We always loved Crockett Doodles. Ordered a dog a few years ago, arrived perfectly in perfect condition and health, perfect shipment time, and nothing went wrong with him. EVER! 100% 10/10 would recommend!

Reposting my reviews because the business requested my review be removed claiming that it's not for the right business. But it is. I paid an extra $449 to have my dog delivered from SC to NJ. Original review: Dishonest pricing. They will charge you the full $600 premium for a "mini to medium" doodle. Yet you are more than likely going to end up with a 60+ lbs doodle. They will claim it's a one off, however there are many owners with similar experience. Would you still love your dog? Absolutely! But just realize how much more it would cost in food, grooming, health, boarding, training and maintenance, etc. when you have a 60+ lbs dog instead of a 30 lbs dog.

I would be very careful with this company. It is not a breeder. Do your research, know how breeders operate and industry standard practices, and what your rights are as a "buyer" of bred dogs. Consult vet expertise prior to depositing. This company uses common corporate marketing practices in order to confuse the consumer, preying on family's love and compassion for a new family member. The BBB describes Crockett Doodles as a dog breeding and marketing company. Breeders are typically compassionate for animal care rather than sales focused. Know what a puppy mill is, including how they impact a vulnerable dog's lifecycle, and ask yourself if any clues of mill practices pop up from this company while you learn about them. Confusing the consumer with lots of conflicting language, and expressing with flowery loving language, is a tactic. Their websites are deliberately misleading... and while pretty, their model is concerning. See screenshots. These are text messages exchanges with the "adoption coordinator"-- breeders do not use this language as it is deliberately manipulative. Know that the breeder you want to work with is transparent and interested in giving information about the genetic lineage especially the dog's mother. If a breeder does not want to share information on the dog's mother, they don't know the dog's mother. If there are no vet papers, there has not been a visit with a vet. Crockett Doodles and their affiliated departments (Crockett Pups, Bernalier Pups, etc) work to prove their reputation with BBB reviews, which is not indicative of humane treatment of such vulnerable souls. Know what the BBB does and doesn't do. Be smart and be careful.

I browsed multiple sites on internet before I came across this one and you should go here first!!! The web page explains their process and will help you through at every step. We adopted a 8 week old Cavapoo (Alexander/ Archie). We signed up for 4 weeks of training and it is worth everything! Our ground transport driver kept us informed as he crossed state lines and delivered to us on time. Archie was clean and happy to see us. He has settled into our home beautifully. I would highly recommend this faith based family oriented business who wants every Forever Home to be happy with their puppy .

Everything was perfect, from our initial registration all the way thru to the day we picked up our puppy. Everyone we spoke with and met was very helpful and were able to answer any questions or concerns that we had. Crockett Doodles is the poster child of perfection when it comes to finding and adopting a new puppy. I really can't say enough to say how great our whole experience was. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give Crockett Doodles a 100. If you're thinking of adopting a puppy use Crockett Doodles! You won't be disappointed, I promise.

We recently adopted our puppy Champy from Crockett Doodles. The experience we had was amazing from the help we received choosing our puppy, to the directions to the farm where we met him, to the advice on feeding, vaccines, and care, etc. You can tell when people truly care about dogs and these folks do. Their business runs like a well-oiled machine. Before we decided to pick Champy up in person, we had planned to have him delivered to us here in Savannah. I was amazed by how organized this process was. Not only are they organized, but they were incredibly kind and patient with my many questions and phone calls. If I ever adopt another puppy, it will be through Crockett Doodles. We adore our Cavapoo, Champy! He's not only beautiful, but very sweet and super smart!

Crockett Doodles was amazing to work with. I placed my deposit in Feb. of 2024 and could not buy a pup until July 2024. They kept in touch with me as I was not sure of the mixed breed that I wanted. I decided upon a Cavapoo but, I could not drive to South Carolina from N.H. and therefore they offered Pennsylvania as a pickup option. I also could not pick the pup up on a weekend and they were quite flexible giving me an option of a weekday. When you are a business; you must offer flexibility to the customer and they went above and beyond to help. I was given a bag of food to take with me when I picked up the pup as I had ordered some but, it was not going to get to my house in time. The exchange process was professionally reliable, friendly, and super easy. I have had my pup 2 weeks now and Crockett Doodles has followed up with me several times asking how things were going. I am tempted to get another but, need to think about this option!! Thank you Crockett Doodles for a puppy that has brought such joy to my heart and home!

Can't express how grateful we are for our boy, Bear, from Crockett Doodles! The process of being matched was simple, everyone I spoke with was attentive and helpful. He is a multigen bernedoodle and has far exceeded our expectations for a puppy. He is clearly very socialized (GREAT with our 3 year old dog), LOVES every person he's met (he's met 10+ people since arriving to us in December). He took to his crate easily at night with very minimal crying. He is incredibly cuddly and playful, and learns quickly. I'm not sure if it's a testament to the temperament of his parents, Crockett Doodle and the transition homes, or just plain luck... but regardless, he's the best thing that's ever happened to us, so thank you

Couldn't be happier. Everyone there was available day or night to answer my numerous queries. My puppy is beautiful and perfect. 1st puppy for me, therefore I had a LOT of questions... Newfydoodle- almost 12 weeks!

Working with Crockett Doodles was a pleasure from beginning to end. Communications were done quickly thru e-mails, a phone conversation with Tim, and text messages. And now , we have a Cockapoo puppy...the sweetest bundle of love, energy, and joy EVER! Lucy arrived in Tucson all the way from Greenville, SC with Sharon, her very own Flight Nanny. Sharon was wonderful and kept us informed throughout the morning with changes in the schedule and gate information. It's so sweet that Lucy arrived with her very own blanket that she shared with her two sisters.

My puppy is my little fluff-a-doodle angel! I couldn't love her more. The adoption process was clear and smooth. I would definitely recommend this breeder and would use them again. This puppy exceeded all expectations.

Simply put, Crockett Doodles is outstanding. We could not be happier with our Cavapoo Bella. She is the sweetest most perfect pup and we love her so much. My daughter adopted a Golden Doodle from Crockett. She had a fantastic experience therefore we did not hesitate to contact them when we ready to adopt a pup. Our experience was so fantastic that our next door neighbor adopted Bella's brother Franklin. The two pups have become "besties". Watching the three dogs romping around the backyard brings us much joy. The process from start to finish was easy. The entire Crockett team were in constant communication. They responded quickly to our many questions. Bella received training from Crockett. Brittany did a fantastic job training her! Tammy delivered Bella on time and in excellent condition. THANK YOU Crockett Doodles for our precious fur baby.

We recently purchased a petite mini goldendoodle from Crockett Doodles and could not be happier. Our little Bubba (formerly Patriot) is an absolute delight and our experience with Crockett Doodles was outstanding in every single way. Crockett is definitely not a "puppy mill;" we studied long and hard before deciding to get our pup from them. CD staff is extremely helpful, with follow-up emails to make sure our pup is doing well, and if we decide to get a second pup (doubt it at this point - he's quite the little handful!), we would definitely get one from them. Bubba is brilliant, learned to use a pee-pad almost immediately, and loves "taking me for a walk" on-leash around our large yard. We're making some progress with the "come" command, which he seems to consider more of a suggestion, and has filled our lives with more joy than we could imagine.

Our puppy from Bernalier Pups (Crockett Pups).

Ask the Community - Crockett Doodles

I adopted a dog from here about 6 weeks ago and have been emailing and trying to get in touch with ANYONE from this company with no luck. Has anyone dealt with this?

No, not at all - we worked with them for over a year and found them to be wonderful communicators. They responded 7 days a week to our communications. We have been extremely happy with Crockett Doodles and are delighted with our Bernedoodle puppy.

I am looking to adopt and older dog? Maybe 4yrs and up. Can be cavapoo, cockapoo, mini goldendoodle or any dog under 40lbs. Thank you for your attention

I think they're known mostly for puppies, but they do have a section on their website for dogs that need "re-homing," I've noticed though that those dogs are also mostly puppies sometimes 12 weeks old or some as old as 6-months old.… Read more

Especially since I'm doing this alone. Mikaela at Horizon has really been there for us and helping me to be a supportive dog parent. Bohdi gets compliments all the time what a good dog he is. He's an English Retriever and I've had him since he was 8 weeks. Mikaela taught me the importance of patience and was really there for me in my time of need when I felt like I was doing something wrong (I tend to overthink and be hard on myself). She would give me guidance and ways to be more patient and to also understand that he is just being a puppy and he is trying to figure things out. She helped me to keep going at a steady and learning patience. The Canine Connection School is also really amazing and I love it. I just wish it had a section for new puppy owners or just puppies in general. Like a section of how to start off with success with a new puppy and how to stay strong during this hard time. Mikaela taught me the importance of check ins, how to be Bohdi's advocate, Bohdi's body language cues, and helping me with crate training techniques. Her guidance through Bohdi's fear period has also helped immensely. I know that going through Horizon may be a bit expensive, but this is an investment that you will have forever. It's like paying for college, but this is going into knowledge of having a bond with your pup and having a better understanding of how to be there for them. One of my favorite things I've learned from Horizon is that your dog is not an accessory. He is your family member. You are his whole world. Be your dogs advocate. Bohdi is now 23 weeks old. We will most likely go back for another session when he is 1 years old or later. Just to check in and see how we are both doing. I'm continuously learning and I count on Horizon to be there.

Our dog was recently certified and we want to help our neighbors through this long process! We previously appreciated our dog boarding at Upstate Dog Academy but we stopped going for several reasons. Positives: James at Upstate Dog Academy offers dog boarding in his home and has a yard for daily outings. Negatives: We started with lessons at Upstate Dog Academy but we later found that other area dog trainers offer classes with a mix of more positive reinforcement and our dog started making more progress once we switched. Also, our dog just didn't seem to be getting the same amount of outdoor time here as at other kennels. On our last visit for boarding, our dog looked visibly distressed as we pulled in the driveway and we decided we would not be going back. *Routes to Therapy Dog Certification: 1. Attend private lessons for beginner through Therapy Dog and then get certified through Alliance of Therapy Dogs (ATD) via Noble Dog Hotel. This is the more expensive option. 2. Attend classes at Astro Kennels, then take Therapy Dog class at Petsmart in Mount Pleasant, SC, and then contact a private ATD evaluator through the ATD website. This is the cheaper option.
