The people working here are actually French, this is very authentic and delicious homemade French cuisine. The crepes are delicious, and the house salad dressing is the best dressing I've ever had. These pastries are amazing! My husband and I stopped by because we saw a picture of their fruit tart. Now we couldn't leave without trying more of them so we bought four different kinds. I always love the quiche here. The pastries are amazing too, a little pricey but I know they make it from scratch each morning. I do wish they made the croissants everyday. I went for brunch on a Saturday and they did not make them that day. several people came in wanting them and left bc they did not have them that day. they said to call ahead but I feel that is a basic item that should be made everyday. An absolute must when in Tulsa. I had an amazing croissant jambon fromage, a warm ham and cheese croissant, filled with extra love and melty goodness. Although only one was taking orders, cooking, and serving, the service was quick and easy, even with the food names being in french and myself knowing not a lick of the language. We hope that our visit was a one-off day when they were overwhelmed. The staff was trying very hard but was challenged to keep up with orders in house and online for pick up. Husband had a beautiful and delicious fruit custard tart and hot tea. My broccoli/mushroom quiche was good (but too much ground pepper). The side salad was perfect. If getting a coffee, order an espresso. I had the Americain and it was self-serve in carafe. Sadly, it wasn't great (coffee at hotel was better). I started out with a cup of their coffee (the cafe Viennois-their house coffee topped with chantilly) and it was exceptionally good. My friend had the mint tea and it was really different and super good. For lunch I had L'Omelette-omelet with cheese, onion, bechamel sauce and bacon-super delicious! Let me start off by saying the crepes and salads are really good. The stars are for the food only. The owner isn't very friendly and has made me and my family uncomfortable when ordering. Most of the menu is in French and we do our best by pointing at the menu taped to the counter. As none of us know French, we hope that by pointing at what we'd like there would be no confusion. But most of the time the owner wants us to say what we want even though we clearly don't know how to pronounce the dish and are clearly pointing to a specific dish. I understand that it may seem rude of us to point but it's the only way for us to convey what we'd like without stammering. I suggest he put numbers by the dishes to avoid any confusion and embarrassment. There is a woman who works there that I've seen a couple times. She is really sweet and helpful. Another thing, unless you are a party of four or smaller I highly recommend not coming. They don't have the capacity to produce very much food and my large family overwhelms them easily. That said, if it is you and a friend, and you don't mind the awkward ordering, the food is quite nice. read more

I went to this place for the first time today to pick up a DoorDash order. As I walked in, I waited a moment for the staff to become available so I could let them know I was there. While waiting (literally less than 30 seconds), I looked at the food on the counter to see what they offered. Out of nowhere, someone who seemed to be the owner or the cook came out of the kitchen yelling at me in a very rude tone, saying I had to wait somewhere else because the space was too small. I was shocked--I hadn't done anything wrong. When he asked if it was my first time there, I said yes and told him how rude he was. He never apologized and just walked away. It then took nearly 20 minutes for the order to be ready. I have no intention of ever going back. If that's how they treat people, they shouldn't be running a restaurant. In case you didn't know, a Crêpe is a fancy French version of tortilla that is usually served rolled up like a burrito of folded over like a quesadilla. They can be filled with something sweet or something that is not sweet, like eggs and cheese, (kinda like a breakfast burrito.) They are rarely filled with beans and rice and hot sauce is not a commonly used condiment. The café normally opens at 10 AM. Today there was a sign on the door informing customers to the café's late start of 10:20. Down the street to QT we went, to top off the gas tank and kill a few minutes. There was a line when we returned. Someone must not have shown up for work. The owner/chef was hastily taking orders at the cash register, encouraging customers to make up their mind and point at the menu pictures to more quickly communicate their selection. My wife and I had studied the menu before we left home. We knew what we wanted. Under pressure, finding our selection on the menu printed with French names and English subtitles was a challenge. A La Banane for me and a La Biquette for my wife. I really wanted a plain cup of coffee, but the owner strongly recommended the Café Viennois. With the line cleared the owner /chef got to work. A few minutes later another employee showed up and food started rolling out of la cuisine. The menu is online, so I won't bore you with the ingredients of each meal that we had. Unless you are fluent in French pastry terms you will need to study it closely before you go to the café anyway. My La Banne was fresh, sweet and rich. Check the pictures. The crêpe was delicious. I could have eaten a couple of crêpes plain. They were that good. The La Biquette is an amazing combination of flavors and tastes: sweet honey, tangy goat cheese, nutty walnuts, and a hint of woodsy Rosemary. An unusual and delicious combination. The Café Viennois with its big dollop of Chantilly was very good, but it was a little too much sweet to have with the La Banane. Order and pay at the counter. The food is delivered to your comfortable, cozy little table. Friendly attentive service. The only thing really fancy about the café besides the French names of the pastries, are the rich decadent looking, amazing works of art in the pastry display case. We stopped in for brunch and split a chicken and broccoli quiche. It was really well cooked and well seasoned and the crust was good. We then both picked a sweet item. My wife went with a fruit tart with a custard base. The fruit on it were nice and fresh, she said the custard base was good but a little bit sweet but the crust was very tough to cut through. I went with the Nutella Cheesecake and oh my, it was so darn sweet, the texture of the cheesecake was great, the cream and chocolate on top were great but it was just so, so sweet it drowned out all the flavor. We were here during Covid so I am not going to take points/stars off for paper plates, foam cups and plastic silverware but I would have expected real plates and silverware even during Covid at the prices they were charging. Wanted a crepe, and this was a fantastic sugar bomb ! I had the Crepe la Pomme Cannelle, which is caramel, apples, and cinnamon. Rich, warm, and sweet experience! Had plastic ware that didn't have a problem cutting through the crepe. The cinnamon apples were warm and still slightly crispy, not completely mushed thank goodness. The crepe batter was moist but had a nice texture. And the walnuts added a nice extra crunch. Some kind of vanilla cream added to the side complemented the crepe, too! When I am in a mood for some fine quiches, a delicate pastry or a tart with masterfully crafted fruit toppings this is where I go! When you walk in you're treated to a large photograph of the Louvre museum in France and also a deli case filled with wonderful savory and sweet treats. I for one enjoy the quiche with goat cheese and bacon and consume onsite and then take a treat home with me. The service here is great. The staff being small are still attentive and friendly. The chefs I would assume are classically trained and deliver high quality faire. The space is romantic and charming and is also kept well and clean. Lovely little bakery! We had the Croque Madame, and the Nordique and Nutella crepes. Everything was delightful. The side salads were tasty and très chic. The dressing was really tasty. You will wait a bit for the crepes, but definitely worth it. The salmon in the Nordique was very "salmon-y", so it took a moment for our palettes to adjust after eating the Nutella crepe. But once we were used to it, it was delicious. The chantilly was creamy and dreamy. My only feedback for five starts would be actual cutlery and larger cups of coffee for the price. Came in for a sweet treat once, decided I had to come back to try more items, returned with the family for Sunday brunch, Le Louvre did not disappoint! It's a quaint little authentic French bakery that actually offers an entire menu of breakfast and lunch items, as well as your traditional French bakery sweets and breads. Everyone in our group loved their food! We tried made-to-order crepes (both sweet and savory), soups and stews, quiches, breakfast sandwiches, croissants and pies (basically most of the menu). Everything was fresh with rich and decadent flavors. The man who helped us make our selections (I'm assuming the owner?) was very knowledgeable and helpful. If the only thing I had eaten from Le Louvre was the almond croissant, this would be a [*][*] review, because it was one of the most disappointing almond croissants I've eaten in quite some time. What's the opposite of generous? Chintzy? Chintzy seems to be the appropriate adjective for the almond cream filling inside the almond croissants. They certainly give the impression of being tantalizing (see pictures), but after the first few bites, everyone in the vehicle was asking, "Wait, is this just a croissant with almonds on top? Is there any almond cream on the inside?" We didn't realize until we opened them, but it was almost like our croissants were sliced, and the knife used happened to have the most parsimonious layer of almond filling on it and it lightly brushed the inside of the croissant. It was so sparse that it felt like they had accidentally put almond cream on the inside. Of course, we only realized that they were largely plain croissants (with almonds sprinkled on top) some 45 minutes into our drive home (back to Oklahoma City), so I was pretty peeved about it. Especially considering that: (1) I love almond croissants somethin' fierce and was looking forward to it, and (2) said almond croissants were not, like, cheap either you know (at $4.50 apiece)? But then there was this layer cake that I had also ordered (see picture) on a whim that... Oh man, words can't begin to describe how amazing that cake was. The young lady who took my order had recommended it, so I don't even know what it was called other than it was a layer cake, and it was Lemon and some kind of berry. Even the Square receipt lists the item merely as "Custom Amount" for $7.20. But it was the best $7.20 I've spent on dessert in quite some time. There were so many delicate and delicious flavors and textures; it's been a couple days now, and I'm still salivating over it. Now I wish I had ordered the Lemon & Apricot Layer Cake as well, which looked similar, but it didn't include the (bright pink) macaron on top. The macaron was not my favorite thing to be honest; I tasted rosewater or something, and it was very dry. Overall, it was the least enjoyable aspect of an otherwise mind-blowing dessert. Bonjour! (good morning!) I learned the word from my cousin who lives in France. He said "BONJOUR!" to me. So he was right, and he said once I would go to love France's culture. There are no words that I like about it. This owner is from Paris, France, and literally made real sweetness cakes. Bless me! Strawberry Tarts- it literally likes tastes more sweetness and softer. Also, strawberries make a fresh and cold especially when I bite softer. The cream has more sweetness, but I can tell that was the high quality they are handmade. Also, these textures are beautiful shapes and perfect. Crepe la Nordique: Creamy garlic salmon, bechamel, and cheese? The pancake was great, and the soft is easy chewing, but the salmon is my favourite food. I can't find any words, and I was speechless. Try to bite this. Croque Madame: I wish I should have eaten the whole meal, but I can't. It was my boyfriend who ordered this, and he said it was pretty good!
