He came back two weeks later, after canceling us at least once, and he decided only one part needed to be replaced. Washing machine worked for one load and was again broken. After another week or two, Whirlpool sent out a different service repair company technician who fixed the washing machine within 15 minutes. We also purchased Epic Protect 5 year extended insurance when we bought the washing machine. According to the insurance, we are entitled to $50 for laundromat services. We have called and emailed epic protect multiple times and have not received any response. We also sent an email twice to our sales rep at home appliance regarding the insurance and asking for assistance, and have received no response from him. We have been happy with home appliance in the past, but obviously things are different now.

The tech spent 10 minutes behind the fridge on the phone with Frigidaire to diagnose then gave me an electronic invoice for $260 labor for a job that takes less than 30 minutes and $247.80 for parts that were $130 in total online for the most expensive OAM parts (they were much cheaper on Amazon, but for the purpose of my discontentment, I'm sharing the most expensive costs I could find at any retailer). Because I decided to decline after questioning the invoice details, I was on the hook for $199 diagnostic fee + $20 restocking fee for the parts. Naturally, I don't want to give them $220 for a 10 minute visit, and I need the repair but don't have time for additional research to find a more honest company at this point, so I will pay them to do the work, but will NEVER refer anyone or use that business again. Contacted them june 6th because I heard nothing and I got a gentleman who was rude and unprofessional when I asked why I did not hear anything from them since it was supposed to be two weeks and he replies it was on back order so we will get the part delivered to us june 11th. When I then asked again why I was not contacted he replied with we have too many customers to call for each part on back order. Then I told him it was unprofessional for the customer to not hear anything in regards to the time we waited and were patient with them to not constantly call and his excuse was that the receptionist went home sick and he cannot do anything about the delay in the board. He was then advised to call and let us know there was delay in the part which would have solved the issue. The unprofessionalism is absurd, not apologizing or taking accountability makes it so much worse to deal with them. To have to wait almost two months for a dishwasher to be fixed is ridiculous. My husband looked up online the cost of the board and time in which we have to wait for the part is two weeks, so why is this company having a back order issue? My mind is blown how this company can be in business for the 75 years the man claimed they have been in business for when arguing with me when questioned on his lack of professional attitude.
