They say there are 75-90 vendors in there. To me, it is just a big store with a very wide variety of merchandise. From the outside, it looked a little dated. But once you step inside, it is awesome. I bought a dress, two pair of pants and a sweater here. There was a guy who was assisting me and I don't remember his name. He was helpful without being pushy and that is always appreciated by me. The quality of the clothes is pretty good. The prices are mostly pretty fair. I did notice a run in the pants I bought after I got home of course. They would gladly return or exchange them but I live too far away. I will get them altered near home. I just wish The Franklin Shops had a location near where I live. No appointment required for taking things in to consign here. The owner, Debbie Fuller, and her staff are very knowledgeable. Ms Fuller is very hands on, especially regarding consigning larger pieces like sofas, coffee tables etc. She will review those kinds of items via email and respond to prospective consigners quickly. Items are priced fairly and there's a color code explaining daily discounts visible at the entrance. Items are often heavily discounted, I imagine to allow sales to move quickly. Lightweight shopping carts are available and designed to maneuver around the vast space which is very thoughtfully laid out and maintained. Brands range from no-name to high-end designer. Regarding clothing, if you want to consign here: be mindful of the season, inspect your things (this isn't GoodWill) and be sure that they're on hangers that you're willing to part with. Don't haggle when consigning, these ladies know what they're doing and they move fast. Talk of the Town Consignment is truly a destination in and of itself. Well, I walked in, knowing I would spend some money. They had loose geodes in some crates. I chose one, purchased it, and then cracked it open with their machine. Not that I have a bucket list, but if I did have one, I would scratch this item off. Thanks to the people at Spirit Of The Earth, I now have a geode.
