I remember I once took my Piggy Piggy here. In fact, that was my first visit to this fantastic park. She loved it but didn't like the stairs. She would do five stairs and then need a 45 minute rest. I wanted to go to the top and see the views so I just carried her - she didn't mind - shameless - I loved how based she was - I found that so attractive - so confident. The views here are incredible near the top - you can see in all directions once you clear the trees - all the way to the bay. Its usually got some wind blowing through the old trees and you can hear that as you relax at one of the many well placed benches. Its very romantic. The park is circular in shape and hilly - around the perimeter there is tons of parking - I sometimes dream of living across from a park like this where I can enjoy all the green and have none of the work. Probably a park where you would never see it unless you live nearby. The best part of having a dog is that if forces you to try something new every day as they like to sniff around and act as if they are Christopher Columbus with this instant attitude like they were the first to find this place and now own it if they tinkle or sprinkle around here and there. How far would I drive to come here? Maybe 14 minutes. 4 stars.

What I love…read moremost about Holly Park is how you truly get a 360 view of San Francisco as Holly Park structurally is a round park. Whether you are doing a morning walk with your dog with a cup of coffee in your hand, hanging with your friends, taking your child to the playground, basking in the sun reading a book, or sweating off your energy with a basketball game or pickleball rally, Holly Park has space for it all. I could be wrong but I believe there is only 1 playground, 1 basketball court, and 1 Tennis court. There are public restrooms. There is an ample amount of parking despite being a residential area.

The play structures are all designed really well with slides that looked like a hollowed log, wood stairs, rock climbing fixtures and more. This park often gets crowded and I understand why. My niece loves this park, she can easily kill 2 hours running around - going from the big structure to the little structure. The park also has a baseball field and picnic areas. Street parking only and a short walk to the main play area from the sidewalk.

The weather is generally pretty nice because the hills around Brisbane will keep out the fog for most of the day. The field is kept in very good condition and it is generally available when there are no games going on. Brisbane residents can get a discount for reserving the field. Nothing better than getting some sun, shagging fly balls and hitting them over the fence!

Today this place is located in the Glen Park neighborhood of San Francisco and it's called Glen Canyon Park and Recreation. On a Spring stroll you can enjoy the sun in San Francisco and go out for a jog and hike and also walk the dog at Glen Canyon Park. This place feels as you stepped into nature inside a forest and canyon outside San Francisco. This place looks far from the scenery around the Civic Center. You will also find a community painted mural which reflects the Glen Canyon Park habitat like the animals and birds designed by animated television series Bob Burgers artist Sirron Norris. Basketball court, tennis court, baseball field, another huge grass field, 2 playground for kids (one for babies & toddlers) (another for bigger kids) There's a small classroom for youth /counseling programs and a public bathroom. It's pretty big, but is not kept clean, but okay to use. There's one male urinal (open, no stall or door) and one large toilet (they can fit another 2 toilet stalls) which have urine on the floor of all the times we went. I have to pour water on the floor to wash the bottoms of our shoes. The playground gets crowded some times which is always a hassle. Some kids don't know how to share and be patience, you have to watch your kids closely. Overall a nice park to chill

Lots of options here: - A large field…read morewith baseball diamond (I've never actually seen anyone play baseball here, so it's just a huge field for my dog to run around on!) - A tennis court - A basketball court - 2 decent sized playground structures - one for toddlers, one for kids (though my 2-year-old can play on both!). There is also sand under the structures, which is a huge plus. Both structures are gated off. A friend who lives a block away and comes pretty often says this playground is always busy, and it probably is compared to others in the city, but your luck can vary. I've come at 10am on a Saturday and it was relatively empty, 5pm on a weekday when it was packed, and 1pm on a weekday when it was pretty busy. There are lots of trees around the playground, so there's plenty of shade. There are bathrooms here, though half the time one of them is "out of service", and they are generally pretty dirty. No dedicated parking lot, but there are a lot of angled spots along Madrid by the main park entrance. There's also a community center with a large room; pre-COVID, there was free Zumba at 9am every Saturday. A pretty low-impact, beginner-level class, but decent as a free resource! I've heard you can also rent this community center (for kid's birthdays, etc).

There's a parking lot and quite a bit of street parking--very easy. Also accessible via Muni of course. Dogs run free and I love seeing people of all generations and backgrounds speaking different languages enjoying the park.
