Dan told me that there was the possibility that the storm might have killed them due to the freeze. However, he checked all around the house to see if he could find any wasps. He also treated the area where the wasps had been nesting. Dan did not charge for his visit, and told me to call him if the wasps appeared after the weather was sunny and warm again.
