Small campground next to Palo Duro Canyon State Park, and right on the canyon rim. Same location as…read morethe Palo Duro zip line. The nice folks who checked us in and the spectacular location are worth much more than three stars. Additional pluses: the sites are mostly level and the grade is flatter than the state park. Negatives: we had to change sites to find working electricity and available water. Biggest issue: THERE CURRENTLY ARE NO BATHROOMS OR SHOWERS. The bathroom facility has burned to the ground, which I imagine has been awful for the owners. However, I wish this had been on their website and in the reservation confirmation when we booked our site a week ago. Our trailer does not have a bathroom or shower, so we likely would've changed travel plans if we had known. Overall, it's a fine campground (tents are here, too), feels remote but is near restaurants, and it's nice to be able to book online. I advise asking about facilities before booking, though.

Even with it being no frills, I really enjoyed this RV spot. It is right down the road from Palo Duro Entrance. Across the road is the Jeep Tours which was allowing hiking to get access to the canyon since the State Park was limiting visitors to Day passes due to COVID-19. In the evening at the RV park, we were able to walk down to the canyon area and had beautiful views. Absolutely gorgeous! All of the staff at the site was very nice. They kept the area clean and tidy and they are making many improvements to the site including mini-cabins which are really cute. I would stay again at this RV campsite.

Such a fun find in Amarillo!…read more They've got a few escape rooms, but we came for the mini golf--and it was a blast. 18 holes with some surprisingly tricky shots, and the neon lights definitely add a little extra challenge What really made it stand out were the throwback-style games mixed in along the way before some of the holes. It kept things fun and a little unexpected the whole time. Overall just a super easy, laid-back spot to hang out. If you're in the area and want to switch things up, this is a great pick. We'd definitely go back!

It is filled with gravel or small Pebbles and there is a partial fence around it. There's lots of beautiful green grass for running and playing ball and walking dogs and some pretty trees to offer shade when they're full of leaves. We saw lots of families here when we brought the kids here to play. There is a church next door and a school right across the street so it feels like a perfectly safe place to bring the kids to play. They had a great time!.

Anybody can do this easy ride - even kids and people who've never been on a horse. This time of year, I liked how they get started at 7:30 or 7:45 as it's not very hot yet. It would get to near 100F later in the day but the temp at 7:30 was only 70 something. Some of the horses are wearing masks and eye protection too - I like that. Looking forward to going back soon.

First the people working there were super accommodating and held the ride for us a few minutes as it was not too busy that day and we were scrambling to get there. Amazing vistas; not too much talking but nice quiet to let you soak it all in. Our guide answered questions and pointed out a few things... but mostly let us just be and be with nature! Highly recommended this ride!
