The ground outside the venue was mostly large gravel up closest to the entrance, and small gravel further away (like where most people ended up parking). It wasn't the most level ground, which made it a bit difficult for those of us in high heels! It also didn't help that it had rained earlier that day, so there were tons of puddles... so many that you could barely avoid stepping in dirty water, not to mention the wetness paired with the gravel paired with tall shoes just made for a slightly wobbly walk inside. Not the worst thing ever, but if I were the venue, I'd definitely consider paving more of the ground outside to counteract this! There is a small deck type thing out of the front. They have stairs and also a ramp up to this deck which leads to the front door entrance. Inside was smaller than I expected it to be, but it definitely fit everyone that came to the wedding and the reception. It has sort of a mix of the cute country vibe and the fancy warehouse vibe thing going on. I believe you could see the bricks inside, and there were also barn doors on the windows just for example. There was a small balcony in the back. From what I could tell the only way to get up to the balcony was by stairs. Then through a hallway in the back they also have bathrooms and a groomsmen room and bridesmaids room. Because the ceremony and reception were both here, we had to all go outside to wait for them to switch from rows of chairs to tables. I'm not sure if the venue itself was in charge of doing this, or some outside third party, but it didn't take too long (maybe 10-15 minutes). Luckily, we had food and a coffee bar to keep us occupied while waiting for this switch.

The desserts were so sorry looking, they must've been at least 2-3 days old. The lemon tart was disgusting, a small dollop of lemon curd in a stale pastry cup; the "assorted cake dots" was 1 tiny bite of cake - literally size of a quarter. Macaron was store-bought. We did not get the scone with jam and cream that I pre-ordered. Nothing was really edible on the entire tray. This was THE SINGLE WORST dining experience I have ever had, embarrassing to say the least. The manager was walking around the restaurant in a weird jogging suit kinda outfit, very unprofessional. The servers were very polite but that really doesn't make up for the fact that they couldn't put together a proper tea. Don't waste your money. Oh, and bring cash, because they'll slap a 5% fee if you use card. This place is a huge embarrassment to Oklahoma, don't waster your time and money.

Earlier this week, I took my kids to Red Door Escape Room, for their first escape room experience. They loved it and immediately asked to go back! I prefer supporting small, local businesses any time I can, so I chose Moore Escape Rooms for our next adventure! We chose Mystery Mountain. At $27 per person, it ended up feeling like a scam, to sit in a fully lit room and open locks for an hour. Poorly clued puzzles required an unreasonable leap in thinking. Specifically, after solving a clue and opening a lock, there was no logical next step, unless we got a hint from the employee. We'd already figured out and attempted most of the hints by the time they showed up on the screen, but didn't know where or how to apply them. I'm not sure if we were doing the directional locks wrong, but the coordinates that opened the lock, were ones we'd already figured out and used. Equipment error shouldn't have been able to ruin the entire experience. Also, there wasn't other things for people to do in the room simultaneously, so we ended up sitting in a circle, in the middle of the dirty AstroTurf, all trying to work off the same pieces of paper, everyone holding a lock in their hands. Boring. I assumed the lights would at least dim, the closer to sunset it became, to add a sense of urgency to the gameplay! Nope, just a fully lit fluorescent bulb overhead. No background forest noises either. They're was just very little attention shown to game immersion. The room could've used a better mix of puzzles and tasks (including finding hidden items) in addition to ciphers and locks. This could've encouraged different thinking strategies and some physical activity. I'd love a refund, but I know that's a big ask. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back and I will be leaving this same review online, not because I'm mad, but because that's a lot of money to spend on an experience that not much care, maintenance, or thought seemed to go into.
