I feel like the employees aren't very invested in helping you and if you ask a a question it feels like a burden on them. I had called to inquire about store hours and let them know that I had come by during their listed hours but the closed sign was up and they told me there's no way that had happened. Additionally, I purchase some interchangeable needles and the price that rung up was higher than the sticker price. I hadn't noticed until I got home, so then I went back to the store a couple days later with the stickers still on there. They told me it was because of the tariffs, which I completely understand, but better customer service would honor the price that was listed on the item. They also made it feel as though it was my fault for not knowing the prices had increased (I don't live in Cleveland, so I only come to shop when I'm in town to see family). Overall, I've had multiple recent experiences with the shop that were unpleasant. I'm disappointed since the selection is nice, but given the service I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Megan was incredibly helpful and patient, even though I was extremely frustrated. "Karol with a K" gave me helpful advice when I brought my machine to the shop for "open studio." Though I find the idea of crochet too intimidating to try it myself, the classes I overheard while quilting sounded like they were the sort of classes I would take if I were brave enough to try crochet. The shop also does charity work. Last year, I participated in a sew-a-thon where we made pillowcases and stuffed animals for a charity that provides beds to families who can't afford beds for their children. They have a small selection of very nice fabric and notions. Something I have not seen anywhere else is a scissor holster that one attaches to one's machine so the thread scissors don't get misplaced. I highly recommend this shop.

Even if this was unintentional or due to inventory or pricing inconsistencies, it looks really bad. Pricing differences tied to race, especially in children's toys, shouldn't happen at all. It feels careless and insensitive, and it made me uncomfortable as a customer. Hobby Lobby already has a reputation for being out of touch at times, and this just adds to that perception. At the very least, pricing should be consistent and clearly explained so situations like this don't happen. I hope the company takes a closer look at how products are priced and displayed, because this kind of thing shouldn't be brushed off as "just a mistake."

It made me consider pink tree this year. Despite extensive inventory, I wasn't able to find anything that I was looking for. Specifically cross stitch kits and paint by the numbers kits. The inventory displayed online did not match store display. There was no one to ask so I purchased only one item - cross stitch spruce kit. SERVICE: There is no service at this store. It makes no sense because there are plenty of employees on the sales floor. Folks working at the front of the store at a table don't acknowledge any guests. Employees working the checkout to help customers with checkout don't engage with customers. It's very robotic transaction with self-checkout and no human interaction. It's really strange and should change. I liked holiday inventory at the store. I'm not very enthusiastic about service at the store. If there was friendliness or approachability, I would inquire about more items and get them. The latter makes me not want to visit again.
