Since that time they have been offering patients and their families in Martin and St Lucie counties services related to end of life care by a team of physicians, nurses, nursing assistant, social workers, and chaplains. To fund their mission, Treasure Coast Hospice operates a thrift store in Stuart which I have previously reviewed and this newer location in Port St Lucie. The store is located in a strip mall. It is one large room with racks of clothing, small pieces of furniture, household goods, collectibles, holiday items, books, small appliances, jewelry, and accessories. Everything was neat, clean, and attractively arranged. Prices were very fair and they had an additional sale on green tag clothes which were an additional 50 percent off, 50 percent off shoes, and 20 percent off pictures. If you were lucky enough to find a yellow tag clothing item, they were only $1. They had some other sales as well so that almost everything in the store was additionally discounted. I really wish I had the room for the watermelon serving dish. I also loved the little doggie creamer. They had a lot of vintage items which also caught my eye. This is a great organization which you can come out and support by shopping their stores and donating to them. Also you can help save the planet by keeping items out of the landfill. Thrifting can do a community a lot of good.

Easy to shop this location. Very neat and organized. But here's the incredible service they provided, I was purchasing 4 decorative pillows, when I got to the registers I realized two were not priced, before they would not sell it to me. Which I always thought was an unfavorable experience. But today the young lady said ill be right back took my two pillows, I thought she would come back and tell me as they have in the past that I could not purchase Nope to my pleasant surprise she returned with my pillows and had them priced. Amazing thank you goodwill for allowing us to purchase. A plus to the Gatlin Goodwill they are doing good Better experience here at Gatlin I've shopped at the palm city location and not as remarkable in cleanness and organized, not the above a beyond customer service as Gatlin. Palm City will not sell an item with no price. They take away and can not guarantee that it will be priced. Wow maybe they don't need the sales. Thank you Gatlin blvd location for being the best.

Their toy section is small , but I did find a collection of vintage pez dispensers really cool, and since it was my first time there, they gave me my book for free, which was a Disney Pixar how to draw character book, which was also a very neat find. He came up with the idea for a charity in response to a fellow classmates question, what is your church doing for the poor? The group chose St. V\incent de Paul, patron saint of the poor for their name and under the guidance of Sister Rosalie Rendu, they increased the number of people they were able to help. Volunteers of the organization are called Vincentians. The charity spread from France to Europe. In 1845 they established in St. Louis, Missouri. The organization is now world wide in 150 countries with 750,000 members. Every year across the country the St. Vincent De Paul Society provides 1.4 billion in aid to more than 4 million people every year. The store is staffed by volunteers and proceeds go to providing food and clothing, housing, rent and utility assistance, to the Port St. Lucie community. They sell donated furniture, household goods, lamps, small appliances, art collectibles, books, CD's, clothes, and accessories. They had a great selection and the prices were very reasonable in their clean and well organized store. They had a cute boutique section and you may even find vintage and antique pieces tucked into the shelves. Follow them on Facebook for notification of upcoming sales. If you are looking to donate, they accept household furniture, household goods, clothing, and toys in very good condition. Donations of food must be nonperishable and not expired. This long standing charitable organization is a wonderful place to shop and to give to.

These shopping excursions led the ladies to open their own consignment boutique, Whimsical Resale Boutique to bring high quality yet affordable clothing to their community. I became a fan as soon as I stepped foot into this darling store. The ladies have decked out their boutique with chandeliers, fun statues, plants, and lots of pink. They offer name brand ladies clothing, handbags, shoes, accessories, and small home furnishings all at a significant savings off retail price. The ladies were so warm and welcoming and ready to help if needed. They have a well appointed dressing room if you would like to try on the clothes. I saw sales throughout the store making the already affordable clothes and accessories even more tempting. Everything was carefully organized and arranged attractively making shopping a pleasure. I ended up leaving with a gorgeous floral Calvin top that is going to be perfect for Florida fall. if you end up in the Port St. Lucie area I highly recommend visiting Whimsical Resale Boutique.
