I called Rocky Mountain Pest Control after working with Orkin for over 18 months with no success. Some very small grass flies that no one at Orkin had apparently ever seen before (they actually sent a specimen to a university to have it identified) infested my home in Breckenridge. Because the infestation seemed to be spreading to other rooms, I finally gave up on Orkin and called Rocky Mountain Pest control. I received prompt, superior service and after just five monthly treatments, these pests have been completely eradicated. It seems too good to be true - but yes, this is how good this company is. Wow! They contacted me quickly, came out quickly, and got rid of our horrible wasp problem quickly. Like give-Jimmy-John's-a-run-for-their-money fast. Their whole team is so friendly and I worry less about my son's safety in the yard without the 11 wasps nests (yes, 11 - we thought we had 5 - they found more). Rare find stop your search now. I'm a big yelper but not one to take the time to leave reviews but had to leave one in this case. Called Rocky Mountain after reading positive reviews and glad I did. Daniel couldn't have been nicer over the phone as I shared I had a rodent problem in my hot tub. He got me scheduled for the next day and his brother Matthew came down to Castle Rock to trouble shoot. Got me fixed up quickly, gave me great advice about how to mitigate future issues, and did not charge me enough...yes you heard that correctly. I will be calling them back in the spring when bat season returns and to get on a regular service plan. I'd like to take a minute to seriously applaud and thank Rocky Mountain Pest Control. While I cannot specifically speak to any services performed, I would like to provide a review of their clear ethics and genuine kindness. Our dog got fleas from a family member's dog and we were worried she spread fleas all over the carpeted room of our house before we were able to give her a flea bath. I contacted RMPC on a holiday weekend and they still responded quickly and were able to come out to the house that Monday; I was stressed about flea spread with my toddler in the house, so I really appreciated the quick response. The team arrived and did an inspection of the area we were concerned about. It sounds like we actually caught the fleas in time because he and his teammate couldn't find any, but I was fully ready to tap my credit card and have them spray the entire house immediately. Daniel has been doing this for many years and it was evident that he knows what he is talking about. He and his teammate were 100% honest with me- even knowing how stressed I was and willing to have the service done- and reassured me that everything looked okay and I didn't actually need any extermination services done. Daniel showed me how to check for fleas myself so I could continue to monitor the area for the next few days. He gave me clear instructions on how to clean the house and clean my toddler's toys to err on the side of caution. And on top of that all, Daniel texted me a few days later to check in and make sure everything was still okay. I am so thankful that there are companies out there like RMPC who are so ethical and honest. I can be naive and it is easy for companies to take advantage of that. I may not have needed their extermination service that day, but- without question or hesitation- I will be calling them if I ever need pest help or any friends or family need a recommendation. The cherry on top of the sundae is that if I had needed their assistance, their fees were much more reasonable than a few other companies from whom I received quotes. An animal has started living under my shed and its driving my dog crazy. I asked for quotes from a few companies to have someone come out and assess what could be done. Daniel was the first to respond, came out, suggested I try some ultrasonic lights and rodent repellent spray first, and have him come back in the spring if that didn't solve the problem so they could install contractor mesh to keep them out once and for all. He didn't charge anything for the inspection, whereas other companies quoted me up to $125 just to come and look at it. I hope I don't need pest control again but if I do, I'll for sure be calling Daniel and Rocky Mountain Pest Control! read more
