She was witty, and attentive, refilling our drinks, checking on us, providing suggestions. I ordered the beef tips with mashed potatoes. She offered to bring complementary bread to go with that which was really thoughtful of her. My sister ordered the bowtie pasta while her husband ordered the Cajun chicken. They asked for some bread as well and she did bring them some. Everyone really enjoyed the meals.

I honestly don't know which one they put on this, but it's always the same and it's delicious! If you come at lunchtime, there's always gonna be a little bit of a wait. Steph is OK here, I wouldn't say that they stand out as being friendly or unfriendly, just pretty neutral. I think that they're eventually gonna have to expand someway, or move locations. It's just really good and it stays busy and pretty full. The soda all has natural cane sugar, so if that matters, you can get that here.

Today I decided to play tourist. I'd always heard about the adorable Cherry Street... only to learn…read moreit is not actually on Cherry Street. Tulsa said "plot twist" and honestly, I respect it. I hit the Coffee House on Cherry Street and was immediately greeted by a lineup of pies, cakes and muffins that made me salivate like I hadn't eaten in days. I behaved myself and ordered an iced Americano with an extra shot, a splash of cream, and a little sugar. It was smooth, not burnt or bitter. My friends grabbed a sandwich, chips, and a cookie for $15 and walked out full, happy, and bragging about how good everything was. The sandwiches, I'm told, were savory and judging by how silent they were while they devoured their turkey delights, I believed them. And now I have plans to return for my anniversary because I spotted a slice of German chocolate cake that could easily be shared with some to spare. I might even squeeze in the strawberry pie because balance. Tulsa, you're chaotic, charming, and delicious -- and I'm finally catching up.
