Inside, I was the only customer. A young adult came over to help me, and when I told them I was in the market for some shoes to exercise walk in, they looked at me in horror and said, "But this is a RUNNING store!". I confirmed that I knew that, but also that I was pretty sure they would have some shoes for me anyway. I then consulted with the Manager, who right away had some suggestions. I really liked the pair of New Balance she recommended, and I left content with new shoes and socks. Expensive, but my feet are worth it.

She ignored me and so I picked up the box next to her and the male employee (the one who assaulted me) told me I couldn't have the second shoe. I asked him why and he said because people steal them. At the same time, he was preparing the second shoe for me to have my daughter try it on, so I took it from him and he suddenly roughly grabbed it from my hand and grabbed my finger at the same time and then took the shoes inside. I was absolutely stunned that he did that. I'm almost 50 years old, a father of three, and a physician and healthcare executive. To be treated like a common criminal when I'm just trying to have my daughter try on shoes is unacceptable. Don't shop here.
