Cute little spot for coffee! Theres plenty of space to study/use your computer too. I got an avocado toast (pretty underwhelming) and the crème brûlée latte (8/10). The acovado toast could use some more pizzaz... its literally just avocado and seasoning and the creme brulee latte was a bit bland under the torched sweetness on top. I really enjoy this coffee shop. Great vibes, cool café nice size. The Customer Service is always great.. the guy at the register was super patient and kind. The menu is great, lots of food options from bagels, toast English muffins, avocado toast, Brie & fig toast, peanut butter, toast, and grilled cheese sandwich sandwiches. Well, in addition to muffins, croissant cookies, scones a nice drink, selection, and winter drink specials. I ordered the blueberry scone (so delicious, def a new FAV) and it's from Costex bakery in Healdsburg. I ordered a cappuccino, I received a latte. Little disappointing, but I didn't complain, it was definitely a good latte. I was looking forward to a nice foamy cappuccino. No biggie. I definitely recommend anyone to check them out. Used to live in Santa Rosa awhile back and this place wasnt open at the time as someone who doesnt drink coffee I cant speak much on that but the English Breakfast tea was good and my wife had the iced Macchiatto or however its spelled and she said it was great. Overall the lattes lacked flavor. Tasted like milk water. The food was good but felt very overpriced. $45 for two 12 oz lattes, a burrito, avocado toast and a chocolate croissant. Service was quick. If you're looking for some good, locally roasted coffee in Santa Rosa, cruise over to Crooks Coffee. They happen to be family-owned and independent, which is pretty much the opposite of a chain like Starbucks, and they'll remind you of that with their funny "Starbucks sucks" merch for sale (haha)! We dug the hipster/artsy and vintage-y vibes, and ode to writer/poet Edgar Allen Poe. It's like The Raven come to life in coffee shop fashion! My hubby and I enjoyed some tasty lattes, smooth and bold with just a hint of sweetness (definitely not bitter). The only bummer was that there were really no vegan options food-wise except for an avocado toast. Baked goods/pastries are either made in-house or by a local bakery, which is great, but again, not vegan friendly which was a bit of a bummer. It's worth mentioning that Sundays are free street parking (woohoo!) and it wasn't too busy on the Sunday we dropped in around 8:45-9am. New to Sonoma Area and found this coffee shop through my social media feed. Hands down best coffee shop I have been to. Just their coffee on tap is to die for. As a frequent coffee drinker this is the best place in Sonoma County. Only bad thing is the lack of parking. Be ready to walk and pay for street parking. It could be bad for people trying to rush in and out for their morning coffee. If your off work and have time its definitely worth the meter parking and small walk. read more

What I liked; they have a good selection of caffeinated and non caffeinated teas. Outlets available near most seating. Cute artwork. Dog friendly (maybe too friendly I don't want a dog being allowed to sit on someone's lap at a table inside?) Location is great and plenty of parking (paid) on a Thursday around noon. Disliked: WiFi wasn't working and the baristas explanation was "it gets messed up with the apartments upstairs, let me ask my manager" I didn't get a follow up or response later and I was there for a few more hours, they totally ignored the issue. Was never able to use the wifi. Bathroom key was being used constantly making an arbitrarily long wait for bathroom use. Tea costs almost 5$ and it wasn't loose leaf or anything fancy so questionable on whether I'll order that again They close at 3 pm. :( I like my coffee shops open late. We were passing through Santa Rosa and had just filled up on sushi down the street. Now we were on the hunt for some coffee to get us through the rest of our drive, and I chose this spot because it was only a short walk away and looked the most promising on Yelp. My boyfriend is more of the coffee connoisseur and recently made the switch to decaf only. I tend to enjoy anything sugary or unique flavors paired with coffee so I couldn't really tell you what's good and what isn't so much when it comes to coffee shops. All I know is that my boyfriend gives his approval for this spot's decaf latte, and I give my approval for the creme brulee latte. There was no line when we placed our order but a couple of other customers' drinks were still in the queue to be made, so we did have to wait about 10 minutes or so. A lady who ordered after we did ended up swiping another lady's drink since everyone was ordering lattes, which messed up the barista's flow and probably contributed to the longer wait time for us. Our drinks were called out only by their drink names, so remember to double check that it's your name on the cup before taking it! The shop is spacious with a lot of open seating on a weekend afternoon, and everything is curated well to the raven theme. My boyfriend did ask for one of their "Starbucks sucks" stickers but they happened to be out, if you're also on team anti-Starbucks then you'll feel right at home here. read more

I've been coming here for a while and never thought about leaving a review until now. This is a cute, locally owned cafe. I love to support local when I can. I've never had their drip coffee but their crafted espresso drinks are great. They sell Costeaux Bakery (also local) pastries and assorted breakfast sandwiches, toasts, and burritos. All good. Before I wrote this I read some of the other reviews. Interesting that what some people experience as rude I just see as reserved. Some people are more lowkey and reserved. The crème brûlée latte is a good choice when wanting a little more sweetness but my go to is the white mocha and I tell you what, these baristas know how to make a fake good white mocha. Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Santa Rosa! I love going in and seeing all of their seasonal drinks. My favorites being their iced rose lavender latte and their maple pecan latte. I like the strong coffee taste, so I always ask for an extra shot of expresso in my lattes. Just a note- they pull double shots when you ask for an extra shot. They are very consistent, so whenever I go there I know what I'm getting. The staff is also very friendly! I came here on a brief visit to Santa Rosa - having never heard of this place before. When I walked in, I felt like I was visiting a Halloween store refurbished by a hipster into a coffee shop (complete with crows and skulls and a satirical picture of the Devil on the wall).
