Like a number code lock or a directional lock that you see in typical escape rooms. Additionally the rooms were beautiful. That being said it was so different that we were unsure if we were allowed to interact the game in unique ways. Such as digging thorugh the sandy floor for a hidden key. Or dripping water on some of the props to open a door. I didn't even know that was allowed as escape rooms have a long list of rules on how you may interact with the game. So I feel somewhat cheated as I thought those actions would of been prohibited but were actually the main game. I would challenge you guys to find a way to show this is a part of the game while not explicitly giving it away. Overall, this is an amazing escape room and even if I have some gripes this place definitely spoiled every escape room I'll ever play.

We walked in really excited and before even stepping foot into the escape room we were condescended to. The directions given to us included phrases such as "you're not special" and "this isn't about your ego." Don't get me wrong, I have worked in customer service and healthcare and other settings that require you to be stern and blunt with people at times. However, that should be reserved for situations where it is warranted. To treat every single person who walks through the door as if they have damaged property is unnecessary. I didn't come with a group of rowdy teenagers. It was two married couples and two young adults. A very gentle and respectful group. One person in our party was brought to tears by the way we were spoken to during the game. We were repeatedly yelled at, spoken down to, and treated as if we were a bother. We all felt like we were walking on egg shells. It's disappointing to have participated in a unique escape room, but have everyone leave feeling downcast and uncomfortable. I have left very few reviews in my life, but wanted to leave this feedback so that constructive changes could be made for the survival of the business, especially since the escape rooms themselves are a special thing. I recommend conversations with staff or even staff changes to create a more positive experience for your guests.

Here for a work function... The place is awesome! It was in the A/C (big bonus during Oklahoma…read moresummer heats) We arrived and signed waivers via a QR code. I made myself a little less nervous about performing axe throwing with a Miller lite - served to me with a smile from Taylor (apologies for misspelled). We as a group ate catered in City bites provided by my boss whom was also here. We were coached up by our host Taylor, she educated us on the safety stuff and away we went. Of course I love competition - so we divided into 2 teams of 4 draft pick style ... My team ended up losing all 3 sets. Did I have fun you ask... Oh yeah. This was a fun team activity and I feel like our sports medicine team members enjoyed it. The bathrooms were spotless. The parking lot area is quaint...next door neighbors on the building is the cannabis store... So that was a nice fragrance in the area. Beers were as expected... High in Price... But I understand and didn't mind paying $5per for a couple Miller Lites... (You make your money to spend it how you want right?) Plus it was early Friday afternoon and I was off work!!! I'm not sure what the cost of the facility rental was and I do remember we killed some bottles of water as a group... But either way this was a FUN time and I am eager to get back. If you have never done it... You should stop by and challenge yourself... You might even fall in love. Thank you for having My Sports Medicine group in for a great time!!! Respectfully, Bryan Yukon, Oklahoma

Such a great time and the instructor was informative and made safety protocols clear.read more

Feels like a warehouse with bay areas and barstools. I was kind of hoping there would be adult beverages and food, but it was more like waters, sodas and candy bars. You're definitely just going to throw axes and leave. Don't plan to hang out afterwards. Some of the targets/wood panels could probably be replaced. Parking is a challenge if there is a basketball tournament going on (next to the Hive basketball gym). However, the place is very clean and things were constantly being wiped down while we were there. The person giving instructions was great! He was friendly and gave good suggestions with techniques. He was patient as well. There's a kids area. Looks like it can be rented for birthday parties. It was easy to make a reservation at Urban Tomahawk. We made it the same day. Highly recommend reserving a bay for a weekend night because it was starting to get busy as we were wrapping up our game. Now that I know what to expect, I would try it out again. Definitely planning to eat before or afterwards though!

The guy, that I assume was the owner, was really nice and went through a short training session with us. He showed us a few different techniques and let us go for it. You get to throw an axe and/or a tomahawk. I found that I excelled with the tomahawk. It feels like kind of an aggressive "sport" but it's great for getting some pent us aggression out, especially right now with the whole covid situation. We went at dinner time, so we had the whole place to ourselves. I highly recommend checking out Urban Tomahawk for a unique experience. The prices are reasonable and it's a lot of fun. You won't regret it.
