The assortment includes women's apparel, household goods, cute purses, knits, totes, coffee table books, skincare items, decor, kids toys, and everything in between. You can literally walk in and purchase everything on your Christmas list or shop for a certain someone. Talk about efficiency! Around Christmas, Luster has visual lists of gifts for certain people in your like on Instagram like "gift guide for travel" queen. This brings me back to the times we used to read magazines and find these lists there. The lists are very helpful! Year round, their website is very well organized and you can quickly find categories/gift personas. The gifts can also accommodate various budgets. Some items are as low as $12, plenty of options under $50. Apparel tends to be more pricey (around $60-200), and goes up to size L. I was hoping to find a gift bag or a box at Luster for an upcoming girls' Christmas gift exchange. I already have the gifts but need to package them. Surprisingly, the gift shop had no wrapping paper, boxes, bags, or anything for packaging. I was hoping for some unique designs and high quality. I feel like it would be a nice addition to any gifts purchased here. I also then found out that no other surrounding shops at Van Aken seem to have this based on a quick internet search. SERVICE: I didn't experience any service - no greeting and no offer of assistance. I found it quite impersonal. PARKING: There are multiple parking lots at Van Aken - surface lot and parking garage. I can see myself returning to shop for quick gifts in the future and utilizing gift lists. Next time I'll need more time to focus on the extensive inventory. Although to be honest, the lack of service during my visit would make me consider other boutiques around the area first.

Time to tell the world after visiting Wild Iris a few times now! AMBIANCE: Wild Iris is a two-story building that features multi-room shopping on the first floor and event space on the second floor. The store is comprised of multiple rooms with an assortment of home decor. There is no particular separate theme (such as housewares in one room). There is a kids room, but other than that every nook has home decor, clothing, skincare, jewelry, housewares, and more. It's fun to walk around the space and look for treasures. The event space is available for rental for events and photoshoots. During my last visits there for shopping and entrepreneurial events, the event space had industrial chic look and plush couches. The space was very presentable for a professional yet stylish setting. There were plenty of spaces to sit down and network. I'm not confident whether this space is decorated for the holiday for your photoshoots or events, check with the venue. INVENTORY: The inventory looks refined and expensive. Yet there are plenty of finds under $40 for gifting or self-splurging. The store has seasonal gifts for every occasion. The store currently has ample Christmas inventory - decorative pillows, Christmas ornaments, faux gingerbreads, Christmas China, deer decor, and more. I'll be returning to shop for two cool things I've seen and reflected on. One, Christmas ornament for White Elephant exchange. Two, paper Christmas decor ($30 something). The latter is a very cute set that will work for my decor. I have a cat, and he loves to take down and nibble on decorations hence paper trees. SERVICE: The service is always friendly. I always get greeted with a friendly attitude. PARKING: Olde Avon Village has ample parking, multiple parking lots. It is a little challenging to find the entrance to the plaza, watch signage closely. NEARBY ATTRACTIONS: You can make a day out of your visit to Olde Avon Village and Wild Iris. There are plenty of places to eat and entrain! I recommend Tree House Gallery and Tea Room, or Chez Michel for a warm beverage and lunch. Both are in the same plaza and within walking distance. I recommend visiting Wild Iris for decorating your own home or gifting. You can get gifts for multiple people on your list at this store. The store really has one-of-a-kind and gorgeous items!

When I think of Cuyahoga Collective, I think of a more upscale version of Cleveland and Ohio themed merchandise. From beautiful art to clothing and home decor, for me, this is the pinnacle of a Cleveland themed store. They carry unique themes of local pride amongst the merchandise. For example, as of December 2020 they have a super cute Parks collection portraying nature gems. You can even find coffee, cigars and jewelry. They are always changing their merchandise out and always have sales online and in their immaculately organized store. Seriously, this place just makes me so happy! I'm always drawn to their art though, which is modern, sleek and makes reference to Cleveland history. As a boater, I've loved buying different nautical themed items here. From "Don't Give Up The Ship" mugs and stickers to sailing art prints, I've bought several lovely gifts here for other boaters and sailors in my life.
