Parklab is actually just a quieter version of Spark Social, which is right across the street, where most of the food trucks are located. There is mini golf available at Parklab but the customer service was very lacking. Honestly they should really do a better job with hiring young people -- they act like they couldn't care less about you participating or not... UHH HELLO, you want more people so that you actually have a job... We checked out a variety of things and I wrote individual reviews for each place we tried.

It was a garbage filled alley that was frequented by drug dealers before. The Recreation and Park Department manages over 35 gardens that are on City-owned property. This is one of those community gardens where people can grow plants for personal use. Located at Bush Street and Mason Street, Nob Hill. Like most of the gardens, this one is not used by a lot of people and is a good place to relax & smell the wide variety of flowers and other plants here.

The park is also impressively clean and well maintained, which really adds to the overall experience. It's a great place to bring your dogs, kids, or simply enjoy some solo time outdoors. There's plenty of open space for dogs to stroll comfortably, and the sandy beach area is a fun bonus for families with kids. There is also plenty of parking around, with 2 parking lots nearby.

We stumbled upon this simulator ride while walking around Pier 39 and decided to give it a try. It…read moreactually reminded us a lot of Disneyland's Soarin' Over California, but without the lines, we had the whole theater to ourselves, which is pretty amazing considering amount of tourists in SF. ​We ended up doing two rides over two days. The San Francisco flight was a bit dizzying but great and the T-Rex dinosaur experience was fully computer-generated but still a lot of fun. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and features immersive details like tilting seats and wind effects from fans. It would be nice if they also added mists when you fly over the ocean. It's wasn't too expensive I believe it was $15 for adults and $13 for kids. Its something different to do if the weather is not great.

I did the flyer ride. It is about a seven or eight minute ride, It was a lot of fun. It's one of those where you sit in the seats, and then the floor drops out from under you, and it is like you are flying over the city. The wind blows in your face, and when you were going over the water, you feel just a little bit of a spray. I don't want to give anything away, but it does take you all over the city. It was really a lot of fun. The only reason I'm taking off a star, is because the flyer ride is a bit expensive. It's $14 per person, adult or child. That wasn't too bad for myself, but if you are more than two or three people, it can add up. Regardless, it was well worth the money for myself to do. I wouldn't come back to see the same movie, but if they changed it, I would ride it again.. This ride is also part of the "San Francisco city pass. I had fun.. Thanks!

Instead I…read morepaid 90 bucks to fight a blow dryer that just refused to die a tiny printer that already looked sad and a hotel coffee machine that honestly didn't deserve this fate. They gave us some wine bottles to throw which sounded fun until we realized they don't explode like in the movies. Just sad little thuds against the wall. We ended up smashing a few on the floor just to feel something. The whole thing was over in under ten minutes and I still had plenty of rage left. The axe throwing area looked way more fun so maybe that's where the real action is. Glad I tried the smash room once but yeah not doing that again.

Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) is a gigantic recreational area which includes large…read moreareas such as Marin Headlands and Muir Woods National Monument. It's located mostly at the North Bay which is next to cities like Sausalito, Marin Bay, and Mill Valley. As of today, I went with my friend to Marin Headlands to take some pictures. Since it's really scenic and naturalistic there, I can imagine that other parts of GGNRA. Keep in mind that some areas such as Muir Woods National Monument require fees for entry. I highly recommend for hikers, photographers, and other adventurers to come here because the nature is really nice here. You may want to bring water and snacks on the way unless you're planning to eat out after.
