Our 5 year old has been in his class since April and has learned a lot and has made friends with all the kids. I stay for the class, there is plenty of seating for parents and coach interacts with everyone and makes jokes, we're laughing a lot. The kids get plenty of water breaks and each class usually ends with sparring. I have tried the adult class and never did jiujitsu in my life. It doesn't matter what level you're at when you join a class, coach and other people training will help you. While I haven't signed up for jiujitsu yet I have joined the morning conditioning workouts on M, W, & F mornings. It is an hour of intense training that includes running, high intensity intervals, and strength training with weights and body weight. I love it! I have been doing it since May and plan to continue inevitably :-)

Instructor Mark put his hands on my child's face in a very aggressive manner not once but twice. It was brought up to higher ups attention and nothing was done about this matter. I understand the discipline behind kung fu, but there are some boundaries that just should've be crossed and that was one of them. The integrity of this facility was clear as day as this happened when neither parent was around and we were told by other parents watching the class, who also get this was overstepping boundaries as far as discipline during practice. No accountability was taken by the instructors, no apologies were given for the way I was feeling as a parent. absolute disappointment

Last summer we signed our two kids up for the 6-week try out. They really liked it and after watching them I was intrigued to try it myself. The best part: if you pay membership for two family members, the rest of your family can go for no extra charge. I had nothing to loose and some great fun and fitness to win. We've been members for 6 months now and each already advanced two belt levels and I am looking forward to the next one. All staff are very good teachers, very friendly and fun. Lots of other families go there, many of them with mom, dad and several children. Highly recommended!!
