cannot provide an honest review of the sandwich and panini selection. I don't know the owner, but he or she is clearly doing something right. The help is consistently friendly and courteous, which makes ordering very pleasant. The inside offers ample seating, and in warm weather they have outdoor seating as well. As you might guess, I'm a big fan of this establishment. If you live nearby, you have probably stopped in; but this place is well worth a trip from anywhere in the tri-city area. If you haven't tried it, put it on your list. So I have been going to the Crisp Cannoli since they moved into their new space. I love Jason and his staff and how much they try to benefit the community. I do have to admit that I've had better cannolis but I worked in a restaurant where I got to eat cannolis 5 minutes after the shells came out of the fryer. My husband and daughter love the peanut butter pie and I always get an éclair. All of the meals I've gotten have been great. From breakfast sandwiches to burgers, they've all been awesome. I am sorry to say that I can't agree with the 5 star reviews. My daughter took me there for my first time. I ordered two danish to take home. I ate one the day we bought them and the other the next day for breakfast. They were stale. They were so stale that I had to cut off the four sides of the red velvet cake topped with cream cheese icing to cut off the hard sides. The second danish which is sometimes called a lobster tail was even more stale and unedible. read more

This coffee bar/bakery is top notch! The service was friendly and there was ample seating. It's very busy at lunch time but it runs like a well-oiled machine. It's a large space but with cozy corners. I had the lobster tail pastry with custard inside and it was to die for! Crispy and flaky on the outside and lucious on the inside. The cappuccino was decent. I wanted a tuna sandwich but on a smaller bread which the girl at the counter said she couldn't accommodate because they didn't have that. I ended up buying a scoop of tuna, which was extremely flavorful and not overly-mayonaised. I later saw that the breakfast sandwiches were on smaller bread so I ordered one of those plain hard rolls to go to add my tuna salad to. It took FOREVER to get my bread, which made me late to work so that's why I took a star off, along with not just being accommodated by suggesting that bread from the start when I wanted a smaller sandwich. I really love this place. Decor is awesome. The staff couldn't be friendlier.It is quite noisy but I always order to go. I 'm not a sweets person so I don't go for the sweets. I go for the food which has always been fantastic. Until today. I ordered a BLTini which is a BLT on Panini bread. Also ordered hashbrowns. The bacon on the Panini was almost nonexistent. I could barely taste it. And yet the sandwich was extremely salty. Also, I love onions, but the macaroni salad was loaded with so many onions. It was inedible. All in all a disappointing experience, but I've had many others that were great. So I will definitely be returning. read more

Glad to see it back! The place looks great inside. The coffee is awesome and all the desserts are so delicious. Staff is friendly and owner is a great person which makes the experience there even better. Keeping it local, with this wonderful small bakery business. Its so close to home too, oops there goes dieting. Glad for the glazed bacon donuts and being able to have a crodo again in many flavors. My boyfriend really liked the coffee and apple danish as well. We both look forward to enjoying many visits here. Can't wait to order or pick up some holiday treats. Not only was the interior delightfully decorated, but the cases of baked goods were beautifully displayed and looked absolutely delicious! Disappointing experience. We came for a trial on the recommendation of a friend. I've gotten into the Cannoli chips and cream and bought one while waiting for our breakfast order to arrive. The salad dressing to-go container they use to put the cannoli cream inside the containers is no where near large enough to enjoy some cream with all the chips. I went back to the counter after to buy another container of chips and cream (the chips were good) and buy an extra small container for the chips as well as a second one for the new batch I planned on buying The lady said they wouldn't sell me another container. I could only buy the cream in 1 pound increments. I wouldn't need to buy any cream if they gave enough cream with their product to begin with. To force someone to buy an entire pound of cream is absurd. Charge $.50 or 0.99 for an extra one but make it an option just like pizza places sell extra blue cheese or wing sauce. But at least they give something reasonable with your order. It was annoying. I put the new chip container back and walked out bowing not to return for awhile Artuso's frozen pastries from the Bronx that can be bought in price chopper are delicious and I don't get any irritation buying their products. They are better from the store in Little Italy in the The Bronx but it's not convenient going there all the time. read more

Thrown together, falling apart when opened, not cut ( was very big) and mayo on the outside of the sandwich. Difficult to eat. Had eaten sandwiches there before, which were better, but still heavy on the bread light on the filling. Asked for tap water, came in tiny glass to accompany a pastrami with horseradish! Staff super nice, sandies can be customized which is also nice. But bottom line, stick with the pastries and cookies! read more
