Saturday am otw to my kids baseball game. Decided to stop by and grab a latte because we had the time. I have my go-tos (cinnamon honey latte) but it sucks when a barista doesn't know how to make a drink and takes 5x longer (so now late to his game sheesh). Idk this kid didn't seemed new because he was greeting customers by name. He made other drinks of people who came after me. I was not satisfied with my visit today and only a few times this has happened in the past. My iced latte was missing the honey lol one of the important ingredients listed in its name. Tasted disgusting and had to add the honey myself, so you know what happens to honey in cold drinks. What a disaster. And for this my overall rating did go down so hopefully have a positive update in the near future! read more

Cute little ( and I mean little) local Coffee shop near Guerneville town that was open early. Easy parking, they seemed very popular with the locals. Friendly staff & a good menu on a surfboard. Seemed like everyone was ordering the breakfast burritos with their coffee, we had the normal cappuccino and sat outside on high tables they had. The coffee was very good that we bought some to take back to our BnB. Had a little bit of swag to buy. Worth the wait in line. read more

The coffee here is normally pretty good but it has a tendency to be burnt on occasion. The staff is always very nice but it's a small shop so be prepared for a wait during busy days! They have lots of amazing pastries and even offer gluten free and vegan options! A very good place for a decent cup of coffee on the go, or a nice shake. Their coffee beans themselves are QUITE good - I have a nice burr grinder setup at home, so not accounting for improper grind or anything like that I've noticed that the beans I get from them tend to be better than what I can get at most stores - I have to go online to get better-quality beans, which says good things about them, especially for the price. As far as what they actually make on premises, the cold brew is excellent, if a little on the pricy side (but you always pay to support local), and their shakes are shockingly good given that they're mainly a coffee retailer. If you want something a little off-the-cuff, their Thai iced tea shake is AMAZING, but their espresso and chocolate shakes are just as good, and their smoothies are also pretty decent too. If you want something hot instead, they do a decent cappuccino, although having never gotten a straight espresso there, I couldn't tell you what the quality of the base ingredient is. Definitely stop by if you're in the area and jonesing for some caffeine or need to stock up on whole beans, you won't be disappointed. read more

4.5 stars- good, organic coffee in the downtown Forestville. They include paper straws which are a more sustainable option but you have to drink it fast or take it out if you're not using it. Refreshing on a hot day. Would be nice if they had some seating outdoors but still a nice spot and there's a park just a quick walk away. read more

The surfboard menu and the cold brew enticed me to this local coffee shop in Forestville. There weren't too many options around but I'm glad we ended up here. They serve a few specialty lattes and blended drinks. The locals seem to love their blended mocha as they were whipping them out left and right. I came here for their cold brew so I had to get the world famous version. It comes with creamer, vanilla, and whip. I must say the cold brew base itself was quite good. I think they used a blonde roast or a medium roast. It wasn't too tart or bitter. They also have a small pastry selection that they outsource from a local bakery but there weren't very much left when we stopped by. They also have beans on sale and I heard they are popular amongst the locals and tourists. The prices are also pretty fair and affordable in comparison to larger coffee chains. Would stop by here again if I'm ever in the area! read more

My favorite coffee shop in West County. A local fav. Tiny but best coffee ever. Standing room only with one tiny counter for 1-2 people to sit and 2 tables outside. Local art for sake on the walls. Some pretty cool stuff. They have pretty much all the usual coffee stuff but the also offer the most amazing espresso or mocha shakes ever. Be warned. They're totally addicting. You gotta try one. My usual is the house decaf or Americano. So rich and full bodied. Love love love their coffee. A local favorite with colorful characters hanging out. Our cousin poured everyone a cup our first morning there, seriously the BEST we've had! took 2 small bags home with us and have been ordering online since then. This was in 2013. Love that we can order 5lb bags and have it in less than a week. The guys n gals at Sunshine Roasters have even thrown in sample bags of other blends(at no cost), much appreciated! The Italiano would be my 2nd choice, 1st choice-Light Roast. I got the house coffee large and I love it!! I drink coffee on occasion and I heard from a little bird this place was Dakine.
